I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. You will see many different kinds of how-to videos here including makeup, hair, ballet workouts and exercises, Q and A sessions, lifestyle advice, and DIY on this channel. I got CHILLS when you said they offered you your contract! I am so happy for you and I am so excited to continue following you on your journey! It really does sound like a fairy tale, but it is so inspirational and I love hearing you overcome all of your obstacles.
It would be great if you could potentially do a video on dealing with hard times. I think a lot people can relate to going through YEARS of difficulty, dancers or not.

i remember going up to Ms. Lopez’s office when i was little, like when i was in level 1 and 2. I was 8 and i remember she also has a dog that me and my friend loved to play with. I’m in the ballet bus scholarship program. i’ve seen you in the rehearsals in the studios before my ballet class and i stand there and watch the rehearsals. Honestly your a truly amazing dancer and i want to say i’m very happy you got into the company.
Are they going to film your performances in slaughter and fire bird? Ones that could be put on DVD and sold by the company? I'd love to buy one!
They will be filmed but I'm not sure about making them public. It will be up to the Balanchine Trust (since both are Balanchine ballets.) But I will see what I can do!
I understand how hard personal/professional/ health struggles are and I can’t possibly imagine the pain and grief of the pst 9 years, but this story makes me so happy. I, too, have a few examples of great things that happened on the anniversary of something awful and though it doesn’t make it easier it redeems the day and somehow comforts me. I am so excited and happy for you. You truly deserve all you have worked so hard to achieve. 😀

I met Lourdes Lopez in the lobby of NYCB and told her I'd seen her in the mid-70s when she danced Tchai Pas with Peter Martins! This was in Baltimore. She was so pleased to hear that. This must have been around 1990 already and she was now a principal. She was extremely nice and I remember her warmly.

I am not a dancer and have no idea how your channel got recommended but I am so glad I watched. Your story is amazing and your dancing is just breathtaking. I had a great doctor who tested antibodies in my first test, but it is a miserable disease. Best of luck.

Been waiting for this!! So proud of you and your journey. Thank you for teaching me that my health and my symptoms are real, no matter how many doctors dismiss them. Glad to say I have fought for an appointment with a pain clinic after finally getting a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Thank you for teaching me that I am worth it. Really love your stories! You've been one of my biggest inspirations in the past two years and I'm not even a dancer. Or should I say I wasn't a dancer? Because I've been learning ballet as an adult for the past year and will start training again! I love that you are posting again and that you are back in a company and just your whole story, you look so happy! I would love videos on jet gluing your shoes, I know you have put short segments in videos but I would really like a dedicated video for where you should do it depending on you pointe shoes and feet, I would also really like a video on pirouettes and fouettes and how you get over fear of doing them as well as just general technique tips, I know you have done videos on them in the past but I would really like to see updated ones, or on developpes that would be really nice too! so happy for you :)
