  • The Alliance for African Partnership (AAP) established its African Futures Research Leadership Program to target early career women researchers from the 10 member universities to travel to Michigan State University (MSU) for one year to be jointly supervised by faculty members from MSU and their home institution in research for impact, writing of scholarly and/or policy publications, dissemination of research results and grant proposals.

    • Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources - Malawi
    • Makerere University - Uganda
    • Universite des Lettres et des Sciences Humaines de Bamako - Mali
    • United States International University-Africa - Kenya
    • Universite Cheikh Anta Diop - Senegal
    • University of Botswana - Botswana
    • University of Dar es Salaam - Tanzania
    • University of Nigeria, Nsukka - Nigeria
    • University of Pretoria - South Africa
    • Regional Network of Agricultural Policy Research Institutes - Zambia
