It looks cool and all, but I've never been one for the whole fantasy-tech aspects or doped-up HUD elements of these games. I want the whole system an environment to be as realistic as possible, so none of that enemy marking/tracking stuff or HUD designation stuff. Now, I also understand that there are already quite a few games like that which you play. I also understand that some of this tech is actually beginning to come to fruition in the real world, so I can definitely see that this is more-so a "~20 year future" kind of scenario. But you'll have to forgive my semi-Boomer mentality. You can probably tell that I was most comfortable playing CoD on my PS3 in hardcore mode online while I was in college... There's just something off-putting to me about the idea of a super gamified version of warfare. It feels far too fast paced, chaotic, flashy, and with very low stakes. I also know that warfare can be fast paced and chaotic, but that's mostly because the stakes are the highest possible, even though the actual pacing is substantially slower. I'm much more of a full-on mil-sim fan. Once the magical tech and constant dead-sprint speed is involved, I'm more likely to throw my hands up and quit. If I want that kinda feeling, I'll go play Gallaga or whatever for 50¢ 😆

@@WayStedYou your data has already circulated through Chinese hands more times than CERN has collided particles. Its not changing anything, as much as I hate and despise the Chinese governments existence.
same IP different dev company entirely
Nah, they destroyed that franchise just like Ubisoft destroyed the Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon franchises by shoving a bunch of stupid cartoon bullshit into them.
I literally was on your channel two days ago looking to see if you had any gameplay of Delta Force. Glad you got to check it out!
It's a tencent backed/owned game. Have fun with data harvesting
everything thing is data harvested, stop kidding yourself
"when it launches next year..."
I've heard enough
The nitty gritty sound design is fantastic, the team really put effort into the little details. im excited this look fun as hell
@@alphamuplays1669 the sound needs some reverb, guns are loud.
@@NecramoniumVideo sound design is more than just guns ya know
Very happy to see that the Delta Force series getting a revival. I hope it lives up to the quality of the older games.
I don't believe that they won't add P2W features in this game or turn it into some Freemium type of sh*t. Game devs are some the most dishonest people out there.
Would not be the first time game devs break their promises either
That reddit response reeks of corpo talk
its usually the EXECUTIVES not devs doing these, for bigger games
Dude that's my whole childhood you're playing is amazing btw
Competitor for arcady/battlefield type games.
We need 100 more vids of this game plz thanks for your acceptance!
congratulations on 2M
CONGRATS ON 2M!!!
3:44 what's with that player swinging their arms wildly on the right?
Just stretching his arms, not much.
_"Jay, you can't fall asleep. This is war."_
This is basically Chinese mobile Battlefield
Literally approved by the CCP propaganda department as well
good stuff reaching 2M dude!
If I want that kinda feeling, I'll go play Gallaga or whatever for 50¢ 😆
I love the lil Halo theme when you discover the weapon to surpass metal gear, very nice ♥
ABI's developers ALSO promised to never implement P2W.
Both ABI and Delta Force are published by Tencent.
So far I haven't played a Tencent game that has a P2W aspect so that's hopeful at least
@@Daark_Karma Are you high?
@barneyfromblueshift Which tencent game is p2w? They push alot of cosmetics and battle pass but not p2w.
@@frankreynolds9930 ABI?
Im 36 and the OG Blackhawk Down online was my obsession in 03. And actually the last game I played on pc. Well besides delta forces Joint Ops that released right after BHD. Hope delta force returns to its former fps glory.🔥🔥
It was such a good game playing on Team Speak with in game units, ranks, and assignments and custom player created maps. I just can't get down with this hyper speed chaos type of game play nowadays.
@@dmacarthur5356 wow haven't heard or thought of teamspeak in decades. Think I used ventrillo mostly though. But yeah I was on a bhd squad "team 3dx" and won the king of the hill n tdm championships that year. The custom maps were amazing. Remember playing alot of tunnel maps and going nuts with the m60. But yea joint ops was fantastic and honestly ahead of its time. I ran medic class, it was great.🔥🔥
@@shifty1927 Good times!
So, fast-pace gameplay, longer TTK, a busy HUD, and operators instead of factions. It sounds like the only thing it does different to BF2042 is better gunplay with more customization. Nice, but not enough to grab my interest. Then add in the sort of shameless IP grab, a Chinese-owned developer riding on a franchise that died over a decade ago, and I go from "not interested" to "not even going to pretend to be interested".
There is a huge demand for fps game like this. Nothing to do with franchise.
