- In this week's Wednesday episode, Patrick and Stuart are back in the chateau entrance hall to install a mural of a beautiful early 18th century pastoral landscape painting. The breathtaking bucolic scene of the countryside was custom made to complete the large curved wall at the top of the chateau grand staircase. They also show visits to some local brocantes with friends Tony, Jane, Richard, and Eve and share their new purchases.

PATRICK DO HAVE A *DEVILED EGG PLATE*? I SAW GOOD SIZE BLUE OVAL ONE. HAS ROUND INDENTS IN IT To stand half eggs with filling as deviled eggs. NOT MANY PPL HAVE. Dear Patrick and Stuart, the mural wallpaper is perfect and stunning. The gray and soft blue tones in the sky is similar to the French gray paint on the moldings. It’s lovely!! I love the two master painters at work!!! Don’t ever give up even if the constant rain is frustrating. We are experiencing unusual amounts of rain also. Wall paper you just finished is perfect
Stewart and Patrick… I sat here and watched you put up that lovely wallpaper, then it transitioned both of you painting. My thought thought was, “ I am confused. I checked again the surroundings of the hall there and I realize wait a minute they are pretending to paint!” You tricked us and didn’t catch it right away. Patrick, your face as you looked out to your lap talking about the rain made me laugh. Why? We have had continuous rain here also, but thankfully, the last two days have been lovely with temperatures in the low 80s.
If I am ever so fortunate enough to visit, I must remember to keep moving or you all with sand, paint, or paper me...or hang chandeliers off my nose. ;-)

Aloha Patrick and Stuart and thank you for another enjoyable episode. The mural is perfect. Brocantes are fun whether you make a purchase or not but I don’t know about a two mile walk. Hope that was round trip🤣. Yes, the incessant rain can cast a damper on things,( no pun intended. )We’ve also had so many consecutive days of rain and it was sure nice to see and feel some sun again🌞🏰.
