FuelTech made the First 2024 Sea-Doo 325 Plug-N-Play standalone ECU | Fizzle Racing at Hydrodrags

Fizzle Racing’s new 2024 Sea Doo 325 came to us with a challenge: replace the untunable factory ECU with our FT600 ECU, and deliver it to Hydrodrags US National World Championships in 1 week!
On October 5th, 2023 the brand new PWC was delivered to the FuelTech shop and the clock was ticking. Within a few hours the OEM ECU had been replaced with our FT600 and the 325 was running, but we had to invest a lot of time over the remaining 6 days to fully understand the more complex CAN bus communication with the OEM dashboard, gauge cluster, and IBR module as Sea Doo introduced new protocols for the 325.
Our hard work paid off and the 325’s new integrated wideband O2 sensor made it easier to adjust fuel and timing. As the new model has a higher fuel pressure, 90psi, than the 300 model, 58psi, we had to reduce the duty cycle by about 20%. In our initial testing, we’ve seen 8,300 rpm at 15psi reaching 81 mph using 75% injector duty cycle. Not bad for a PWC with 0 hours and a full gas tank at Northern Georgia elevation! We took the new Sea Doo to Hydrodrags and Angelica ended up racing it!
The FuelTech FT550 plug and play harness is immediately available for the 2024+ Sea Doo 325 and it will use a FT550 ECU and one wideband conditioner NanoPRO to run the stock o2 sensor and a 3 channel OEM igniter module or a FuelTech SparkPRO-3 igniter module which is an improvement.
