It's so funny that getting an update from Noraly has become a daily feature of my life. It's like getting a call from my young daughter from abroad. I am always looking forward to hearing from Noraly, and sort of worried about her safety just like my own daughter. Noraly is such a darling! God bless her and I wish her a safe and happy riding! Way to go Basanti!!!
Every morning during the CoronaVirus pandemic I'm watching at least one of your videos, Noraly, and immediately as I begin watching, I feel a big smile materializing on my face and staying there the entire time. Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!
Mis en place , yes. Noraly portrays an innocence and treats everyone with humility and compassion. She has a wonderful spirit of adventure and amazement that is compelling.

Always keep your attitude Noraley...such a polite interaction.. especially speaking to the unknown person without knowing their language...always beautiful in giving respect and taking respect and love...keep it up..
Wonderful videos! I spent 2003-2005 in Tajikistan. Made the drive to Khorog and further north to Murgab about five times. Amazing scenery. The Japanese and Turks had begun paving the road between Dushanbe and Khorog back then working in both directions from Khalykum if I remember correctly. Looks like they never finished it. Most desolate stretch of road I've ever driven is that from Khorog to Murgab. From Murgab you can push on to the Fergana valley and Kyrgyzstan, making a loop to Osh then proceed on to Khojand and back south to Dushanbe. Keep up the great videos and be safe, Itchy!
Another amazing day in the life of Itchy Boots! It has been so rewarding to return to these early episodes of Noraly’s adventures and watch them a second time. The scenery is simple breathtaking and the people are so friendly and genuine. Ride safe Noraly!
I can feel Basanti vibrations whenever you start your day. Good to see you riding across geographies and sharing with us your travel memories. Keep going Norali, and say big hi to Basanti 😍
reading her book for the moment, and had to rewatch this episode, as the encounter at 03:57 is, for me, the most Itchy Boots it can get. they seem to have been such lovely people. and Noraly is her ever heartwarming self. all time great moment in this series

I like how peaceful, amazing, pollution free, plus free from the hectic life of modern days the scenery are. Thank you Noraly. Hope you and Basanti be healthy and keep riding ❤️
Look at that view of that little restaurant at 5:50, most five star restaurants and hotels would kill for a view like that. Amazing, just amazing must be even more great to be there and have that trip.
I almost fell from my chair, laughing, when I heard the word 'OLIEBOL' coming out of your mouth. All the way from Tadjikistan. Only Dutch people will relate to this. Take care with what you eat!
Very unusual that along the hi-way, someone stop you to offer tea. Residents here in ...stan countries are so kind and friendly. I cannot imagine why there was war between them? To all residents of ...stan countries, may Allah bless you and your future generations.
Nori my dear, you made me crazy to watch ur riding progress. Good god! U r doing great. Every day when praying , pray for you and ur safety. Keep it up my lil girl. Ride safe . Goeden morgen! Jij ben echt een dapper vrouw 👍 ik ben een Afghaans en woonachtig in Nederland sinds 1997. Mooie video’s, bedankt voor het delen van dat all videos 👍🙏🏼
You will never find anywhere you been stopped to be offered tea and food except in the east part of the world! Never seen a westerner stop stranger to offer him/her a food. Something, many people don’t appreciate it
Actually, that's not true. I traveled all over the USA and Canada back in the 80s and I was offered to dine with total strangers and their families numerous times while in rural areas. Good people are everywhere.
I backpack in the US, a lot! I’m on foot traveling 1000’s of miles for months at a time. I have not only been stopped and given food and drink but taken into peoples homes and offered the use of their vehicles. They expected nothing in return. As I travel, (especially on foot) I am astounded at people’s openness and generosity. It is the same all over the world no matter where I’ve been...we all want the same thing...the ability to live peacefully and to take care of our families and our community.
I don't understand why you would make such a remark. Noraly has been cared for in every place that she has been. Just as others have been as noted in comments.
Again and again and again, wonderful Noraly, what you encounter is lovely, giving people. Your videos should be mandatory viewing by those who are employed in federal governments throughout the world. Especially ours in the US!
Some day when you write your book I'll buy the first signed copy. 😉 More glorious scenery, and that tea break was a phenominal location. Although, I too would have been hesitant to walk into that caged area. 🙂
I first found you in S. America. Then I began my adventure with you in Season 1 episode 1 and in each of the now 70+ shows I wanted to dive into my ipad and scream DON'T GO TO PERU!!
When I Ride in new places I make an effort to stop at local small shops to support local businesses and have a conversation with random people......part of my Adventure...I enjoyed your stop at that little place next to the river!!!

Great videos, you've gotten me hooked on them. Enjoy your time in Tajikistan, and get ready for Kyrgyzstan, it's amazing too!
