This is awesome, thank you so much for uploading this, I already have Weingartner's recording of Beethoven's 5th symphony with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in 1933.
This is outstanding in my view. I still prefer the LSO with Landon Ronald [on HMV, which you uploaded last year?], but that may be seen as a subjective opinion of course. I am not worried about the slight inconsistencies in the actual recording. It appears to have been recorded on two consecutive days, and a later make up session for the first part of the second movement. It would be a surprise if this did not disrupt the continuity a bit. Thank you for a fascinating chance to listen to this hardly [by now] known recording! Best wishes from George
