Lol modeling consciousness. Seems epic mythological and mysterious stories like RBW (Evangelion, Star Wars, Matrix, Blade Runner etc) are always and specifically heavily alluding to exploring that mysterious "thing" we actually are beyond the vessel you see in the mirror. That thing that is generated by the signals eternally snaking through our electrified central nervous system that we so humbly generalize as consciousness. Stories, including the aforementioned Bible with its creation account and even beyond that to the origins of the monomyth structure first discovered by our ancient ancestors within themselves at the dawn of self-awareness, attempt to model how consciousness is organized, how the various discreet entities/functions interact with each other, and with it's still mysterious origin within homonids always portrayed rather fantastic, dramatic, and divine, but of course still using the current "cutting edge" knowledge of the world of the time a potential model (story) is produced. Animal spirits to the starry night to gods and monsters to sci fi and conspiracy theories. At one time communing with animal spirits was cutting edge knowledge. You bet your bottom dollar you'd be pretty boss if you were the tribal consciousness translator. We definitely hold our current translators in high regard even if we don't realize what they're actually modeling or why we sort of "gravitate" (lol the potential fifth force?) towards or even downright worship Human Works (media, buildings, organization, research methods etc) that seem to earnestly explore and coherently model consciousness. My theorycraft is that at the foundation of RBW the name Sol is specifically used over the word Sun to be a direct reference to Soul (maybe even blatantly misunderstood by the in-universe humans) which is a theological reference to an aspect of Consciousness or a reference to Consciousness in total within a being. RBW is taking a crack at modeling consciousness in a way that so far is highly entertaining as well as thought provoking, my favorite kind of model (dry textbooks be damned). You got your right brain vs left brain (Jungian Ego vs Shadow) in the form of on the nose Atheists and Mithraics and you've the archetypal mother and father (Jungian Syzygy) and also the voice of "God" or that self-awareness function coded somewhere in the core of our DNA (Earth and the Jungian Self?) that subtly influences our individual (and perhaps collective???) actions mostly beyond are typically educated attention. I'm super curious to see if RBW starts to become more explicitly meta or more overtly on the nose with consciousness symbolizing the self-awareness function of consciousness that or if it'll stay firmly within allusion. Most stories still don't try to attempt translating the self-awareness function due to how easy it is to break the immersion of the story and shit all over everything that came before it gaining the wrath of fans (the collective self-awareness function? God, is that where we forgot you? Lol Damn that would mean any stories that attempt to fully model/replicate that function face some real tower of Babel style "no your place" wrath from the audience. Creepy) but attempts have been made like 2001's ending and Neon Genesis Evangelion two ending attempts which I think were mostly successful. I have hopes for RBW. High hopes? Perhaps... Edit: Forgot the interesting thing about RBW's concept of dark photons and its possible connection to consciousness as a classic cheeky sci fi pseudoscience for consciousness mechanics. Dark light (photons) is a general metaphor for the mental light that we more explicitly perceive in dreams and eyes closed hallucinations but is also very much the the invisible hand that paints our waking perception of "reality". The brain can't actually see but it processes the information gained from the sensors littered throughout the central nervous system and uses dark photons ("dark light") to paint an objective image. If true that's a pretty neat creative allusion. Last edit: Forgot the connection between dark photons, necro eyes, and hallucinations. Maybe you can guess where I'm slithering to. If dark photons refer to the "mental immaterial" that makes up consciousness then the eyes might contain a high concentration of RBW's "materialized" depiction of this substance. And if the eyes contain a high concentration of consciousness juice then it may cause a similar experience for in-universe characters to our hallucinogenic leaning substances. Altered States of Consciousness... Man them hippies may have been naively stumbling through something. Makes one wonder what a malicious person... Or people could do with the knowledge gained from researching consciousness... Huh well that's scary. Last last note: Time travel is a common allusion to the ability of our current consciousness to imagine both unknown past and unknown future and this dichotomy also can show up as two contrasting worlds or dimensions or, for RBW, times or even two different aspects of being (pre and post conception hinted by the spermy eggy planet core shot). I think that mirrored shot of the planet core is a hint at the time travel point or on a meta level the point where the imagined future flips to the imagined past for humanity. The potential cyclical nature of this in-universe Eden cycle process could also be an allusion to the fact that the imagined past and imagined future are not linear in relation to each other within consciousness but actually share the same source, the present moment. The most intuitive symbol is the infinity symbol but the ouroboros (sp?) and circle symbols also attempt to model this function of consciousness. Also a note on snakes. Poor creatures get so much instinctually disdain from us due to deeply rooted Ancestral Trauma but I wish they could understand how much our species elevates their qualities due to being fairly effcient symbols for functions of consciousness.
