hey man excellent videos, im currently gutting my 98 cobra drift car to add a full cage and was looking at the steering column from motion raceworks. ive watched a couple of your videos now but i have 22 questions. do you have a dash bar installed with your cage, the bar that goes from a pillar to a pillar if so what did you have to cut out of the stock dash to get the dash to fit?? and the second question i have is are you keeping the stock keyed ignition with the new steering column?

Hey, thanks! I haven't done an overall update in a while but will in a few weeks. I am not using a dash cross bar, I am using the factory dash bar for the pillar-to-pillar support. I did this because I wanted to keep the HVAC assembly behind the dash on the passenger side in place. In hindsight, I may have been able to retain the HVAC assembly and run a bar across it but it would be a tight fit. The stock dash & its bar required trimming to fit around the bars going from the floor to the roof.
I got rid of the stock key ignition and now run a switch panel that is mounted on the upper bar. I will be sure to include my setup in an update video.
