One of the things I like about Aatrox is that he's the first darkin freed, the harbinger of this ancient doom. And on Tarrosh and the darkin balista it says that they are following the call of their general.

I mean as a totally not biased guy, Aatrox is still the strongest Darkin right? I mean he fucked over Pantheon, and is kind of literally a God Killer. I don't know much about LoR but to my knowledge only Aatrox has done that right?

@@mohgmohger1160 I'd like to say he is, he definitely has the most experience controlling people while trapped in the weapon, to the point that he can shape a new body on the spot, but he currently isn't shown alongside other darkin, in stories or in games. I think Nocky was saying that Xolaani was so strong cuz she can control other darkin, not because she could beat them, and that also might depend on the darkin, every darkin currently in game seems to be subservient to Aatrox, when the lore says they fell into infighting, so maybe Aatrox was strong enough to inspire loyalty in a few of his brethren and led them against Xolaani.
Not sure what my point was, but tldr Xolaani is probably spec'd into blood magic and can control darkin due to her mastery of it, while being not as incredibly powerful in comparison to other darkin
@@mohgmohger1160 This did not age well- yeah uhm idk if you followed the LoR card releases but Xolaani kind of possessed Mihira,the Aspect of Justice and defeated Aatrox (ofc this didn’t happen in the lore yet,it’s still a what if for now but that could happen)
Thing about Xolaani is that she has so much going on,and everything aside she is *_ALSO_* physically very strong,we see in one of Ryzes visions of the past Xolaani and Aatrox fighting face-to-face and it looked like a equal fight,and again that was before Xolaani quite literally became an Aspect in this "what if" scenario 💀

I would argue that she *mostly* looks like a Piltie: there's almost nothing about her appearance that looks in any way chempunky. Still, even if she is just a Piltie that's a massive improvement over... well. You know.
I don't like {redacted} no matter what they do to it. It does not belong in a game with demons and gods and dead people and ultra warriors and mages

I find myself listening to Camphor’s voice lines lately and noticed almost every line/interactions she has induces doubts, she’s dope!
The only thing that comes to mind for Kato and Shiraza is a swap champion. Basically, the two of them take up the same champion slot. But make it so the ultimate calls the other in to swap out with whoever you first picked at the start or the match [not sure how exactly that would work or get coded].
Echo fighter basically. Replace snowballs with knives, snowball with kato shoulder charging, etc
i dunno, theyre playstyle isnt tagging out, they work together, shiraza is the blade, while kato is the arm

@IZ01 no amount of money can do anything about how impractical it is to completely uproot fundamental gameplay mechanics for a single character, esp. when working with a decade-old codebase that was actively designed to _not_ include what you're trying to implement. like, champs like jhin and zeri might seem like they already do that, but that's really just smoke and mirrors. jhin just has fairly normal autoattacks and disarms himself for a bit after every fourth one, and zeri just has a wild autoattack modifier on her passive and a variant on yasuo and yone q to act as a stand-in for her normal autos. which is a p. far cry from something like, say, _literally making zeri play like a fps_ with the completely altered control scheme and everything
although honestly, that might actually be simpler than trying to implement proper multi-unit support into a game that permanently glues to you a single unit. like, y'know how tibbers and daisy and co. use a jank-ass control scheme that means they're stuck just being autoattackers and they barely function as even that? that's because league just straight-up does not have the mechanical infrastructure to support controlling units other than your main champion, so the methods to control those other units are actually you commanding your champ to command the unit to do something. and i mean, keybinds for stuff like cycling through your active unit while you have multiple selected literally do not exist in league, but _any_ micro system where units can have distinct active abilities practically requires that sorta thing or else nobody is going to bother playing with it because it's complete dogshit to control. which, uh, fundamentally means that even if they _did_ go to all the effort to tear the engine apart to insert a large number of completely new mechanics, ui elements, and control hooks for the sole benefit of one single new champion ( and i mean, i guess annie and peeps could get to use it, too. for their ... big minions that pop out of their ultimates to right click on people for a while ) ... any player that has already played a game of league would have to deal with starting their first game as the champ popping open the escape menu and figuring out where the hell they're going to place all these new buttons that they'll need to utilize the champ's core gameplay mechanic, which is not exactly the best first impression when said champion is _also_ demanding a highly technical skill that absolutely nothing else in league has prepared them for
i mean, ultimately, a gazillion dollars could also let you fund a project to start launching nukes at every other planet in our solar system. that _is_ something you could just throw enough money at and get it going, the only real obstacle is actually purchasing the resources to make and launch those nukes and, hey, you got those gazillion dollars just burning a hole in your pocket. and i mean, honestly? you'd probably get that into motion waaaaay sooner than adding mario to league of legends and having him actually straight-up play like a mario platformer. you'd be working from scratch with a clear project outline and no burden of technical debt to get into your way, after all