Frustrated that everyone is zeroed in on the "devolving" line from Father. Correct, species don't "devolve." The point Father was making was that the evolutionary pressures on the planet were such that humans were losing much of what made them human... advanced societies, appearance, flourishing culture.
Two things that make me thing father was being very literal: (1) they found an actual Neanderthal skull. If they were evolving into a lower form specifies for just environmental reasons, the odds that our evolution would look identical to early form humans is essentially zero.... (2) his first thought was that the creatures they had already seen on the planet were evolving... meaning they would’ve “evolved” in a matter of a few years or even less than that, so it would seem to me he’s discussing a bizarre phenomenon rather than a natural evolutionary process you’re describing which would take thousands of years. I could of course be wrong but I think it’s a valid read.
Exactly. And if it meant actual "devolution" then the creatures and hooded figure we'd see would look a lot more like our ancestors. Devolution in this case is not to be taken literally. I believe it's like you said, they're just less like humans. Wouldn't be surprised if the "Intelligence" helped them to devolve to something reptilian-like to create "man" in its own image.
@@OneTakeVids really excellent points. I'm now a bit more open to the idea of "devolution." I think the neanderthal skull was a historical fossil, not "devolution" in action. Perhaps there were never humans on Kepler 22-b, but very advanced neanderthals. Once the advanced neanderthals ruined Kepler, neanderthal embryos were sent to earth, where they evolved into humans... not sure if this fits with father's statement that they evolved independently on both planets as I don't remember the words perfectly. Great reviews by the way!
Why do you guys think species don't devolve? There isn't any natural law forbidden it. Species will change in response to natural pressures. If a simpler body fits better in an environment then the species will adapt to survive that way.
I think that is where the time travel happened, perhaps it is a metaphor to hint that they are going back to the “Beginning” to seed the planet with new life.
@@mstandenberg1421 I noticed that too. There seems to be a lot of fertilisation symbolism in this show. Could be more clues that it is all related to the origin, or birth of humanity. Sort of a weird sci-fi creation myth. We have Adam and Eve + snake, the ark, religious wars. It is all very old testament, but futuristic. My own best guess is that Sol is an ancient super A.I that has been imprisoned inside the core of Kepler-22B and that when Mom, Pop and Sid the snake passed through the core, they were sent back a million years to spawn humanity and the Mythraic religion.
@@steviemartin1977 it looks to me like it may be a repeated co-evolution bootstrap story. Two races creating their own evolutionary existence by timeloop integration.
@@mstandenberg1421 I disagree, I think that it is making the birth of humanity a paradox. Remember Father's joke to Hunter, with the punchline that was a paradox? I think that was a clue. I think that mankind was birthed on Kepler-22b millions of years ago and then transplanted back to Earth. I also think that our timeline is a result of some future effort to erase Sol's influence from mankind's development. I predict that someone will use Mother and Father's story to construct a new mythology that will reshape humanity's development. I think the mysterious cloaked figure with the tarot cards is working to reshape history to erase Sol from our history.
@@OneTakeVids I really loved this show and had a few theories myself so went hunting for more. There are a lot of speculations about religion and evo/devolution but I particularly love your idea about the cyclic nature of Keplar. You're the only one to go into that territory and it makes the most sense because that would have a direct affect on the whole planet. Any thoughts as to why there are no other signs of animal life? Do you think Mouse will play a part considering there are no other animal species on the planet?
