- Trout Fishing Spinners. In todays video I go trout fishing with inline spinners. I have not been trout fishing in a long time, so go easy on me. For those of you who don't know, I live in upstate Ny. New York Trout Fishing is a blast. We have rainbow trout, brook trout, brown trout, and even some huge brown trout being caught in Lake Ontario. I set out to a local Stocked Trout creek to try my luck and some Upstate NY Trout Fishing.

I went trout fishing for the first time this week. I loved it...good video
I remember this spot when the Bridge wasn’t there and where you stood in the beginning was under water and had 5 ft water fall

Beautiful Area
You should try the warm water outlet in Ontario behind Genna power plant. You can get some huge browns. After that try Maxwell Creek in sodus. There all over next to the lake.

Isnt that butternut creek right in Dewitt? I recognize the bridge. That creeks meh, only have had couple inchers nibble
In fear of spot burning... I'll say its not butternut or chittenango, but its the other good creek in the area. It's stocked twice a year, so if you get to it at the right time you can get 14+ inch browns, and rainbows. I should have a video coming soon where I go trolling on Ontario for some giant lakers!
Can't beat panther martins,small marabou jigs under a float and even sweet corn (canned) works really well....im guessing this is up north maybe? I fish the southern tier but same fish/methods either way....
I'm no trout guy, but I can muster up a fish or two. Bass fishing is my thing. This creek is in CNY. Thanks for watching!
@@TheOutdoorDude your welcome and not really a trout person myself but I have been getting into it more here where I live the browns,Rainbow/steelhead fishing is really good and they get huge...more of a pike and bass Fisher person reallly....gotta live the salmon in my area to though

I love limestone creek recognized those spots instantly as I fish them often. Good video but you filed fishing 101. Cast upstream reel down.

Yea he better be taking me on that boat sometime this year too lol. Kentucky lake was a blast and learned a lot from that tournament. Im definitely down for a collab, even just fish and get something. Usually after bass on the yak and trout on the fly.

I’m in the same boat as the other guy, lower Hudson valley. I’ve been going to Long Branch this year but want to make my way back upstate near Pulaski hopefully this season. I just need an area code for hints.

Nope, but I'm not opposed to it. I just haven't made it down there to fish. I did see a metal band down there once.

Do I need some license or paper work for trout fishing in Nyc?
I'd imagine you need a basic fishing permit from New York State. As far as special permits or licensing for fishing in NYC, I have no clue. Good luck and Thank you for watching!

over in my neck of western NY we use trout magnets early in the season
I'm more of a Bass guy than a trout guy. But, I'll fish for anything if it bites and fights. With that said, I'm not the most educated trout angler. I just like to fish and make videos. Better trout videos coming soon. I have a buddy on some big Lakers and he's been asking me to come out.