@@frankreynolds9930 I'm well aware of that, but that doesn't change what I said: *I* am not interested. If others agree with me, great. If they don't, that's fine too.
Man i remember playing delta force black hawk down when i was little. That game blew me away & still does
Okay that's cool and all, but when are we getting PlanetSide 3?
I know right??
Finally seeing the Drewski take on this game!!!
This is hard pass for me. Everyone running fast like Usain Bolt
I just found my old Delta Force 1 CD the other week when I was cleaning up my office. Good times
Dont care if this is the best game ever with zero issues when it releases. Hero/specialist shooter is an automatic no from me every time.
Gameplay is awesome truly satisfying
This honestly looks like a modern bad company 2 but WITHOUT destructible environments. Why is it so difficult to add destruction if it was possible 10 years ago...
According to JackFrags they’re working on it
Because it takes a very skilled and specific type of person in your team working on that for it to work, someone who knows the in and out of the platforms they work with and know a fuck load of math and coding, if you can find one of those and pay them a sustainable salary, youd have envinroment destruction, good luck.
Harder to make cool stuff when you're using generic unreal garbage not a bespoke engine.
@@Samsonfs you say it like making a bespoke engine isnt 100x more difficult for mechanics and graphics that would be at least equal to what ue5 can do
@@Samsonfson the other hand, it’s also a huge risk to make a bespoke engine due to the problems they tend to have. Frostbite with BF is a good example. Another would be Slipstream engine for Halo Infinite. But I agree with you in principle. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely we will be seeing any non-indie games with bespoke engines anymore. Too much risk to financially make sense.
Kudos on 2M subs ! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Na im good. This is not a battle field game. This looks like a hero shooter.
I just want faceless solders fighting a massive battle in combined arms.
its amazing how well you can do in these kinda of games if you just use some comms and teamwork/tactics
I'm all for sponsorships but this current wave of paid Delta Force content by the big FPS dudes kinda irks me and I feel like I'm not alone. This is straight up a Chinese BF clone feeding off of the IP and I have no idea how one would believe or even vouch for the developers' promises. They do not own the game and/or its rights, Tencent does.
Sounds like you've already decided it's a scam
Tencent owns this studio. Also bf doesnt hold rights to large scale fps. If this does things better and fans like it, who cares if its clone or not.
Great vid once again.
Meh hate the stuff like silly futurists wrist drones...
Not silly or futurist. That is today. Btw I am with ya, I like less modern warfare. Really though times a changin and we getting old lol.
Yeah, the very future 2016 pocket drone that is used today for Intel gathering, for soldiers to look behind cover and corners. The 2016 drones that they can control with a point a finger and it goes there and hand gestures.
Dude, Vietnam is over and we are getting old.
Fun fact: Black Hawk Down is by no means the firat game in the series. It goes back even further than that. Delta Force 2 is actually available on Steam, and that came out in 1999, a whole 5 years prior. Still love that game, as goofy as it is nowadays.
The Simpery of Drewski Know’s no bounds
Bet He’ll also make another “Yeah Guys, so anyways, this sucks” video in a Month
Agree and look at all the bot comments on his videos and some of the other big FPS guys. All the same positive comments. Sad he lost his credibility years ago, unsubbed back then.
this game immediately became top game of this year for me once i found i could put 4 laser sights on my gun, all different colors.
Is it really a "tactical shooter," or has the definition just gotten looser?
Always has been
2 mil baby!! Oklahoma better watch out!
Its the same bullcrap with all these competitor titles, game comes out in open beta it all looks sunshine and rainbows but as soon as tencent or someother chinese giant gets their hands on it, they turn it into a micro transaction hellscape
Man, I had so much fun with the first 2 or 3 Delta Force games on PC back when I was a kid... Good times.
hero shooter, futuristic gadgets, wont play, this looks like a battlefield 2042 copy thats just a bit more refined
the entire devteam of delta force when @stealth7545:
It's more fun than 2042 that's for sure.
@@CertifiedSunset thats for sure, BF4 is still fun somewhat but i mostly play squad, insurgency sandstorm, and helldivers 2, this would be hard pressed to replace any of those
been waiting for access for so long ;-;
I dont really like it.. its not tactical either... too unrealistic
Okay bye
Oh! That new Battlefield: Delta Force really looks awesome!
I actually pu it in my wishlist basically a week before this video. Game looks promising
I played tf out of delta force 1,2,&3 that series was so rad.
Grats on 2M!
I cant wait to try this game, my pc isnt strong enough to run it but omg i want to relive the old campaign so bad