@Nestor Aamons some of it might just be that we’ve really only seen a small slice of the planet and most of our time has been spent in a desert area where life would be scarce to begin with. Sue reminded us of this a couple eps back when she told Paul they should go out and see more of the world. So my guess is that there is potentially more life out there but we just haven’t seen it yet. If it turns out most of the planet is lifeless, then it could be the result of damage done to the planet by humans that used to live there (similar to how it seems Earth is becoming unlivable in Raised by Wolves due to the global religious war).
Also, Mother introduces herself as 'Lamia' to Marcus and others - in Greek mythology Lamia was able to remove her own eyes, also she lost her children and had serpent qualities
Gotta be time loop situation. "Chained to time." "Destroy themselves over and over" It's not devolution, it's the past being found by the future about to loop itself again
Yes. As show by the cave paintings there could be some weird time loop going on already. Especially with ep10 being named The Beginning and having themes of Adam and Eve in paradise with a snake. My guess is that the theme is humans create AI that grows so powerful it turns into a god that starts becoming hateful to humans and tries to breed other life forms. So humans have to escape and start over - yet end up creating AI again
The "devolution" aspect is simplified if humans were forced underground by surface dwelling snakes (too large to fit into the small fissures/caves) previously. If the species spends enough time underground, they will evolve into a different form. The creatures lived underground and only emerged when the ark crashed and opened up the ground. Could explain the "Sol" aspect as a deity if humanity no longer saw the sun.
We should also take care to specify that "de-evolution" isnt a thing. It's as you said; just a life form adapting to a different set of enviromental factors that will inevitably push it towards a evolutionary path that would bring out those features. Not trying to nitpick, I just keep running into quite a few people confused about what Father and Mother meant by "de-evolved" or w/e.
@@jonothandoeser That is Particularly wrong. Human Beings live in the harshest desert, on the Ocean itself, atop mountains, and in the Arctic. We even live in Space. All without "devolving".
@@uncletiggermclaren7592 You don't understand the science and how LONG Evolution/Devolution takes. It doesn't happen in a thousand years or even even thousand years.
@@jonothandoeser In fact I understand it far better than YOU do. To "devolve" back to ape-men such as Australopithecus, which is implied in the show, there would need to be a long series of events, where evolution selected for those traits. It wouldn't be "devolving" it would simply be more EVOLUTION. There simply is not a possible pathway for this, as I PROVED, because humans no longer allow the environment to genetically select their off-spring. We live in deserts and cities and snow-fields and have done for thousands of years, and EVERYWHERE in those places the people are genetically homogeneous, one species,. So clearly we do not "devolve" from environmental pressure any more. And THIS is because of our tools, we alter the environment instead of being altered by it. If our tools were forcibly taken from us, if we were, with an intervention, altered so tools and thought and speech were removed from our makeup, this IS NOT DEVOLUTION, it is engineering, and the subjects, from the moment of the intervention, WOULD NOT BE HUMANS, they would be some sort of construct. Humans think, speak and use tools. And If it was done with genetic engineering, THAT WOULD NOT BE DEVOLUTION, it would be engineering, and the beings wouldn't have ever been human. You do gene-engineering on zygotes, on genes, and that IS NOT changing a being, just using the genetic material in an engineering project. You are an idiot, so you suspect other people are also. I am infinitely* more intelligent than you, just don't waste your time trying to lecture me, go do your chores instead. *for a finite value of "infinite"
I was scratching my head about the whole Necromancer name from the start of the show. Now it finally makes sense since she brought the snakes back from the dead.
In old religion, necromancy was a more generic term for dark magic, specifically communing with dead and dark spirits. I doubt it has any real symbolism other than being borderline dark magic.
As a Greek (The word _necromancer_ is Greek e.g. _Νεκρομάντης_ ) I can assure you're wrong. The actual meaning of the word in Greek is the oracle who learns the future from the souls of the dead. Make what you want out of it.
@@erixlast6020 modern "sci fi" ? whatever mental gymnastics, is still not science fiction mate; is great fiction though, with some "horror", blood gore and mystical ingredients.
Just found this after finishing season one. SO HAPPY to find someone doing a deep dive and embracing this brilliant new show. Thanks and please continue!
The concept of Sol being an AI, with a serpent enacting its will, reminds me heavily of Roko's Basilisk. I speculate this is what the show is based off of/is secretly about.
