@jones4106 ah, didn’t realize the gem stones were the source of the Trollz magic. I guess that inspired the “Trolls: The Beat Goes On” episode where they introduce Troll Gems once a Troll reaches a certain age and level of happiness and joy. The Gems even glow when the owner sings 😁
Trolls + no sleep is a nightmare combination. It's a fever dream normally, but without sleep to tide you over it's an absolute trip. Poor Mat.
basically the trolls hair is akin to a green lantern ring it can do basically whatever is needed for the plot at the moment but predominantly is used to make constructs to help them

The Trolls movies are purely comfort movies for me. They just make me instantly smile and warm my heart. Seeing this video notification pop up got me so excited!!!! I highly recommend watching these movies, mainly for the context of all these scenes lol, but for the warm and fuzzies too. The talent in these is INSANE too! Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake as the leads alone!!!

You absolutely need to watch the movie. I genuinely really, really enjoy it so much. And I do cry whenever they sing True Colors, it's so gorgeous. And if you want something that will make you probably feel pretty similar to how this made you feel, you should DEFINITELY listen to songs from Centaurworld. It's very, very weird...but also very sweet and charming?? And just some honestly crazy amazing vocals

Im so glad you included Get Back Up Again! It and ‘Cant Stop the Feeling’ are the only original songs in the first movie so im relieved it wasnt looked over
True Color is a song remade for the movie, but it was fill with even more fillings.
Look on the bright side, you've gotten into the Troll movies just when the third one has already been released, so you won't have to wait 4 or 3 years for the sequel lol
Not to mention that the 3rd one has a pretty awesome soundtrack.
Like, never was personally into the boy band stuff or anything (with the closest probably being ‘bro-country’ for me), but watching the 3rd movie created the teenage girl I could have been 😂
I feel like pointing out that the version of 'I can't stop the feeling' in the movie is different since there's more than just Timberlake singing in that one.
Since I grew up in a non English speaking country most of these reactions is the first time I hear the English version of the song, and it’s so interesting seeing them with reaction

It's always amazing to me how much I DON'T read into movies I watch, having grown up on movies and shows made so you just like. Don't question things. Then I watch something like this and I'm just sitting here like. Yeah I mean that DOESN'T make sense but it never occured to me to think about why it doesn't lol.

I love how he watches this right after the new Trolls movie come out in the US. The third movie has some amazing song that I know you’ll love

Just a little thing, the "Just Sing" song is from the second Trolls movie, all the rest in this are from the first one. Also, the first Trolls movie got me through the second half of 2020 when I was starting to feel really down. ^^;

They have many powers as shown throughout all 3 movies, and you should watch all 3 of them, the 3rd one came out recently in theatres and it's REALLY good, the first and second movies are also a treat to watch as well

For anyone confused about Just sing there are multiple genres and sub-genres Pop, (The main one) Rock, Classical, Techno, Funk, and Country and many other sub-genres that do there own thing. Poppy broke the magic muguffin that controlled all music so every was sad but then she told everyone that music was in there hearts or whatever and the years of generation fighting just magically disappeared

I went to watch Trolls went my youngest brother and ended up being the one more invested. Im a sucker for Anna Kendrick. BYT might be Beautiful Young Thing.
So my family and I went saw the first movie on a whim, mostly because my little sis and cousins wanted to see it so we were like “sure, what else we got going on.” Me and mom did not expect anything too mind blowing. Lo and behold thought we ended up having a great time and I even cried during the True Colors sequence. I cried. During a Trolls movie. Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? That moment was just so wholesome bro. I haven’t seen the sequels but I thoroughly enjoyed that first movie.
It’s that time again. That time where I recommend the RWBY (pronounced Ruby) soundtrack, starting with Volume 1, continues. Once again because they’re bangers. Lyric vids recommended.

Watched the first movie of Trolls in theaters with my best friend years ago because we wanted to see a movie and the trailer looked funny. Every movie has been an absolute fever dream ever since and I have loved every second of it somehow. Really recommend watching the movies. It's just a nice, feel-good series (so long as you don't think too hard about the logic of the world and why there are trolls shitting glitter).
Aww shame you didnt see the actualy version of True Colours used in the movie. I like that rendition better. It tears me up

1st movie Plot: The trolls were fine until the other race you saw started to _eat_ them. Years later, Pink Troll is the leader of the trolls now and wants to make both trolls and the other race friends :]. It works.
2nd movie plot: So apparently, there's more troll races based on music, and the Rock Trolls are trying to take over _all_ of the other trolls. Pink Troll and her friends plan to stop them. It works.
IDK if you watched songs from the 3rd movie, I haven't watched it yet.
1st movie have Trolls and Bergens.
2nd movie tells us of there is more trolls as there music type.

You need to react to the first Trolls movie! True Colora was so much more impactful with the context of the story! Plus, that other song where the trolls were gray was from the second movie. Basically when trolls give up all hope and lose their happiness they turn gray.

The girls name is Bridgette and she can’t use her real name because she’s the kings maid and she was in love with the king so the trolls helped her “change her identity” temporarily so the king will love her back I don’t really remember the movie much?? But I think they asked for return for her to help them get their friend back.
Basically in the first movie it’s the trolls and the Bergens the bergens eat trolls because they’re told eating a troll will make them happy a long time ago they escaped Bergen town and started a secret home for trolls only, then the kings chef found the trolls because of a party and she took poppy’s friends (the pink troll) so her an branch (her other “soon to be” friend I guess you can say😅) went to save her friends.
So basically the movie is about saving her friends and while doing so, helping a Bergen find love.
You should watch it it’s a good movie and everything you were confused about will be explained

If you really liked “True Colors,” then definitely listen to “Perfect For Me” from Trolls: World Tour! It’s a slow melody, beautiful harmonies, and is soooo soothing to listen to, even though the lyrics and context of the song’s scene makes me teary eyed every time 🥲 The full song isn’t played during the movie, but the parts they do use still pack an emotional punch.
They're a bit older than what you typically react to, but how about songs from The Brave Little Toaster and its sequels? All the songs from the first movie for certain, but the sequels' songs would be fun to react to as well. (I See a New You and Home Again from Goes to Mars are particularly surprisingly great).