It was confirmed that demons do not truly die and regenerate over a lengthy amount of time. It was also confirmed in Nilah's release story that the ruination has been messing with magic and have an effect on demons. If Riot wanted to they could use this to bring Camphor into the game.
YESSS. Because they're energy. Like Evelynn didn't have a physical form until the Runic Wars but she was still existing. The Ruination got the demons in some sort of maniac mode, kinda got them high. With all the doubt that seeing the people you know and love being controlled by a spirit and doing some horrifying stuff, Camphor would get fed up with that much doubt from people she could very much come back. Amazing

@@crisendeep178 darkin were originally ascended it was battle against the void that drove them into madness and twisted their form. You can even still see some animalistic form in a lot of the darkin

Xolaani looks more like human is easy to justify. Since she's the one who created darkins with blood magic, we can assume, she can control this magic much better, and morph body as she wants.
Yeah when you consider the fact that Aatrox is constantly pissed that his body is just a bastardization of his old one it wouldn't really be surprising if the Darkin didn't like looking like Darkin and that the one that's the best at using their magic would look the closest to their original form.

for the clock golem guy they could just do VU Jax and Zilean with a new Icathia champion as one big Icathia update and have the minions be little clock golems. Hope they also do this for Ixtal add new champ and more lore building with some of the characters from Ixtal
A VGU for Zilean and that thing they did for Cait and Ahri would be perfect for an Icathian event. You just add the icathian golems as an APC or something like that and there you go
Okay, Xolaani looks just sick. Love the design, the voice, everything. Story sounds awesome. I really hope that she'll become a champion soon. We absolutely need a female Darkin. Also: White hair, massive sharp weapons, sleek armor and spikes is just a great combo. Camille is already my favourite champion in League, and Xolaani just takes it up to 11.
With Kato and Shiraza, it should kind of function like Cho and Gall from Heroes of the Storm

A cool mechanic for the disciple of Doran could something like Ornn, but instead of upgrading full items, they can upgrade the starting Doran items into full items as the game progresses.
God I love every time LoR gets recognition. It deserves it for being so high quality
22:19 she is definitely not the most powerful but the one with the most potential. Aatrox definitely beats her when it comes to power but her ability to manipulate Darkin is definitely scary.

There is actually good chance she got Wuju since rhaast takes on Kayn's wall phase. So it would be a very tough fight between the World Ender vs the World "healer" but I feel like Aatrox would pull out a win in the end if he got himself a proper host i.e Jax, Darius, Garen, Fiora, Riven, TRYNDAMERE, Atreus, etc cause the hosts he takes currently are just breaking down due to the sheer power aatrox has.
@@johnanderson3559 I don't think Atreus would be dumb enough to pick up Aatrox. Tryndamere on the other hand, no one (not targonian) understands what Aatrox's situation is like so there is definitely a chance of Aatrox losing on purpose to Tryn and I don't see him just leaving the weapon there.
@@johnanderson3559 Rhaast had spent plenty of time with Kayn it's possible he learned it alongside him rather than inherit it from its wielder. Xolaani instantly overtook Jun.
She took control of mihira, aspect of Justice, all by herself. Aatrox alone has no chance against her
@@mehdisilini7296 Pantheon was the strongest Aspect there is confirmed by The Warrior card in LoR. Aatrox would be stronger than Pantheon who is stronger than Mihira. IMO after fusing with Mihira is when Xolaani actually has a chance against Aatrox.

Hear me out: Sentitient Clockling. Who’s whole design is as he gathers material through the game, he gets more advanced until he’s like one of those big guys. I dunno how it would work, but I think it would be interesting
If Riot REALLY wanted to be hype around a champ release, just imagine if they teased Jun as a champion, like full trailers, concept art and all, and when it hits either PBE or live servers, new cinematic where she's corrupted and the real champion is Xolaani. Would be a bit like GP dying for his rework, but DAMN would it be hype
Kato and Shiraza would be such a cool champion pair! It would bring something unique to league's gameplay and also add to Noxian culture (possibly making Noxus look less evil in the process)

I will say with the darkin thing, and idk if this was said before, Aatrox is canonically the strongest just due to abilities alone (like murdering a god and deleting the god from the stars) and it’s hinted that he was one of the ones that could fully resist her power. But with the new Wuju powers she might be able to beat him in a fight, but that’s a might due to aatrox being the strongest darkin we probably know of. Can’t wait for the final part of the expansion where aatrox has a cult and new voice lines

