I art while watching and listening to UA-cam videos to learn and support other artists. Usually I'd skip right over the commentary, however I found myself unable to due to paint all over my hands. I am in love with the grunge. I have not yet tried mixing the glazing medium with acrylics. Will do it soon. I will be getting a knee replacement on Tuesday. Amid the horror of the pre-surgery fear, the positive side is I'll have plenty of time to create. So afraid. Please pray for me. Thanks. Toodles...Deb
What is the difference as far as final effect of watering down the fluid acrylic versus mixing the acrylic with glazing medium? Love all your videos. You are very inspirational and your voice is so easy to listen to. Thanks for sharing your talent with us :-)
Watering down the acrylics makes it like water colors...loose.. and it puddles. Glazing medium is thicker it doesnt puddle like water color and give your paint a smooth, even but sheer coverage
