People that talk bad about the New Edge interior obviously didn't live in the 80s. LOL! Besides the seats wearing out, everything else holds up pretty good. Coming from the 80s I'm just glad the dash doesn't crack into a million pieces. Sweet ride!
To me, the interior is almost always the most important part of a car to me. I don't spend any time driving on the hood or the roof or the sides. If it's clean inside, I'll look twice. And the frame, that is important sometimes too 😅 Edit: oh and reliability lol
I have some of that foam stuff but I haven't gotten around to applying all of it. Mine creeks a lot. Overall the interior is very 90's but does what it needs to do. All the fun is under the hood anyway.
Bro, all this time I’ve been following you about your TJ information and now I’m into SVT cobra Terminators and you have one?!? I’m so excited to watch this!
Thanks dude! haha the cobra was here way before the jeep. Have a bunch of videos on the channel with the cobra if you want to watch some other ones as well
Honestly, I love the interior on this car. It is what it is, and what it isn't is new or high-quality, but I still have a soft spot for them. I love the chunky light switch!
Good review. I’ve never thought to complain about the interior in the past. Form definitely equals function. So many people dog on the Interior but I’ve seen more cracked dashes on Fbody (same Gen) cars than mustangs. A muscle car doesn’t need fake wood, real carbon fiber or a leather wrapped dash. It would have just added to the cost anyway. People are just too picky. The interior does everything I would want to to do. That’s a great idea with the foam tape to quiet it down. My cars are just too loud to notice lol.
I've always thought the same thing. I've never thought to complain about the Terminators interior, I really like it. I don't think fancy, high tech interiors belong in performance cars. If that's what I wanted I'd go buy a luxury car lol not a muscle car.
Mine hasn't either, but based on what others have said, it is actually a common thing. I think the cars that don't have dash rattle were built on a Wednesday lol
Looks fantastic! FYI- 303 Aerospace Protectant (white bottle) is best UV protectant interior plastics dressing that I've come across, What do you use or think is the best? And no interest in audio upgrading?
I have an 01 cobra and love the car. The interiors don't bother me. The materials could be better but, I do enjoy the design language of it overall. I also appreciate the seats a lot but I agree, they do sit too high for my preference haha.. What do you think about the new 2024 Mustang!?
Yes there is a lot of plastic in our cars, but it isn't that bad considering it was the early 2000's. At least the seats are comfy considering it's a muscle car. For comparison, my cousin has a 2002 BMW 330 (I think) that she bought back around 2008 - that is the only car that I have ever been in where I had to ask someone to pull over cause I was so uncomfortable. And it was only an hour and half drive. My 2000 Mazda 626 had better seats than that Beamer.
It's gd you have Terminator Cobra it's not bad l had three new edge the got now SVT Cobra l got it for its performance nothing else look at other cars or this time most of them don't have pave performance or a good interior 😂
Love your videos on the net. Your car is always clean and sounds incredible. I appreciate the interior for all of its shortcomings. It reminds me that the car wasn't built for comfort or convenience. For some reason when I get in mine and all that creaking starts, I somehow assign it to squeaky new leather. I'm in denial. LOL. As an aside, door pulls on Mustangs have notoriously been poorly designed. 69 Mustang Mach 1- door pulls have the door handle inside them and you have to squeeze them with the tips of your fingers to open the door. The door pull cup edges on the door panel take a beating over time and they're almost always cracked. I like your foam idea and I may just have to spend a day isolating some squeakages.

Hey Kyle, that left air vent is considered a "nut chiller". Here in Florida, it's in a very useful spot!
lol

Its the same as my GT. I like it still...yes it rattles a bit but i don't mind it.
My center console never made any creaking noises, idk if you have a faulty one but I do agree about the door inserts though

I'm not a big fan of the new stuff. Too much tech and that car phones home to ford. I prefer more raw driving experience and cheaper older cars
@@KyleSVT raw driving experience is a lot of fun for sure!
99 Cobra Convertible here, you don’t hear those rattles so much with all the wind noise…..
Man i used to drive a 500 hp 91 Fox mustang. This might as well be a Rolls Royce lol

no problem!
@@SVTgotti yeah mine rattles too haha, thanks !
Better than the ‘24
If I buy a 2004 terminator, it won't be for the interior. I dont care if it even has an interior.
It is what it is. Otherwise drive something else.
