I have two of these and I live in Florida. My cousin and I took them out in the gulf and thought it was a good idea to jump them it was right before a big storm so the waves where huge I had it in sport mode at just sent it 10 feet in the air! Landed it and then my cousin had to try and jump but let go of the throttle and it nose dived and he flew over the handle bars and landed on a jelly fish lol. That's my story have a good day

Last summer I watched a guy jump a barge wave he flew about 30 feet into the air when he landed he smashed his face into the handle bars and his foot got stuck in the foot well twisting his foot 180 degrees. He was unconscious floating down the river we raced over and pulled him into our boat and called 911 for help. Months later he came and found us to thanks us for saving his life, we all enjoy the water and always helping each other in time of need. Stay safe out there they are making PWC so powerful you can easily hurt yourself!!!

ive had this model for one year now, it rips hard and ive had no issues with it
I flew off on this thing yesterday. Never ridden anything like it when I went to top it out in choppy water It just flew out of the water and I was gone. Body is sore hit my head hard and sprained my foot. This thing is not a joke
I bought 1,,,well over 30hours on it. Super awesome and very comfortable to ride, not bad on fuel depending on how u drive. Dislike the non adjustable mirrors and the water has no where to go in the running boards, if you don't dry it it will damage the foot pads. Other than those two..great machine
That launch mode is crazy! I didn't think it would make that much difference. Launch control in a Sea-Doo..... what is the world coming to....

I rented one of these a couple times to ride on the river in my town and I fell in love with theae machines and now cherish the dream of getting one for myself one day
When using launch control, when it trims up after you hit a certain speed it trims to whatever you have your trim set to. I noticed you had yours in the middle..... try setting it up to the top and your acceleration above 23 or wherever it trims up at will be a little bit faster....

I hit 107kmh on mine yesterday, turned by accident and it threw me off 50 feet. I am now stuck in bed with 2 bruised ribs, a messed up knee, neck pain and back pain. Can't wait to get back on the water!
I just got mine in March (in yellow) It is a beast. The whine of the supercharger and the pull from any speed to 70 mph ish is insane. The RXPX does carve way better but does not accelerate as fast.
Is there a way to remove the speed limiter?

Check out a kit set jet boat from New Zealand. Idk if it technically qualifies as pwc. Pwc sounds like a fancy acronym for something stupid like when people call lifevests pfds.
Anyway, it’s a metal boat you weld yourself, plans available online, and then you provide our own jet ski engine. They are indestructible and just about illegal for how fun they are

Yamaha Fx for sure i have a 15 fx and my friend let me ride his rxtx with the new hull and it was night and day difference the rxtx was so bumpy and the power wasnt anywhere to be found
@@alexbrand7181 everybody says seadoo is smoother riding than Yamaha due to deeper v hull. My FX HO smacks hard in 2-3 foot waves ...thinking of testing an rxp-x 300 this weekend.
@@hines862009 yea if u ride a seadoo it is awful it is so bumpy, but i do agree the fx, mine is a svho but i dont think they changed the hull and really the fzr is more smooth than the fx for some reason
It is like the eternal ford vs chevy pick up truck discussion. There is not a clear winner. The BRP's have slightly more power, but it doesnt really matter at such a high speed/power anyway. I've heard that yamaha will allow you to tune it up better and cheaper. I got a GTX 300 and I just unlocked the speed limiter. It gets around 76 MPH, it probably has another lock since it still has a ton of power left.. but, why would you like to go faster? Oh and gas... jeez, it empties the tank very quickly!

That’s stupid as shit lmao. 100KM/H is as fast as you need and you have about 20KM more after that. And you are almost never going that fast anyways.

We have a 2008 259X Ultra with a few tricks. The deeper Kawasaki hull is super for the fresh water of the Great Lakes

@@neal5186 I'm not sure exactly. But the deeper hull is better for chop or off shore like Lake Erie where most of the time we are limited to 25-35 mph on rough days. But when it flattens out 70 mph is no problem with 2 up on our Ultra 250X.

Hi, Love watching your videos. I would like to hear your opinion. I am planning to upgrade my ski and i am debating between 2019 Seadoo rxtx 300 and 2019 Yamaha FX Cruiser SVHO. Which ski is more stable, handling, quicker in your opinion. Thanks
Anyone else think it’s a good idea to wear a PWC helmet when riding at speeds like this? I’ve only driven a seadoo once and the thought of falling off was terrifying. Stones can skip water at much slower speeds. I hate to imagine what a rider falling off the machine would experience with no helmet or PPE

I just bought this machine and went straight to the lake to give it its first use, I’d would go over 60mph and it takes much longer than 4 sec to get there, tried in sport mode. Does this has to do with it being 0 hours? Will it get faster after a couple hours? I was a little disappointed as I bought a 2020 GTI SE 130 last week and I was hoping this one would be a lot faster but it’s not a huge difference.

Lights for boating laws?
Pwcs are not allowed on water after sunset. Florida allows you to be in by civil twilight (half hour after sunset)
Lake of Ozarks in Missouri allows it if you have lights on it.

Kinda sad that a 200+HP PWC can't go faster than 70mph. My dad used to talk these things up in the late 90's and early 2000's as the only things that could beat our '79 15-foot Glastron. That thing rocked a 175HP Evinrude 2-stroke outboard with a big prop while only being rated for 125. We reinforced the transom and STILL rebuilt it every 3 seasons or os. Our top speed was 72mph with 1 passenger and regular gear, so who knew what it would do stripped out with just the driver, but I bet you if we pushed to 200HP and just sliiightly more prop, we could probably do 80.
Meanwhile a 300HP supercharged 20k glorified water motorcycle would still be stuck at 69-ish.

Nothing happens, the steering doesn't go into the storage at all

@@rivett40 that's the strut that props the whole thing up, it weighs like 70 pounds on its own so you have a shock that forces it open like on a tailgate of an SUV

no. depends what you want. Th Yamaha GP1800R SVHO is master and quicker off the line .sure I'll get bashed but true. and 2 grand cheaper. but not as much storage and specs almost identical. except that ride system yaomaha came out with is better than ibr. One nice thing on this is the storage.. So you want a ittlemore comfort seadoo but the GP18005 SVHO has proven itself. In almost every way. They oversold the 300rxtx

Can anyone who owns a Sea Doo attest to their reliability? I'm in the market for a PWC and brand fanboys are rampant. I'm sure no matter which company I end up going with it's the same as a car... treat it right and maintain it and it'll last.
Your exactly right. I have a 300 and it has 470 hours. Runs like the day I got it. But I maintain it myself, religiously. Very reliable!
Never tried one of these things. Would love to. How do these things compare to a 2 stroke dirt bike in terms of fun? My 2 stroke ktm is a blast. Is a toy like this just as fun?
