The old man interaction, in the middle of nowhere, on a road he has probably cycled his whole life, is just pure love and humanity. Something special in today’s world that warms the heart. Innocence and curiosity at its best.
It made me a bit sad when she said do svidanya, because that means "until we see each other again" and I highly doubt that this old gentleman will have the luck or the time to see Noraly again...
I've formed a new habit; wake up, make coffee, look for new Itchy Boots video. I love so many things about this series; excellent narration, great imagery, a wonderful ambassador for us all to these remote areas and most of all, a window into some truly magical places. Thank you Ms. Boots!
Totally, same here. I open my computer to work from home, right now I checked CoronaVirus figures and I watched one or two videos. Noraly puts a smile on my face that won't go away for the duration. GORGEOUS is the master word for everything about what she does and who she is.
Your interactions with people all over the world has not changed at all! This is yet another fantastic ride in beautiful countryside. It’s fun to return to these early episodes as a reminder of where you’ve been and how much you’ve accomplished! Thanks for continuing to share your life with us! Ride safe Noraly!
Watching your series shows me humanity is well and alive even in areas that we were “told” to be a dangerous country. And handshakes are still the universal gestures! I enjoyed this tremendously and am looking forward to more videos, please be safe and good luck and God bless!
I like the fact that how humans with different languages & backgrounds are able to interact and communicate with each other. The people in this region are very kind, warm and respectful.
ITCHY BOOTS MARATHON…. Hi Noraly. I know this has been said before, but thank you for being a “World Ambassador” and bringing us all together by sharing your experiences and breaking down some of the misconceptions of other countries that some people are weary of. (Short Story…) I came across your channel quite by accident. After putting down a deposit on my new bike last Thursday, (a new 2019 Himalayan that will be showing up in three weeks’ time), I came home and that night, and I thought I’d search UA-cam for Royal Enfield Himalayan, and see what came up. Your channel was down the list a little ways, so I caught one of your episodes, and I was HOOKED! Since then, I have watched every episode from day one until I finally got caught up with your latest today. By the way, the second motorcycle I owned, was a 1954 Enfield Bullet, I bought when I was 16, 50 years ago. (My first was a 1947 Royal Hudson I purchased at age 14). We have all kinds of abandoned railway lines here in Nova Scotia and Cape Breton, and I can’t wait to go exploring them again, (and like you, I enjoy my own company and camping in the woods). I can’t wait to get back in the saddle again! For those of you (oldsters) who read this, remember, you’re never too old to get on a motorcycle. STAY ACTIVE! DON’T sit at home and stagnate. Live your life to the fullest like our young friend here. Thanks again. Doug in Nova Scotia, CANADA (My apologies for the length of this post)
ich bin fasziniert von deiner Reise, deinem Mut, deiner Freude, deinem Selbstbewusstsein ! Das was du da machst, ist außergewöhnlich ! Mit großer Freude schaue ich deine Videos :) Alles Gute weiterhin! LG Andreas
These episodes riding along the Afghan border are some of my most favourite. The breathtaking scenery, lovely people and just the shear remoteness of the journey just blows my mind. Watched these once already but still enjoying a second viewing.
Noraly, you are doing what many of us only dream about doing. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. We have a lot of unique and varied riding conditions across the United States without having the language barrier but will never get to experience the hospitality of strangers like you do.
Noraly you almost showed us the map with your full journey so far. Please feature the whole map and put the whole trip so far in perspective for us, it’s amazing and worth displaying occasionally. I really enjoyed you mumbling a few words with the old man, you totally made his year. His family will think he’s crazy when he explains you. I’m also laughing at the roads that a month ago you would have commented on them being a little rough, now the broken roads are just normal for you and that’s a little funny. Your still my hero, damn gotta wake early now to be in the first 15k to watch your videos. Congratulations your the newest and most interesting UA-cam star.
I poked my nose in your Facebook page but to be honest I prefer the videos. I’m kind of sad I saw the freezing road picture and now get an idea of what’s coming up, spoiler alert. Don’t even listen to me your doing amazing.
Your videos made me think beyond cultural, religious and ethnic barriers. We all are one with IT. In Sanskrit that sense can be transcribed as Tatvamasi (तत्त्वमसि).
From a little Island in the Caribbean (160 Km. x 56Km) , Puerto Rico , I hope that you stay safe and keep up with your incredible benevolent and happy attitude....
