I think the whole point of star vs the forces of evil, is that she actually wasn’t initially the “good”, and the forces of evil are actually deep rooted social political structures
The episodic shenanigans are what *made* me love this show
And the romance drama and season 4 are what made me drop it
The episodic shenanigans got me into the show, the later plot got me HOOKED on the show.

In fact, Ponyhead not only surviving but still flying is huge evidence of the opposite: Star didn’t destroy “magic” as in the force of nature the permeates the multiverse, she destroyed “magic” as in the force of the state employed by the Butterfly family to maintain their oppression on monsters.
The alleged billions or trillions of beings in the multiverse that relied on magic to live are a fan creation, the only ones we actually know did die are Glossaryck, and things that were given life through magic. Glossaryck and Hekapoo supported the plan, Rhombulus and Prime were actively working with the genocidal army, and the unicorns were all zombies by the time the whispering spell was cast. The only victims of the whispering spell were the spells in the wand, if you view the wand episodes literally, but even then it’s only a few thousands of maybe-sentient beings, far from “making Thanos look reasonable”.
So, while I haven't watched much of Star Vs., I can use history to answer the toilet question:
People in castles had garderobes, which were basically large funnels on the side of the castle, and there were servants who would periodically clean out the exit.
Non-nobles had outhouses, which would be moved periodically as the holes they stood on were filled up.

As an American who used to have a possum in our backyard, I love possums! We named him Rolo (after the candy) and he was very sweet. We also had bats in that backyard, which I also adore.

Possums are actually a very different animal from Australia.
An opossum looks sort of like a very big rat. With the naked tail and narrow face.
Whereas a possum looks a little more like a squirrel. With a fluffy tail and more brown coloration.

Australian possums are cute but so are American ones I never knew Australia had possum but this is how we learn.

Anyway Star Vs. is actually a pretty great show. The first season was kind of wobbly since they were still refining the premise, but it got better in season 2 and 3. So there are 4 more season to give you nightmare fuel. Lol.

This show utterly haunted me for a long time while watching it and even after finishing it. I believe the show would have gotten a lot more praise had they had 1 more season to work on the story rather than how it really ended....

I’m sorry to tell you this, but just adding more seasons won’t really fix it since the creator knew how many seasons she was getting from the start. Adding another season would probably have the same conclusion just a little longer to get there

I hear your word, child. Just because it stopped doesn't mean it's over. They're future villains that will help her develop herself but one of them is watching her and her allies without their notice.
Star is a princess from a dimension called Mewni and she was sent to Earth so that she can learn safely how to use her magic wand. I don't know if you have noticed... but Star is pretty irresponsible and has a tendency to break the rules. She lives with Marco and his family as an "exchange student" and he couldn't be more different than her... which is why they get along well (even if they had a rough start).

Considering the unicorn head is an important recurring character, u don't want to know. Her dimension is basically all magic & medieval no tech. She's technically being punished by being sent to a dimension with no magic in hopes of her becoming more careful & responsible. As you can see, bad idea. She is SUPPOSED to be a goodguy & protector but it's somewhat a subversion of that. A good heart but reckless and naive with way too much power & parents who let her have too much power. Poor Marco is the perfect example of normal & responsible so he's basically paired with her. Poor guy is basically in charge of keeping her in check. It's been a while so u can probably believe any comments correcting me. It's less creepy imagery but more intentionally weird than owl house. Similar vibes. Also I don't think we get the answer but it's probably buckets and or bushes.
The fact that this is only s1... and there are 4 seasons of chaos xD
