Thank you sooooo much!!!! Your a blessing 😊
Excellent video. Thank you for the info. Will grow some beans today
How do you grow kale once the heat comes. My kale was more down 3 weeks ago by caterpillar an white flies! I gave up fighting and just pulled the plants out of the garden
You might need to keep them under garden mesh
I'm going to plant beans and cucumbers on 1 obelisk trellis
you have g reat ideas and suggestions, just curious where are you located out of, i live in a very hot summer environment in the high desert of central oregon and have been struggling to grow tomato plants that look hardy and green and the same with peppers...i dont give up but...its a struggle....and i have now a 40% shade c loth...hoping that helps tho im wondering if i should use a higher number,,,how does one figure that out?
Will arugula germinate when it’s 102 degrees? I thought I had to wait until October.
You might need to wait till temps drop into the 80s now
Which variety of squash or zucchini do you grow?
Idk why this seems so niche but like I bought my house this year (I’m 25) and I’m starting my whole yard from a neglected, overgrown with stinging nettle hellpatch into perennial, shade, fruit, herb and tea gardens!
Nice..blessings to you congratulations lady 😊
I get squash vine borers every time I grow squash!
Me too
Same!
Good content which has been efficiently and clearly presented. Question from a Deep South state also...zone 8 so a little further north than Houston...your squash are beautiful, but do you have any issues with squash vine borers or squash bugs (look like stink bugs a bit)? I have watched more videos on both than I care do view, but still battling both of those ! Thx!
I have given up on squash because nothing really helps with squash vine borers unless you want to inject with by regularly.
*bt
Yes, issues with both, for sure. Squash vine borers are the worst! We have a post about them here: www.gardenary.com/blog/how-to-treat-and-prevent-squash-vine-borers-in-an-organic-kitchen-garden
@@TShirtAndReeboks Understand your pain 🙃Not giving up yet!
@@Gardenary Thank you; I'll check that out. We also have the lovely and UGLY black lopper grasshoppers which are like mini-monsters ....insatiable appetites.
My arugula bolted already 😢
Mine too, back in April!
HOW DID YOU KNOW... I watch the videos and don't do it. What's her idea of soil. I've killed everything by planting in compost
We have a video where I talk about soil, including why some plants won't grow well in just compost. My ideal soil mix is a sandy loam blend (coarse sand, topsoil, and compost)
As soon as you cut away from the head-on view to angle shots, I quit watching !! Why?? Because you posted a gardening know how video. If you want to be a model, go be a model…. But “content creators” PLEASE stop all the stupid head shot angles- it’s so FLIPPING ANNOYING.
So… no “sub” here….NEXT.