Wow, the road is quite difficult to go through, full of rocks. There re still some countries that far behind from infrastructure development. But they are rich in courtesy and honesty. Simple life but rich in happiness. Thanks Noraly for ur beautiful journey, teaching us a lot👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Whenever there are kids on the side of the roads you are traveling on its almost if there are small angels along the ways guarding your travels and looking over you. Spurring you on. They are so so friendly
Am from Afghanistan i love my land but are lucky to breath that fresh weather there even am jelouse of you going there and i have never saw these places dying to go there and your videos gives me energy and refreshment enjoying it its 3:36 in Berlin and i have to wake up at 9 to go to worl its all because of you maddam 😬 and you know i cant stop watching 🇦🇫🇦🇫🇦🇫🇦🇫❤❤❤❤
My heart is filled with happiness every time i watch your ride and seen you arrived in every destinations. Your way of life and perspective in every situation and towards people i think you gained it all from your experience.. Such a great achievement! You've come a long way and what you're experiencing are priceless! Thankyou for sharing your happiness, you did it! It's so infectious 😊🤣
i dint want to add another comment thinking it might be just another comment in the list but your videos or pure solace . it makes people wanna get on the bike and see the world. Not just itchy boots but itchy and exploring souls. Thanks for your videos. very inspiring.
Even after this many episodes..one thing is a class apart..which attracts again and again..." Good morning internet". Its so refreshing....you are the real "Basanti".....
I' m waiting for a Himalayan with the 650cc Engine. The 400 cc ist a great Bike Offroad, but If you ride mostly Onroad, it would be nice to have more Power.
Did not know a 650cc is coming single or twin, I know they are doing a trials version which I like the look of, but I do distance and it is mixed terrain so it will be the Himalayan as I am six foot so a taller one would be nice.@@markobrien5293
@@Nickwillfixit Dont hold your breath on that 650. It will take atleast an year maybe more. They will have to redesign the whole frame to accomodate the twins
SuperB! All your movies till now. You give us an amazing view how these countries are. After we all have overcome COVID, Tadzjikistan is already on our bucketlist.
Incredible scenery, the Alps of the East. Thank you my lady. You are such a brave lady. I wonder if the rocky road is made just for you. I could hardly see any body on that long isolated road. Your Basanti is such an obedient machine. Royal Enfield should have sponsored your world’s trip. You have given them a free priceless promotion of their strong & robust motorbike. Mr CEO of Royal Enfield, pls consider my plea to support our wonderfully strong and brave lady. She is an inspirational to all of us !
Wow! Snow capped mountains, rocky mountains, a valley, a huge river, gravel and dirt twisty roads. Man that’s one fantastic adventure ride. It’s just beautiful, exciting and fun when you combine everything into an adventure ride.
the scenery and the mountains are spectacular anyone watching your videos will want to get on there bike or get a bike and explore this beautiful world we live in .
I am impressed to see the communication In different languages through her videos. She seems to learn enough to get by in every encounter. It takes a special kind of mind to learn a little bit of many languages. A talent that I surely do not have.
I just love the way your voice lights up when you are saying, "Hi", to all the people. What a great ambassador on two wheels you are! Safe travels to you!
Ahh I can,t get any work done, just binge watching try to catch up to the present day, absolutely love this channel from the first episode, it has given me so much pleasure. This is when the word awesome actually means awesome.
What a beautiful ride and beautiful friendly people. I cant help but watch this and wonder if I would get the same reception from the people on this journey as you have as a middle aged American male. Actually for most of this I wouldnt be too concerned except for going through Iran. Its a shame you couldnt go theough part of Afghanistan. Once again, beautiful land, and beautiful residents.
So good to see this part as I got so sick from too much vodka ( my first taste ever ) I could not be with our group that day .🤣.However we went across the border and traveled from the Afghanistan side of Wakhan 🙂
Why only 12K likes!!?? Wonderful people moments and the views were breathtaking! Beautiful examples of the snowline. Always amazed at your ability to communicate and the ease with which you do it. These are parts of the world I know very little about but they are absolutely compelling. I'm getting a great education!

Noraly, my wife and I just finally caught up with all the videos. We love your video style, just about the right mix of road scenery, cultural and historical experiences (could always be more of that), travel info, and issues you deal with. I try to do about the same with my travel videos. Well done, only problem is now we have to wait for each new episode and can't binge watch an hour or two at a time. And don't forget to standup on the pegs more like Peter taught you, best way to get through the tougher sections.

The western media brainwashes you to believe those countries are dangerous. Look at what they did to Qatar during the 2022 world cup.