I actually made an entire kit for Xolaani. I don’t know if it’s good or broken buuuut she’d be a melee support fighter
Passive: Xolaani instead of mana has the blood well. The blood well fills up whenever Xolaani damages an enemy champion. It does not go down in time and resets on respawn. Upon right clicking an ally Xolaani roots herself in place and begins emptying the blood well, healing an ally for the amount of stored blood 5% of the blood well each 0.5 sec. It can be canceled anytime. The maximum amount of blood well raises with level
Q: Xolaani stops in place for a short while and dashes in the aimed direction dealing ad damage. Upon recast she quickly dashes to the place where she first used her q, dealing damage to everything in the line
W: Xolaani swings her blade for 0.2 second to then swipe it in the targeted direction, stunning the target and dealing small ad damage
W passive: After first 1 second in combat blood well fuels 40% more effectively
E: Xolaani launches her weapons into two directions, one to the aimed direction and second one to the opposite. If only one hits the target the weapons come back. If one hits the terrain she pulls herself to the terrain. If one hits the target and the other hits the terrain she pulls herself and the target to the terrain. If both hooks hit the targets Xolaani swings them both and switches their places. Can hit minions
R: Xolaani shoots a bolt of blood magic dealing ap damage with ad scaling. If the target is hit Xolaani roots herself in place to bloodbend the enemy. The duration of the spell is 6 seconds. In that time that one enemy enters the berserk state. If Xolaani moves the ultimate is canceled. Xolaani also recieves less damage from the bloodbended enemy if there was nothing else for it to hit.
R passive: After casting Xolaani’s blood well’s healing is doubled for the next 8 seconds (that includes the 6 seconds of possible controling the enemy)

i'd love to see the maker and jhin's voicelines together, the music and sounds that work together in their gameplay, special voicelines when they use abilties together which if the makers abilities do or don't have good synergy with jhins, that works perfectly either way, we all ready know jhin loves asymmetry and either way it would be by technicality asymmetric. the maker is such an amazing champ in thought and i feel like i'd play it even if it were as bad a champion as ivern

Xolaani is really out here build like a self insert oc, targonian, daughter of an aspect of the protector so blessed with healing powers but not of the divine responsibility, inventor of hemomancy, ASCENDED, creator of the darkin forms, leader of the stronger darkin faction, like for gods sake she created vladimir, and now she is also a blademaster with wuju arts

What I really love about LoR is how versatile future sxclusive champs can be because they don't have to be restricted to what a MOBA should be.
Combat cook sounds like an amazing idea for a champ in league. No other champ is revolved around food, so having him would be perfect AND funny
I really want them to go more in depth with how Icathia fought Shurima. Maybe give Jax and Zilean more lore based on that time period. For Jax I feel like them maybe exploring how Jax was able to go to toe against Ascended and live. Or how he's still kicking even after thousands of years have passed since his nation's fall.
Like maybe he was the product of an attempt to create warriors just as strong as the Ascended, but the cost of these soldiers was too much, so they turned to the void instead.
Also I think that he should have some lines with Trundle just cus their both trolls (Jax is a Sand Troll btw)

The maker would be awesome as a support. Maybe its the E and theres a gangplank shop menu they can use a resource for to purchase and chose between 3 tools a one time use gun that maybe goes on the ward slot or something that the maker can also activate by re-activating E. The bird as a way to scout out an area like ashe or kalistas vision tools. and the flower that can take control over a minion, summoned unit or jungle mob if defeated or lowered.

Etherfiend has a form of the Vulture, which is a scavenger animal. Meat-Eater that doesn't actually hunt, but instead eats remains of bigger prey that Predators kill and leave because it's too bing to consume in one sitting. Why does it matter? Because Eitherfiend represents *Second Death aka being Forgotten*. So ye.. by Proxy Spirits can be forgotten and 'die' this way.. but it as a Symbolism it's SOOO MUCH MORE than grim reaper of grim reapers... Even the Skill that this card casts hints to that, named 'Second Death'
The maker could be a support that not just heals you, she could make your attacks stronger, and in her ult she would turn into a mage for some seconds and all her abilities would turn into offensive ones

As for the corruption of Jun. I'd say they got the balance right, 30/70 rule of mixing works well here like in treasure planet. The point of corruption is to mold a form that the darkin would like yes? I can't think of a form that would scare humans more than proving you can take even the kindest of healers and twist them to commit atrocities.

