I grew up around poverty in and around Glasgow, I've seen it first hand but nothing.. nothing like this. This is appalling and how it is allowed to exist should be a mark of shame on every citizen in the US.

Growing up in India, seeing large numbers of homeless People was not uncommon, but at least in India, the homeless People were just normal folks, they weren't mentally ill, or addicted to drugs, or acting like a crazy maniac. In the US, majority of homeless People are crazy drug addicts or just outright mentally ill and are a threat to themselves and to others living in that area. In fact, in most Countries outside of US where there are large numbers of homeless People, you're not gonna run into crazy psychos on the streets, but only in US do you have to watch out and be careful while you're out in public.

What you described is a result of several factors most are do to dismal governmental to fiscal systems. Compounded by the pfharma pushed remedies 'cures' that assure lifetime of OTC/Rx treatments that often lead to 'illicit' versions. It happens to very young children, teens, young adults, seniors, to elderly. And military personnel especially 'veterans' out of which slowly self'destruct, become violent, commit suicide. 4 years ago, I visited the US (San Francisco) the first time. I was shocked and scared by how many home less people I saw. Im from Germany and I always thought our country had a problem with homeless people, but seeing San Francisco made it seem like nothing.
San Francisco has a lot more homeless than many other places. The weather there makes it attractive to them. Dont want to be homeless in the north states during the winter.
Not really. It's just that we're powerless to do much of anything because of our strict civil rights guarantees. Even if people are in a desperate state and a potential threat to others, or who are ruining a neighborhood, we can't round them up and do anything with them. We have to leave them where they are doing what they're doing.

As an addictions RN in the US, I have never had a single patient in this specialty that did not have extensive/severe traumas in their life and/or comorbid mental illness(es). Sadly for many the traumas are from systemic issues and can't easily be overcome with therapy/meds because they are ongoing.@@janmajer4662

I'm a 28yr old guy living in the UK and I used to have a benzodiazepine and alcohol addiction. I'm 2 years clean in 13days! It makes me emotional just thinking how far I've come. It was so difficult for me to get clean and I relapsed multiple times, it was a 6 year battle which I only won because of my incredible Mum and Dad who helped me so much. I'm so lucky to have people who care about me, who will help me at all costs, and I'm so ashamed of the pain I put them through. I hope that even just a few of those people in the video manage to get out of that hell that they are in. They are much deeper in it than I ever was, I just cant even imagine the suffering. As a S. African(a 3rd World Country), I've never seen such a large proliferation of homeless people dominating a city like this. My country is also dealing with a crystal meth epidemic that is destroying our youth in huge numbers and this footage is eerily similar to what is also happening all around the world. My father used to work on Frankford Ave when I was growing up and I remember going down to visit him with my mother. We would walk down Frankford Ave for lunch and then go shopping at some of the mom and pop stores that lined the road. This was back in the 70s and 80s. By the time I got my first house around Bridge and Pratt in the 90s it was already changing, but never like this. After my home was broken into, while I was there, I gave up and bought a home in the burbs. Philadelphia is lost and it breaks my heart.

That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Before I even knew about Fentanyl, I was out jogging on a local trail in a suburban area - very few people around - trail goes through a very large local park. It was early morning, still mostly dark. As I approached an underpass with a relatively low ceiling I saw what I thought was a bear (mind you it was nearly dark and I couldn’t see well and we do have the occasional bear in the area). Turns out it was a young woman wearing black head to toe - she was hunched over with her head near her knees - swaying back and forth. It freaked me out. I was like - WTF is she doing? As I watched a few of these videos I notice that seems to be common with Fentanyl users - why do they do that?

It’s the new drug they’re cutting fentanyl with called xylazine. They call the combination “tranq.” Xylazine is a horse tranquilizer. It makes the fentanyl last longer and knocks them the F out which is why they just stand around swaying and hunching over. It also causes horrific sores and wounds that start to open up all over the body. It’s NASTY. Apparently Xylazine is in like 98% of fentanyl now or something crazy. I watch a lot of documentaries about this stuff 😂

I grew up around poverty in and around Glasgow, I've seen it first hand but nothing.. nothing like this. This is appalling and how it is allowed to exist should be a mark of shame on every citizen in the US.

Growing up in India, seeing large numbers of homeless People was not uncommon, but at least in India, the homeless People were just normal folks, they weren't mentally ill, or addicted to drugs, or acting like a crazy maniac.
In the US, majority of homeless People are crazy drug addicts or just outright mentally ill and are a threat to themselves and to others living in that area. In fact, in most Countries outside of US where there are large numbers of homeless People, you're not gonna run into crazy psychos on the streets, but only in US do you have to watch out and be careful while you're out in public.

4 years ago, I visited the US (San Francisco) the first time. I was shocked and scared by how many home less people I saw. Im from Germany and I always thought our country had a problem with homeless people, but seeing San Francisco made it seem like nothing.

I'm a 28yr old guy living in the UK and I used to have a benzodiazepine and alcohol addiction. I'm 2 years clean in 13days! It makes me emotional just thinking how far I've come. It was so difficult for me to get clean and I relapsed multiple times, it was a 6 year battle which I only won because of my incredible Mum and Dad who helped me so much. I'm so lucky to have people who care about me, who will help me at all costs, and I'm so ashamed of the pain I put them through. I hope that even just a few of those people in the video manage to get out of that hell that they are in. They are much deeper in it than I ever was, I just cant even imagine the suffering.

Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.

Before I even knew about Fentanyl, I was out jogging on a local trail in a suburban area - very few people around - trail goes through a very large local park. It was early morning, still mostly dark. As I approached an underpass with a relatively low ceiling I saw what I thought was a bear (mind you it was nearly dark and I couldn’t see well and we do have the occasional bear in the area). Turns out it was a young woman wearing black head to toe - she was hunched over with her head near her knees - swaying back and forth. It freaked me out. I was like - WTF is she doing? As I watched a few of these videos I notice that seems to be common with Fentanyl users - why do they do that?
It is amazing that hundred of comments on here - but no references to Fentanyl. It is almost as if no-one knows anything about it on here except you and me...?
If they sit/lie down they will fall asleep, they stand up so they keep feeling the effects

@@michaelatkinson7577 Fentanyl has also arrived in Germany, Berlin. There are areas in Berlin you better avoid walking along at nighttime. While it is not as bad as in America, the numbers of drug addicts and homeless people has increased in recent years.
It’s the new drug they’re cutting fentanyl with called xylazine. They call the combination “tranq.” Xylazine is a horse tranquilizer. It makes the fentanyl last longer and knocks them the F out which is why they just stand around swaying and hunching over. It also causes horrific sores and wounds that start to open up all over the body. It’s NASTY. Apparently Xylazine is in like 98% of fentanyl now or something crazy. I watch a lot of documentaries about this stuff 😂
From someone that knows what that the area looks like first-hand that actually looks a lot better than usual. It looks like they came and cleaned up the streets just a day ago

This is one small area of 1 city. Every city has its area of total loss. Do you know how large this nation is? 99% of the country is NOT big cities and is filled with beautiful towns and healthy normal people who have never heard of or ever been to these neighborhoods nor heard of the drugs. I've never seen anything this bad in the midwest. The worst in terms of homelessness was when we visited Las Vegas, in and just outside of the strip.

We've had our first victims on Tranq also in belgium ( europe ), its a horse calming sedative. I've used to work in Antwerp the number of addicted people were barly to count on one hand, a different story it was when i was orderd from my boss to clean up the feces and needle from the one who slept there during the night at our entrance.
