Man I remember growing up in St. Louis until I was 15, and my lord are rabbits EVERYWHERE. Each and every home had a nest or 2 in it’s yard. You could literally never go out and not see one. I loved it. Only part we didn’t like about it was things like this, my neighbor ran over one and it splattered all over the side of the house, and he felt absolutely awful. It’s unfortunately a hardly avoidable situation. I always made sure to go through my yard and disturb each area to let them know I was there, and they would move before I came through with the mower. That was how I made sure to never run over one. The gray whitetail rabbits were always the ones I came across, and here in Florida where I live now I can hardly find any. I love rabbits, I miss seeing them everywhere like I did in St. Louis.
Lol dude Spencer I had the same exact thing happen to me the other day bro mowing this giant overgrown clients lawn. It was rough and looked abandoned honestly. I seen these little ferrets or something racing around in front of my Ferris 52” stander. Now mind you the grass was like over waist high so I cud barely see. I went to hop off my mower and Holler at my buddy who’s on a sit down cruising around mowing wit me. The min I turned around to hop off there was literally the biggest copperhead I’ve personally ever seen, like right at the base of my platform so I spun around quick and put em in front of the deck. Freaked me out like bigtime, cause my focus was on not running over them ferrets or bunny’s or whatever was running all over man boom 💥, dang big old Jessie trying to get me. So I dropped her down to like 2” and turned em into hibachi 😂
A rabbit ha ha ha, at the golf course that work at u would be mowing and see wild turkeys or deer 🦌 flying sqarrels or red fox 🦊 running across the fairways in the morning time ha ha ha...