This has to be the best theory video I've seen on raised by wolves to date. Really glad someone addressed the "devolution" thing in a serious way, and from a perspective that makes it all make sense. Most of the other videos on RBW after the season finally have left me wanting tear my hair out. This was amazingly well done.
I have listened to allot of peoples theories and yours are hands down the best. The way you present different theories and connect the dots by explaining your thoughts are awsome!
So paul said that they needed to stay on this side of the planet, why? We know there is an electromagnetic storm on the other side of the planet that prevents them from landing. Possibly a defense mechanism or cloaking device. Sol wanted the serpent on the barren side of the planet, not the tropical zone. I think there may have been two kinds of peoples on the planet, if you look back at the vision of the creature in the hex thing, there is a creature that distinctly has the long snout, while others do not. It may just be teh camera angles, but it would fit in with the cloaked creature and the fungus eating ones. Humanity is probably just the last in a long line of seeded planets a "Mother and Father" have been sent to. Or more likely I'm way off base.
The creature was most Likely an android( same white "blood" and "muscle" composition) just like mother used to breed the serpents/snake like creatures. The mouth piece was probably to ensure the serpent to be born out of the mouth of the android like in mother.
So that snout was just a helmet, mother took it off and the thing inside was an android, but with human looking features. I think the Scripture with the encrypted blueprint for necromancers was sent to a lot of planets, and I'm assuming knowledge of keppler 22-b is a part of the encrypted data. I think that creature is another Necromancer style android which was brought to the planet by the intelligence, specifically for the purpose of breeding a serpent.
When watching this I was a bit like, dude you've figured it out before it's all started! but even if what you said is true and in this 'loop' the advanced AI has decided not to give the humans another chance but instead make new life, then that could set up a load of interesting stories/ conflicts to be explored and played out in the show. Basically, the usual where humans are under-estimated in their ability to overcome their flaws.. I can see Campion being the main protagonist of this where he continually subverts the AI's attempts to destroy the humans once and for all. And perhaps Paul is the 'evil' twin, as he fundamentally is more sided with the rationale of the AI which was demonstrated when he solved the puzzle in under 5 minutes. Regardless, this could be the best thing i've watched since the matrix and hope that the series can have legs so all of this amazing story can be told! I'm particularly looking forward to the encounters with the athiest's and marcus in season 2.
@@KirkParsonsinPhilly Or romulus and remus, and maybe it's Paul who will, despite acting morally dubious in the episodes to come, will eventually found the new human civilisation because he has that rational edge being able to pass the tests like in the story.
As long as their holy text is accurate enough it can be encoded into the very DNA of the humans, ensuring that they always seek the same tech from the book, make the same two androids, and follow the same cycle. No time travel necessary. Indeed, their may be no "projections" or "voices" at all, but merely encoded DNA or digitally encoded memories, depending on human or android.
I like this theory of repeating Eden except for the time travel part. It’s much more interesting if time moves forward but the cycle continues. Just as history repeats itself this story is a never ending back and forth between earth and Kepler 22b. They alternate between self destruction on one planet and restarting on the other. No time travel to the past. Just a continual cycle of self destruction
I just finished season 1 and have been watching RBW videos all day and I'll tell you, WOW. This is the best one out of THEM ALL. I've never been to your channel and because of your well-deserved popularity and my tardiness, you'll probably never see this comment but you have points of interest and ideas about the show that no one on UA-cam has. If there was a stand up and applaud button on the keyboard, I would be mashing it, Sir.
Definitely saw your comment and really appreciate the kind words! Had a pretty crazy stressful day yesterday but seeing this comment was a big bright spot in that day, so thank you!
when mother and father fell to the core, they were seen melting. Why didn't they melt even after they passed the core? Did the core somehow teleport them backwards through time? Are mother and father the exact androids depicted in the painting found by Paul?
