There was so many awesome things you could do in battlefront 2. Lots of vehicles in the land battles, play as lots of the Jedi, FUCKING PLAY AS DROIDEKA WHICH WAS THE SHIT! I'd love to see a new remade version of Battlefront 2 but all the vehicles would most likely be used to spam and mow people down. (I know I did) I'm also willing to bet we won't be allowed to pilot the AT-AT again because that shit was op. Maybe if there ever was a remake, the vehicles would be nerfed to where they aren't as powerful? But this is just wishful thinking...

Yes, swbf1 actually has less bugs, but 2 has more content.

it's obvious he said the greatest and that is Bf2, unless you never played them and honostly think the 2017 bf2 is the second your so far wrong it doesn't deserve a response, it is the 4th. EA kowns kids will think it's brand new but been around for years.

Well... I prefer the Tie Fighter of BF2 ( 2005 ). I just don't know why but the one from Battlefront ( 2015 ) feels... Blurry. But if we take Battlefront's II ( 2017 ) Tie Fighter, beats everyone without breaking a sweat.

Honestly speaking 2015 Battlefront is really fun and immersive game to play, I don't get the superb hate. The problem the game has is the small amount of map (fuck dlcs) and you cant get into vehicles seamlessly. I don't really mind the power up coins and jedis. I know it only has Imp and rebels, hopefully the second game can make it better.

Honestly the EA's BF is really immersive especially with those georgeous graphics and beautiful sound design. But the pick up system, the star cards, the leveling bullshit and the dlc are really annoying. I did enjoy the game tho with all his downsides. I truly hope they will make the second game an awesome game ! We shall see !
Battlefront 2 EA has really gone downhill. It's very hard to get loot crates and so you have to buy them. If you choose not to get loot crates, might as well give up on multiplayer. Though EA has turned off all purchases, those who pre-ordered have an advantage in multiplayer because they get loot crates for pre-ordering.
I think that's why the game is poor, even with the DLC the game still lacks content ,and gets very repetitive. The Rogue One pack was the worse yet, everything happens lightening quick, and the map is tiny.
I don't hate on EA BF, but the lack of content makes the game hard to enjoy, other then that it's a ok game.
I'm surprised how good BF1 & 2 looked on PC (still playing both original Battlefront's on an original PS2)

I remember playing bf1 as a kid on the ps2 and it was my favourite game ever. Then bf2 came out and blew my mind with all the stuff it had and how clean it looked, but I was kinda mad about the fact that there were no space craft on land maps like bf1 . Although when I found out that it was on PC with 1080p and even crisper gameplay and graphics I got super nostalgia. Then I just downloaded a ton of maps and even one on tattooing with land to space battles and a playable slave 1 and millennium falcon which I lost my mind at. Greatest movie to game series of all time.
How did they get Battlefront 1 and 2 to render at such a high resolution?

The 2004 Battlefront was the best and most entertaining game i have played, hopefully the new battlefront is as good.

To be honest, i dont think the original battlefront games would hold up today. Their gameplay is EXTREMELY repetitive, graphics are dated, very clunky controls, the games just arent as good as everyone makes them out to be. Yeah, they were fun to play as kids, but playing them now, its easy to grow bored of them fast.
EA's battlefront on the other hand i find to be VERY fun! Its one of my favorite games, it has AMAZING graphics, VERY smooth controls, and AWESOME level design both gameplay wise and aesthetics!
Id personally give battlefront 2015 a 9/10, i love it that much. The old battlefronts, they are only barely fun now because of nostalgia.

The Truth Bringer I'd say battlefront 2015 gets a 6/10. Solid gameplay, absolutely beautiful, but a lack of maps and variety. Fuck ea for the second half of the game being locked behind dlc. Luckily battlefront II looks to remedy this with all eras, more heroes, and way more planets. And even if it's half finished, free dlc so still a win. Only thing to do now is wait for a reviews to see how Mt affect the game and a black friday sale.

The TOW cable from the snow speeder in Battlefront EA is REALLY forgiving compared to the first two.
God I completely forgot that you’d just hop in starships parked on the ground in the first game.
The background from bf2 on hoth is in my mind still the best looking!

2. Battlefront 2004 (Enjoyable and straightforward) {No customization or first person or “hit count” and not enough put into it}
3. Battlefront 2015 (Best graphics and new content, “hit count” system and customization and first person) {Not as enjoyable and feel of the game isn’t as good}
4. Battlefront 2017 (I haven’t played yet but looks better than Battlefront 2004)

I actually liked Galactic Conquest (BF 1942 Mod) the most...
If you're honest about it, Battlefront is just Battlefield with star wars content. And Galactic Conquest was a free mod, which had all the stuff Battlefront 1 and 2 had later. Space battles and entering ships, land battles, epic maps... there even was a deathstar map. Most epic shit. Look it up on youtube... there even was a successor, First Strike.
Aight guys look. Yes, we all agree that the older ones were better than the 2015 Battlefront, but the 2015 was still good. The graphics were obviously better. The maps were obviously bigger. And it’s only a “lack of content” if you don’t have the ultimate edition. The ultimate edition was like $40 when it was released and now it’s like $30. Now yes it does suck that people had to pay more money than others if they bought it first.....that I can’t defend. But the game itself was good. You can’t deny that. And Battlefront 2 (2017) is amazing. Everyone complaining about micro transactions, yet they announced new content will be delivered via updates instead of DLC. So they are literally giving us free DLC and everybody still complaining. This is ridiculous. Just stop looking for the negative in everything and just play the game

Say what you want, but the battlefront games were so ahead of their time. No other game had the quality content, graphics, replayability, and fun packed into one disk. Pandemic Battlefronts will go down in history as the pioneers for action shooters.

This. With Pandemic gone, I don't think you'll ever see it done right. Nobody's going to get that original style down, because they're different people with different ways of doing things. Now a remaster or remake would be cool to see.

For all its flaws - and there are many - I like 2015 Battlefront and it did have some good qualities (like the diversity of heroes) but the biggest issue is it literally has no replay value now that Battlefront 2017 is here. Noone is playing it anymore. You can't log in & play the Bespin campaign or even do basic vanilla 40-player maps anymore. 2015 Battlefront is literally useless now even for those who would keep on playing it.

If you play battlefront 2004, 2005 on your PSP the graphics look like the inside of a sarlaac. This is my first time seeing it for like a console. I have to admit. It looks much better.