We can make combat cook a tank support with ability to heal himself or allies but in order to use skill to cook he gonna have to gather the meterial first by killing minnion or jungle camp

Now that I think about it, maybe the reason Camphor is in Targon is because of the Lunari, because they're an entire religion that originated from the doubt in the Solari Faith.

Tbh a thing i can see riot do (if they ever get the idea) is to make some of the characters on this list as kind of legendary skins for existing champions because the siluet and consept is similar, for example imagen the Clock Automaton as a skin for Mordekaiser, Legros as Leona or Chief nakotak as Lulu.

"this characters health bar is made up of 5 separate blobs/bodies with their own healthbars, if you kill xyz amount of minions you get xyz amount of health back"
you can hit each part twice or thrice before they die and you can regenerate them by killing monsters or dealing a certain amount of damage to a champion. you could have the ultimate be that every minute or so the champion can make new parts that arent permanent like the original 5 but you can stack them infinitely. to balance that out you again have them be always 2 shotable so there isn't a use in building tank items or resistances to make it harder to kill one part. that type of champion would be damage or utility based and could either deal loads of damage with high cooldowns or be like bard in twrms of kit where all of their abilities are utility based, wich would fit the lore for those automatons since they're essentially tools and you could use them as such in the game as a support or a jungler

I think why Xolaani's design leans more on Jun is because she possesses Jun's body & morphs it a bit to have her powers in comfort, basically not Xolaani's body.

From the Gray Legion, I think Noble Rebel also has some interesting story potential. Could be a cool use sending her against her own house, sometimes she almost remembers her family, and such.
And I'm going to once again mention my girl Arrel the Tracker here. Not only does she already have extended participation in the lore and a connection to Riven and the Black Rose, but she also left with a nice open ended "I have a quest to do here!" moment. And it would be DOPE to have a champion that fights by using a bunch of pets primarily (not just as aids like Malz/Yorick).
Not just Wuju, but if those face mask does see towards the spirit realm, what shenanigans would Xolaani create when she realizes that there are other realms apart from the physical now that half her face is fused with the mask?

I like the idea of the hourglass in the automiton being a smaller automiton. The ult could be that the smaller one breaks off, gives buffs and abilities change so that the two automiton fight together/the bigger one commands the smaller one.

i think Kato and Shiraza would be interesting if they made it kinda like tom and jerry in multiverses if that makes sense? like, they start together, but one of their moves is Kato throwing Shiraza, giving them a different moveset as you control both at the same time.

Alternative play for Kato and Shiraza: Cho'Gath from HotS. 2 people control 1 "champion" where they need to be together at all times, one controls movement and another controls more ranged stuff. You end up with a mega tank but only 4 "champions" on the board. I promise its so fucking fun

Kato and Sheraza could be really cool as a stance change kind of champion. Like, by default you control Kato and Sheraza sits on his shoulder, but you can throw Sheraza and control her while Kato tags out. Then he could barrel back in to pick her up, or something. A true tag team champion would be super cool.
I do believe Aatrox is still the strongest darkin, purely because he is just...unhinged with how powerful he is. He is functionally immortal, he is so powerful his hosts desintegrate in the matter of days, he slays armies by himself, is confirmed to be stronger than Rhaast AND KILLED THE IDEA OF WAR. Xolaani might be a better corruptor, but if she was to square up to Aatrox, she'd be gone in a flash, he hates too much to be really controlled. And he REALLY hates Xolaani.
Also, Rhaast has beaten Xolaani as evidenced in the fact his LoR card art is holding her scickles, presumably after beating her after Yun picked up the darkin weapons.

I think the lost soul could be like every time you die the character that you control changes in appearance, but not in abilities, because they are supposed to be army so maybe that could be cool as a concept, but a nightmare to actually put in league

I like that idea of Kato and Shiraza a lot! Maybe you could have it so that you first play as Kato (low-mobility tank), and that if you die as him, you get to play Shiraza (squishy high-mobility fighter/assassin) who had been sitting on his shoulder, which basically would be the passive of them. Back to base (either out of yourself or upon death as Shizara) resurrects Shizara.
And as your ult, perhaps Kato yeets his beloved, who you can than play as on your own accord while Kato keeps standing on the place you did the ult. Going back to him will get you back to playing as him.
Just a rough idea, but I would be down for it.
RE: Kato and Shiraza being "two champs in one" we have that already boss, it's Nunu & Willump XD
Kato and Sharaza could do an ice climbers thing where they're attached to the same health bar even though they'd have separate actions
