Ryan Keshet i went to sch with a lad with Tourette’s and he never said anything he always made certain sounds, did things with his head, or clapped really loudly, but after the first week at school he could clap when the room was silent and no one would hear it, nor notice it, his ticks lessoned as he got older, but once you know you don’t notice at all, same with a stutter, xx

I dated a guy with Tourettes and he had the kind where he swore all the time. It was the best date I'd been on a long time. We went around swearing at a people and had a blast. Period pains got me but as an epileptic I can say living with a debilitating disorder where you are instantly put in the spotlight when you just want to walk down the street or eat a nice meal in a restaurant is horrible.

I just love people with tourettes. I wish I could tell them all how much I think they're great and awesome. They're condition can be the perfect medicine sometimes.
