Really good video! A lot of good information delivered in a perfectly understandable manner. The only thing I wish this video had were the prices of the two larger models.
Seadoo messed up on the cluster very badly. I am so freakin lucky that I purchased the 2018 GTX 230. I had no clue the 2019 was going to mess up on the cluster.
One more thing. Why didn’t they include the USB installed? The driver spent all that money and it doesn’t come with anything? I know the Limited Touring Luxury has it.
look at the earlier clusters, the 2004/2005 clusters were the best IMO ... simple, elegant, all the info you need. The new ones are too fancy for their own good, too many lcds that dont like sun, and once they fail its a thousands to fix all because you used it outdoors in the sun where its meant to be used. Im not sure why seadoo cant figure out how to make a simple cluster that lasts.

Great machine. I went with rxt x 300 red simply cause of launch control and my 2019 ram is longhorn (same interior as sea doo ltd) Ltd has cruise control. I added the boarding ladder, USB and storage compartment to rxt x 300. Launch is super cool .. Sound system is brilliant. Must have.
Besides the styling, it seems the gtx is the better ski. Seems like you get 99% of the performance of the rxt 300, but with an additional 25% utility in the gtx limited.
The trixx is the only logical model. The new RXT RXP GTX models are large boats, take a look at them on the trailer, they are genuinely massive. If i was seadoo, I would make a Spark in fiberglass with a 130/155 motor to cover more bases. Buying the large models is like going out to buy a new 1000cc R1 sport bike and coming home with a honda fit since its more stable and has a 1500cc engine. Just makes no sense. I dont see any normal people looking for jet ski fun buying the large models, just buy a boat.

Those silver and cow shit colours on the GTX Limited 300 are disgusting. Why doesn't Seadoo allow you to choose your own colours on their flagship jet ski. I would prefer red and black or anything but that silver and crap colour.
not very hard to add, put a 12v outlet in our 2010 RXP in the center console, it took all of 15 minutes. You can charge phones, inflate tubes, whatever is 12v and usb.
My 2002 Sea doos can go 4 hours and use under half a tank but it depends how you ride them if your doing a lot of tricks and stuff it’s not gonna get as good of mileage
KDH Vids that is a great question to ask me. Yes it is super charged and I use premium only. I don’t care what the Manuel says. All the mechanics I work with says “if it has a Turbo or Supercharged, it requires premium fuel 91 Octane or higher” 2018 Seadoo GTX 230 (Blue) One thing to add... the Yamaha riders are angry with me on the water. I don’t know why, they keep beaching their waverunners next to mines too close.

I still love my manual reverse lever, wont ever fail and if it does ... its a simple cable with a lever. The ibr is great but made for idiots, is it that hard to pull on a lever for the F N R settings ?? i mean its literally that simple. Now jet skis start in Neutral, eat up rocks, then the system fails... idiots hit the brake to submarine. Great system to have reverse and neutral on a ski, just made for the super lazy and for headaches.
When is the the carbon seal problem going to be fixed ? 2020 ? All these 2018 and 2019 sinking and still no recall. plus the motor mounts out of align and does not even have shims. BRP needs to get their s**t together before a huge lawsuit comes.

I had a Seadoo 260 RTX-X as....this thing had 260 hp with a 6 inch Suspension....i sold mine ....that will be the last 1 i ever get....that Suspension was the Cats Ass
My 2019 rxtx 300, 8 hours total riding and broke down middle of lake high engine temperature warning. Upon checking..zero coolant .. like not a drop in the tank, leaked inside.. bottom of hull. Tried to refill .. keeps filing the hull. Pipe came off back, so mad.
Same issue with mine, but only two hours ... there's a recall on the hose clamp, which comes loose from aggressive riding. They replace it with a stainless steel one and it's good to go. Another recall just came out on their intake grate, where the bolts need to be replaced because torque rate was discovered to be too low and grate can come loose over 55 mph. I love the ski, though ... very fast and very stable.

I'm running a 300 rxtx from last year, the only difference between the limited and it is a boarding step in the rear and depth finder along with alot of extra cash lol. I installed a custom race pipe with a tunner and cold air intake. All those bikes are nice though

@@zackm3827 all poor Seadoo fanboy. 600 hours on my Yamaha VX140 Cruiser normal maintenance not one issue 400 hours on Kawasaki 150 Ultra normal maintenance no issues. Enjoy Sea-Doos class action lawsuits for constantly breaking & sinking enjoy rebuilding the supercharger every 60-100hrs
pilot steve I mean I own Kawasaki and seadoo and have had problems with the plagued 750 cdi failure. Meanwhile my 95 xp800s and 96 HX have been rocking it for years. My hx using a fpp it’s like on rail. Although my 750 sts’s I bring for the family who like to cruise around. I think the oil injection system on rotax marine engines are bullet proof.
pilot steve.......I have two (2) 1996 models purchased new in 1996, and they are both still running. One lost a main drive bearing when it was ten years old, and the other one lost a starter. that is the only problem either of them have had. They BOTH are still running as of last year. We haven't had the opportunity to get them out this year!

Has the ibr issues been resolved? Seems like too many 2016 owners had ibr fail with in 40 hours of use.
