@@Synchronicities- yip. Someone asked one of the main writers on the show and the episode and it’s basically confirmed. They asked if it was actually meant to be gay and she confirmed that yes everything she’s ever written is gay.
Edit: fixed the wording and I'm pretty sure that very conversation with that same twitter user went on to confirm that Apple White is canonically a lesbian who suffers from CompHet. (Pretty sure Darling is supposed to be a lesbian too, but her bio on her doll/something that was on the website years ago, she was asked what she likes in a BOY specifically. But people have pointed out marketing would have done those and not necessarily collaborated with the writers for that so some people read her as bi, some people disregard it.)

Raven's evil rampage scene is one I watch repeatedly because of how amazing they made her, not to mention the effects and the voice distortion on Raven it just made her a ripe badass.
Also I believe after this, it's the Dragon Games - which is a personal favorite
Raven being "evil" is one of the coolest things to watch from this series. XD

Looking at this episode logically the villain is actually right. I mean if the land you are in is being ruled over by a despotic, insane (through magic) tyrant with a penchant for chopping off heads, wouldn't you try to overthrow them?
Especially since the heir to the thrown is exiled, and learning in a school with very different ethics, laws and even physics. Are you going to trust that the next ruler, if she ever does make it back, will be able to navigate the ridiculously complex politics and laws they would find themselves in charge of after years away with no reports? Are you going to spend time that people are being beheaded waiting for the next probable dictator to show up, or are you going to take action.
Furthermore when the future Queen does show up, it is only to try and rescue the currant despotic ruler. AND she does it in the company of the daughter of the woman who cursed the monarch with madness (no hate to Raven but you've got to admit it's sus).
The logic does have some serious backing to it, but at the same time isn't Wonderland odd and just different? So wouldn't the ideal type of ruler be different for them? I don't know maybe I just like the Queen of Hearts to much.
This only makes sense if you ignore the fact that Courtney is also insane and a tyrant. She wasn't doing it for actually moral reasons, that was just an excuse.
I'm actually kind of suprised that Way Too Wonderland had Apple doing the feature and not Blondielocks. Like, her entire thing is that shes the school reporter. It would make sense for her to be included in that way.
The Wonderland set is my favorite of the arcs though they are all great. Each time I watch it and Spring Unsprung it becomes very clear that Wonderland actually is very structured and lawfully aligned outsiders just dont understand the laws it follows. It is so fun taking the time to figure out the actual underlying rules and why things that appear absolutely illogical are the results :)

@@Anna-kz7km Undertanible lol but personally I think Dragon Games gave her so mutch more backstorry (basically that she have serious mommy issues, wich makes perfect sense for her chacter) and she kinda redeems herself later on, so it made me saw Apple as a more complex chacter rather than hate her in fact it made me like her more lol but yes she messed up big time still
I used to hate her as a kid but by this season and OMG dragon games?! She's my fcking cinnamon apple (pun intended) and all of her haters can fight me in the parking lot after school.

i love the moment with apple and raven near the end when she stops her from using her full powers on courtly. the development of their relationship is so cool to watch
I have a headcanon for all media types of Wonderland:
Everyone loves the Queen of Hearts and thinks of her as the best ruler they could ever possibly have.
And the reason that the whole "Off with your head!" thing isn't a problem is because death either doesn't exist or doesn't work like that.
I could totally imagine people in Wonderland walking around with their heads literally in their hands and going to various businesses to get it sewn or glued back on.
Maybe businesses aren't allowed to do that for you for a random amount of time and the only punishment is just a massive inconvenience instead of death.
Because everyone in Wonderland is mad here and so is their Queen, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
Way too wonderland is probably my favourite story arc of ever after high, and I cannot wait for dragon games!

Because of the other arcs I more so ship apple white and darling charming. They are canon haha, it's confirmed. (Dragon Games Arc) And also apparently apple white is a confirmed lesbian. I can't go deeper in fear of spoilers but once you watch it all will become clear. Also I think Raven and Dexter is the other ship although I really love Maddie so freaking much

It's more because of one of the writers confirming it on Twitter apparently, It's been a while but I remember looking up the canon ships a few years (2 or 3) back and completely missing the subtext the first time I watched it all when I was 5 or 6 (I'm 15+ now) which is around a decade ago now, I completely forgot about the Darling being Apples True love reveal until I saw them when I was looking for Raven x Apple moments. Honestly I wish there was more to the show haha/lh Would have loved to see more of the characters

Raven's mom being trapped in Every mirror reminds me so much of Doctor Who Family of Blood, I think the sister suffered that fate?
One of the reasons I love Ever After High so much is because of its portrayal of Wonderland. In my perspective, EAH has the best portrayal of Wonderland in media. Instead of trying to make sense of Wonderland, EAH understands that Wonderland has its own logic and effectively displays it in a way that's both fun and understandable. EAH highlights, and even creates, Wonderland's unique logic that works differently from our world. What I find so ingenious is that they make Wonderland logic easy to understand to the viewer through the use of riddles. It ties everything together while not tryinging to make it make sense in terms of real world logic. And they've been acclimating the viewers to this riddle-induced Wonderlan logic from the beginning with Maddie's behavior and speech as well as the plot of Giles' curse. I WILL SAY IT AGAIN AND AGAIN: EVER AFTER HIGH IS INGENIUS IN ALL ASPECTS.
I sometimes forget how *different* the books are from the show. I really enjoyed how certain students could narrate, and they described it as 'it's like thinking... But... *Louder* '

I Just rewatched all his reaction videos to Ever After High, and then watched Way Too Wonderland (also had the same exact realization that it was Way Too Wonderland and Way To Wonderland. No idea how I didn't realize that before). So seeing this was very exciting!!
