Nisha, you are a sculptor and an artist, and a beauty! They made real Greek amphorae; you probably got them from the bottom of the North Sea. It looks incredible. You can paint them as decoration even without branches, brush off the dust with a soft brush. If I lived alone, I would be more free in my actions, but in my small room I can’t afford anything. You have a different matter, you have your own backyard, you have freedom 📖and space🌌. I'm so glad you found something to do. I used to do loads of DIY and crafting projects but as I've got older I seem to have lost my enthusiasm. I would like someone to lay all the stuff out then clear up after me ideally! Your vases look great - very impressive.

This is Nish's idea on how to make a boring ordinary glass vase in a new style. I have one vase and I also want to make it an ancient Greek amphora according to your example: chalk paint and acrylic paints, in a light coffee shade. Thanks for the idea. They all turned out great...the second one is my favorite..great colors!! Suggestion: when i do these kind of projects i use a lazy susan, helps me to see all sides.
You can make chic candlesticks from champagne bottles, I saw how the top of the bottles was treated with ra, melted wax 🕯candles with textured flows, the sticker was washed with water, and the bottom of the bottles was covered with gold plates, a blend. It looked as if these bottles stood in a pub and the sailors, by the light of candles inserted into these bottles, drank 🍺beer🍻, played cards, and life was in full swing. This decoration knows no bounds of imagination. Well done. Shining Nisha.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I’ve been willing you Nisha to get into this fantastic DIY project (I’ve been doing them for quite awhile - we share a love of crafting). You’ve done a great job and as you say there’s no right or wrong to them, if you get bored with the colour or style paint over it. Where did you get your acrylic paint pots from - I struggle to find them in the right colours where I live? My nearest Hobbycraft have a very poor selection, please help!? Keep at it Nisha and let’s see some more of this from you 😊

I think I will give this a try. I have a black and gold theme and repainted all my timber furniture black and added gold knobs. This technique with hints of black and gold would be great. My walls are a light gray as are my floors. Now I will be on the lookout for nice bottles. Thank you Nisha ❤

Loving this Nisha, I can see this on some beautiful planters that would cost many hundreds of dollars to buy. May I suggest you purchase an inexpensive plastic turn table. You could cover with plastic wrap and dispose the wrap after each project. It would make this project so much easier I think.

I Love them! I love doing crafts too! I do a variety of them. I’ve just started making a junk journal for my daughter. She is getting married in Ireland and also doing her honeymoon there. I thought it looked like a great idea for that occasion. I’d never heard of it before. It seems like something you might like it also, you should check them out. Happy crafting! ❤

Thanks, Nisha. Loved this diy video and I think I will give it a go. I also am impressed that you did all this work in good clothes! I wear an old shirt from my husband when I paint but I still manage to get it in my hair on my arms and even my old shoes. Too bad you had to use a nail file on that last one, perhaps there was some sand paper in Paul’s tool belt?😅 I think I will try one with drywall compound which might be what you call spackle, not sure.
