- How To Shuffle Large Cards! If You Have Small Hands! -Quick Spirit Tip/Trick!
This just came up in the comments! It happens a lot! People have small hands and even if you have large hand some cards make it difficult to bridge shuffle or overhand shuffle and you don’t want to strain your hands! Here’s quick tip/trick to make it so easy!
Easier to show than explain!
But you shuffle sideways! Shuffle Cards Sideways and Push Together
Then for overhand shuffling you now do that top/bottom not sideways!
(So no hand straining to try and wrap around cards!)

This is fantastic. I do have small hands & have to often shuffle lengthways instead. So I think it's important that you've given this tip to ppl so they don't have to struggle trying to stretch their hands, when they could get the same result by going the easy way round so to speak. 🙏💖🦋

1:42 this saved me. no idea how i did not think of this. i was force shuffling them like u would with playing cards and i was gettin frustrated and also my hands were getting minor blister-like feelings from the rough edges haha

Oh thank you!! I have always split shuffle on the side but I didn’t think to do the other shuffle with my hands holding the smaller width!!
So, when i do that shuffle the cards clump together and I can’t get a nice flow. Will that come with experience? I am only new. Do I sit with my cards and just shuffle while watching tv to get better and smoother?
Yes the usual way is best..I only use shuffling short way with really large cards.
I do tend to shuffle my new cards a lot so they become easier to work with the more you use them.
Also keep in mind some paper stock is better than others too! Some of my decks never get easier to work with!

Please can you help me as I am dyspraxic and with very small hands please can you advise me the simplest method for those with dyspraxia.
You can try spreading cards on table and moving them around to mix them up to shuffle.
And/or
You can try also just lay the cards on the table and just pick ones randomly for your reading
And/or
Try to shuffle over hand or just move cards between hands back and forth to move them around a bit
And/or
You can experiment with above and come up with a new way that is most comfortable for you and it will work!

My cards aren't durable plastic; how would you recommend I shuffle to preserve their integrity? I've ruined too many decks doing bridge shuffles.
I would just shuffle cards overhand not bridge shuffle.
I do that way often for cards that are not as strong or ones that just will bend too much when doing bridge. Some cards are more thin.
Still doesn't work for me, my cards seem to be very stiff and difficult to bend along with being quite big, so instead of the cards fluttering down they all just kinda go down in a big clump :(. They seem to be more similar in size to the first deck of cards you picked up, and I also have quite small hands. How do you shuffle those ones?
Have you tried just overhand shuffling on the narrow side/end of cards!!? That’s what I do with cards like that. Hope you find a way that works!

I was expecting larger cards. These aren't large.
