funny thing. My son loves it, and the first version of the movie that I saw was a Korean version with english subtitles. My son saw that version, we since recently purchased the copy in english and I don't like it and he didn't either! We very much prefer the older version we have. lol
Great stuff! Thank you for sharing and for the inspiration! I especially love the drawings created by your children on their birthdays. What a great way of capturing them at that point in time.
love your pages, can't wait to see more. Loved the birds, autumn tree, and the pink pig..hope you post more videos. Maybe even a how to on how you made such lovely work
OMG you are soooooo talented! I absolutely love all of your pages!!!!!! Please continue with these videos...and if you have time, I would love to see a watercolour process video too :) Do you like the gel highlighters? I was thinking of getting them to colour in the background, but I'm not sure if you're able to write on top of them or if they will smudge any writing. Thank you so much for sharing Rachel!
MyLifeMits Hey Mits! oh man, took me a month to read your comment... ughhh.. sorry! I'm such a procrastinator, been wanting to do a watercolor process video but till now still no sight of it. I promise I'll have one soon! And for the gel highlighter, I never try to have them as background bc they have this waxy texture on paper and can't really write over them. Plus they do smudge ink from some of my pens, sooo.. I'll only use them solely as highlighters. Hope this info helps!! xo
Romi Kurokawa Thanks! For watercolor, I'm largely using the Tim Holtz distress markers. For sketching/writing/drawing, it will be Millennium by Kuretake 01 tip. Hope these info helps!
I especially like the Totoros! Beautiful book, what a lovely way to keep memories.
Daisy Niemeyer Found another Totoro lover!
