I really enjoy these start to finish videos from you, Gayle, Luise and others. You three are so different in your approaches. Gayle makes masses of ephemera with just a journal concept in mind, you go page by page (more my style) and Luise….well she boils her journals. All three methods create beautiful results. So much variety, endless possibilities. Thank you, Barbara.
I always prefer process videos rather than flip-throughs, I like the thought process, the oh no’s and the work arounds! Feels more like we are side by side, working together! 💕🇨🇦
Yes, please make another showing the rest. Your 'oh no' moments always make me laugh, but even better is that you find a way to work through it and most of the time it's better than it would have been without the 'oh no' moment. Thank you for what you do 🥰
I love seeing "process videos," whether creating, embellishing, or making ephemera. One of these days, I'm gonna jump in all the way and actually do something myself! Yes. More of these please.
I like the these videos. I like to hear your thoughts about the process and learn new techniques. Side note-I LOVE how you edit your videos! I get so impatient when makers make me sit through long cutting sessions or basically make me watch their paint dry. So thank you so much for that!!
Thank you Barbara this is my favourite kind of video you do , no speeding up just crafting with you. You have inspired me to start one so I can craft with you on this project. You have cheered me up so much was not having a good week. THank you x
I share your need to make each journal an individual. Lots of creative people work that way. It takes longer, but it nurtures my spirit and makes the process more peaceful for me. Your style and instructions are nice! Thank you for sharing.
Hi Barbara! Please continue to make more videos like this. I love watching your process and I am trying to make a journal just like this one. Thank you so much for always inspiring me to make or work on a journal. 💕❤💕
Yes please more videos of you creating and the process. We love arching you as you make and listening to you as you go thru your steps. And of course we love your “OH NO”! ‘S. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I would very much like another session like this sweetie ❤ I love it, it inspires me and I love the more slow pace and to just have the feeling of keeping you company ❤
I definitely enjoy watching you craft and think. When you 'professional' creators share that with us, it makes the junk journaling adventure seem more attainable 😁🥰
The lace with the vintage paper is such a lovely combination. Love the little safety pin and I think it looks better crooked! You are so brave to put a whole row of buttons on the belly band. I'm such a hoarder of my buttons I couldn't do that. I love these crafting sessions. Please keep doing them!
love watching your ideas come to life as you make. them each page; prefer MUCH MORE than flip throughs. Making. mistakes and then finding works arounds to correct them is very inspirational. Please don't stop this journey......💟💟💟
"Ohhh, noooo...(insert chipmunk giggle here...)". I love it!🥰 I love your real giggle too. And who doesn't love the "Oh, no"s? I enjoy this type of video. I love it SO much...I watched it twice. I may have fallen asleep near the end the first time.😏 Not because you're boring...not at all! Because you're so "chill" & soothing. You make me feel all warm & cozy.💗💗💗 More, please.💖 Love and blessings.💙💙💙
Hi Barbara!!! ❤❤❤ Please, more sessions like this one! I love them! They entretain me so much and I always learn a lot! Thank you so much! Have a wonderful weekend! ❤
Barbara, love to watch you create things, you’re so inspirational. I enjoy creating along side with you. You give me ideas and the “oops & oh nooos” gives me warnings to stop before I make the same mistakes.😊 😅 Love you so much, please continue showing us your process in making junk journals.❤❤❤
❤❤❤ This is my favorite kind of video. The pace is easy to follow and I feel like I’m visiting with a cherished friend. Your “OH NO” moments just remind me to not panic and work through the issue.
Definitely live the sessions vs simply the reveal. The creative process you go through is so informative and inspiring. Thank you so much and can’t wait for the next episode!
I enjoyed watching you work through your journal because I kind of get stuck trying to figure out what to do with mine. Thanks for the inspiration Barbara ❤
Each journal you make on UA-cam has such an original and creative feel. I don't think mass-make is your style at all, and your fans love that about you,
I can’t get into the mass making either. I create as I go., to me, just my personal opinion, each journal I make I feel has its own character, even if I have some premade things in my stash it never seems “quite right”. so what’s the point in pre-making things. I make as I go. That’s just me. As they “you do you”. lol
Yes please!! 💕 I love these types of videos! I actually do craft with you when I am watching them. I learn so much when I see the full process, you do such an amazing job of breaking down each step and decision. Even when you are working through problems with the design it always gives me insight on how to tackle some pieces that I have put aside. Now that I have worked through a few problems of my own I am going to brew a cup of tea and watch again! 🥰Thank you Barbara for everything you do! Blessings from Texas! ❤
I think both styles of videos have their place. I think it's nice knowing you also struggle at times for ideas, and showing how you work through that in the "Craft with me" videos - complete with your oh no moments!! (my cats looked up at the screen at that 😂) is encouraging to us to watch your process and very relatable!! But if you're killing it with ideas, just doing a final flip through is ok 😊
Liebe Barbara, ich genieße diese ehrlichen und authentischen Videos, also von mir aus mach gerne noch weitere. Es ist doch super interessant wie du deine Seiten fühlst, und nicht zu vergessen, dein Ohhhhh nooooo....❤
Love all the vintage goodies and how the stamps add the perfect touch. I like watching you choose elements and talk through the thinking behind those choices. Helps me be more thoughtful in my choices!
I’m with you Barbara! I cannot mass make as my journals are personal for the person I’m making for or for myself. It may take me more time but I enjoy the process and often use the time to pray for the person I’m crafting for❤️❤️
Yes, I enjoyed your uncut video, along with its 'oh no' moments. The beautiful lace and beautiful ladies are >what can I say but, beautiful 😍 Can't wait for the continuation....!
I like creating alongside of you - so please continue with these types of videos. Your ideas help me to figure out what I should do with my journals. You are definitely an inspiration.
Definitely want to see more!! I love when you do journals start to finish! It's looking beautiful so far, and it really does make me less scared to do this when I see that little mistakes are inevitable and FIXABLE!!
Barbara, I absolutely love your videos. You are so clearly having a good time and you take us along for the ride! I can definitely identify with your need to do each page individually. I also work that way. Please, more videos like this.
I love these sorts of videos as this is exactly as I work.Usually a double page at a time.I take my time & really enjoy the process.Hugs from Australia.
I take the opportunity to craft with you during these kinds of videos. I like them a lot! 😊 I really like how you build your pages. Especially the flip out one, with peeks of things going on under it. 😊
Yes,please finish this journal and do more of this kind of journal constructing. One of my favorites of your tutorials is when you took a children's book and created beautiful ehemera from it. Update with a new tutorial and journal using a children's book makeover.
I absolutely Loved watching your thought process!! It helps me troubleshoot my areas where I get stuck!! I’m obsessed with lace!!! I wish we had a charity shop or somewhere local to pick up vintage and antique lace!! It adds so much to a project! Thanks Dawn