I think the core of Kepler22b is Sol and the "Intelligence" is the serpent/satan. They have been coexisting; warring, feeding off each other, since Adam and Eve where cast out of "the garden" and sent to Earth. Mother and Father, passing through the core, landing in the tropical zone, and releasing the serpent - a sort of baptismal rebirth - is obviously symbolic of Adam and Eve in the garden; or maybe returning. So, I wonder if Mother using the simulation pod (which we are repeatedly told she is not meant to use) is representative of Eve's being tempted by the serpent. Which I suspect is meant to repeat this never ending cycle.
@@AaronAlso this exactly. Kepler is the garden. In the Bible the serpent is cast "down* to walk below the earth (something like that, I haven't read the Bible in a while). These serpents tunnel in the earth. The serpent in the Bible also temped Eve with the knowledge of good and evil. I haven't connected that metaphor to the show yet. But it's there I'm sure. I think that in the show Earth isnt inhabited by humans yet, and eventually the garden will fall and humans will be cast out of Kepler (or forced to leave) to earth and have to restart civilization there. I just got done with the show, so Im still taking it all in.
@@thehenryperrin aye remember how fake Marcus was nudged in to the pit by what's supposed to be a devolved human. It was only after that he started seeing things. Then after that it repeatedly whispered to him to not kill mother and when he didn't seem to comply it made Marcus see a projection of himself which attached him, resulting in Marcus stabbing himself with the scalpel.
I think you figured everything out. "Eden cycle" and "the Intelligence" explains the core of the story and helped me understand the narrative better. This story is actually trying to reconcile Judeo Christian religion and scientific history. Where was the garden of eden? It was on another planet, while the dinosaurs roamed the earth.. mother and father's ship was the comet that made the dinosaurs extinct.. a nuclear weapon perhaps? And the neanderthals were the evolving native species while mother & father's embryos were being protected in the African sub-continent or the South American sub-continent.. this is like scientology hahahahahah! Great review, just great!
Your coverage of raised by wolves was legendary better than heavy spoilers and think story put together your channel will grow soon enough excellent in-depth quality
Did anyone else notice Carl says "They followed the formulas they discovered we encrypted in their scriptures". Who the hell is we? Was something speaking through Carl? I don't know if that was a slip up by the writers, or a massive clue that some intelligence was speaking through Carl to mother.
Thanks for all the great content on this show, Gil! I think it has a lot of great potential & the actors are amazing (especially Mother & Father). I’m glad that Sue seems to be alive as I like her character. I really hope they don’t go the evil AI cycle route (been done to death) nor the time travel route (same). I also hope the show doesn’t come back unrecognizable (and hopefully not a super long wait, the wait time between Expanse seasons is a killer). All and all tho, great show and your recap/theory videos have been the first vids I’ve watched after each episode. Thanks and I look forward to whatever content you’re putting out between seasons and on other shows!
I had a rough theory that sol was an unimaginably strong ai. Like humans originated on Kepler 22b and got advanced enough to discover the 5th force and make an ai. Also sol has some heavy Lucifer symbolism, being a giant hellscape in a pit
You’ve already cracked the whole series i’m impressed!! I also had similar thoughts but didn’t have the words to so perfectly tie everything together like you did!!
@The MacSo you tried so hard to sound smart that you forgot to think about what you were actually saying. Go ahead and reread your own comment and tell me how that makes sense to you
@The MacSo "no deduction makes time traveling not plausible" you tried a little too hard there buddy. So hard that you said the exact thing you were trying to disprove. Also, wormholes do have the potential for time travel. They're a connection point through space-time. Try learning about special relativity and maybe you'll get it lol
@@godlevelthreatgarou2418 I’m guessing he’s never heard of CERN, or any of the tests they’ve done to prove time travel is possible on different levels. They’ve proven it’s possible the only thing issue they’ve shown is you wouldn’t be able to control what point in time you go to. You can only go backwards and then you’re stuck there.
I wish they dont touch the time travel thing, time travel is very complicated and can lead to many plot holes and mindf**ks if not understood by writers enough. This was a masterpiece so far and I woudnt want this show to dilute into something forced
This bugs me so much. We just have to assume for now the newly birthed serpent we saw was in an infant stage where it functions as a parasite, and goes through a change as it matures to adulthood where the sucker mouth forms into a jaw.
