TBH I am not disappointed but rather angry cause I belong to a middle class family here in Pakistan, and my parents put their wishes aside and got me admitted in an A-Level institution. Well, by the grace of Almighty I have made it to my dream university and will work my as* off to achieve future goals. Wish me luck everyone :)
@@HuzaifaJawwadCreations The grading in Pakistan was extremely unfair. And A2 and O3 students were at a bigger disadvantage since they couldn't have postponed their exams to October/November and their grades were final too. Alhamdolillah that you made it to your university of choice. InshaAllah you'll do amazing in the future!

It's not bad to have wanted an A. When someone's really good at a subject and an A grade student, being lumped with a B will disappoint anyone.

I’m an international student who took CIE’s A level and was gonna sit in the may/june exam til it was cancelled. I was predicted AAA but ended up with an A, D, E despite my AS being BBC (I was gonna resit the C grade since I usually excel in the subject and get A’s). My predicted grades were not handed to me out of generosity, I had to sit through multiple exams for my teachers to derive them and I really did improve from my AS performance. Because I’m applying to the US, I also need to take the SATs this fall and having a D/E on my A levels means that I’ll have to resit the exams. Last year alone I sat in 61 exams, I can’t believe I’m facing the same thing this fall. I was aiming for the ivy league and this all seems like a nightmare 💔 Some people I know who got an A in AS received a U in A levels, it doesn’t make sense. I hope you get your justice too, this isn’t right! To them we’re just another candidate, but we’re living, breathing human beings who have to bear with the consequences they’ve so easily handed us. We’re people too with limits and breaking points. I sincerely hope something changes for everyone facing this. Stay strong angel, and godspeed. ❤️

If it was 1 grade lower, A to B, it may have made sense. Giving you a D and E from two As is just outrageous.
Man, I hope everything will work out for you. Schools in my area are kind of bad, so many high performing students were put down a lot too. 💔

My teachers put me forward A*A*A for art, history and eng lit but I got A*AB so I’m appealing too. Literally have been getting A’s in English all year and I got an A in the mock, the stupid government’s system was literally based on how your school usually does and previous student rather then looking at us all individually lol it’s so dumb so I’ll be so annoyed if my grade doesn’t go up when I’m actually not a B student if that makes sense x
It’s crazy how the grade system works this year, can’t wrap my head around it!! Hope your grades get sorted, you should be so proud either way though my lovely you’ve done amazing!

Well done!! I got what I needed to get into uni but I’d dropped 2 grades for psychology which I was always at an A but I think a lot of people had their grades lowered which is so annoying 🙄🙄

Bojos algorithm is fucked up. How can you give students who normally get As, a c or below? Seriously my heart goes out to you guys. I do vocationals so my results weren't really affected but I've got friends who were affected because they done A-levels. I hope you get the results you deserve!

You've done really well! I was expecting at least a C in psychology and got an E. So I'm going to be taking the exam in autumn which I'm scared about as I've not done psychology for months. I applied through clearing a month ago and got into uni to study musical theatre which I'm so happy about and I didn't have to audition thankfully x
I think it’s crazy that resits in autumn are even an option!! It’s going to be stressful having to revise content you haven’t approached in months!! I know you’re going to do so amazing though!! And congratulations on getting into uni to study musical theatre that must be so exciting!! ♡

I've given two different exam boards
1) An Indian board CBSE
2) CIE A level for mathematics
In the Indian board I had gotten in all subjects 90%(2 of the exams I didn'tgive but still got a 90%+ which is around an A*) but in CIE even when I was predicted an A* I dropped to a C which doesn't make any sense as there is no way I would've dropped so low and for my uni they were requiring me to get an A And I am nowhere close to an A. I Hope my university can still let me in. ( fingers crossed 🤞 ) . Good luck to all of you guys opening your result I hope you all get good grades and don't be disheartened if you don't get the grades you wanted as these grades don't define us in any way.

My working grades in year 13 were A*AB and got BBC calculated grades so you’re really lucky, if you got into the uni you wanted then that’s great, I kinda liked my insurance better than my firm so I’m lucky too. Some people have had it even worse

You did so well! My A in maths got put down to a B so I missed out on my firm choice uni. Luckily I managed to get into a Russel group uni through clearing but hope the grades will be appealed soon 🤞