@Jo Key what about wormholes? Holes literally created by giant worms that allows faster passage. Is kepler where this term originally came from? Next season will tell...
we missed the most obvious thing. Mother is a necromancer, which means "one who talks or summons the dead." I suspect Sol is "dead" and wants to become alive again, whatever tf that means in this show. The serpents are somehow part of this plan, they're probably the key to his resurrection.
I’ve had this idea from the start of the season that *maybe* the Campion that sent Mother and Father to Kepler 22 was the same Campion that’s born there that later somehow travels in time and goes back to earth and sends Mother and Father to Kepler 22.
Interesting. Seeing the serpent bones reminded me of the nuclear strike in Terminator 2. Maybe the previous Kepler 22B inhabitants wiped out the serpents in a similar fashion?
Definitely. I think Sol is obsessed with destroying humanity or at the very least turning them into docile creatures. The new dark photon serpent will be his ultimate weapon and the rest of the show will be a battle of wills to survive
If it's her own future skull, it has a mask on which may be to hide her eyes. If that necromancer is her future fate and has her eyes still she may retrieve them or be given them back by Kaleb to fight snakes.... Mind boggling show regardless lol
All very interesting theories, my dude. We know that The Ark could not land in the tropical zone... perhaps it is only accessible through one of the holes? Also, I would listen to you read the phone book.
How did Orthos (the bucket guy) heard the Sol even in the ark if he haven't came in contact with any sol things??(like the temple or the hole in the ground). He claimed that the Sol told him to rap the girls. Even if he did why did the sol told him to rap the girls?
Interesting theory, but I think you left out several important aspects. First, how does the prophecy of a mesiah come to this? The scriptures say there will be an orphaned boy on a barren planet, and there's some talk about a big city. The show focused on this a lot, so I guess this is going to be important. Secondly, what about Orthos, the bucket guy? He claimed he've heard Sol's voice that told him to rape the girls, and one of them is now pregnant. I feel like this is going to be important, since Sol is responsible for the Snake Baby, what will pop from the Tempest? Another snake?
I think ‘sol’ needs his companion species mankind, but prefers his tools, the androids, to be on his side as they’re the units that allow his serpent evolution. It may be that each timeloop cycle works best when mankind believes through faith that their slavery to sol is part of their own prophesy thus making them utterly suggestible with their own belief that it’s in their best interest to be obedient.
I've been scouring UA-cam for a good through breakdown of this show to dissect and debate with friends. Encounted a ton of ramblers and time wasters. This by far the best source bar none. Great job! See you in Season 2.
I have to agree, this was a pleasure to watch, enjoying the fanboying over this show bc I’ve been doing the same! It’s been hard looking for well-executed deep-dives for the series, and you completely re-contextualized the show for me, in the best way possible. Big fan, dude!
Same here. As how the Sandworms were seen as divine by the Fremen with the spice melange being this super drug that made almost everything possible. Perhaps there are still some factions of semi intelligent or fully intelligent humans on Kepler 22b that like the Fremen are zealots and still worship these things/Sol.
Interesting about the time schism. When they dove into the planet's center I thought for sure they would have burned up, it looked like they were breaking down. Seeing them "wake back up," I thought that time was going backward because how else would they repair their damage. It wasn't until I saw them come out from the ground that I realized they had just gone to the other side and not reversed in time, but it makes sense it was a time disorienting shot if time is wibbly wobbly where they came out!
I hate that everyone keeps saying that humans "devolved" you can only evolve. That means that the humans on keplar-22 actually evolved, they did to survive on a planet that wouldn't sustain humans as they were. So nature took over and they evolved in a way to allow them to survive, whether or not the god helped them evolve that way is debatable, evolution isn't debatable. Evolutions one goal is to make sure that species survives, and that's exactly what happened.
This video is surprisingly detailed and well supported and encompasses things that I didn't even catch. I am impressed. Also, there must be time travel involved. I think everything you said is pretty much supported. Great content. (and I am happy to see that that snake is not just another pointless monster but perhaps an important part of a particularly intriguing script)
Loved the show, really loved how the story was free to just go way out, my only criticism was they dangle a lot of questions in your face and rarely answer them. I don't need the grand design in one season but a better ratio of questions and answers would be nice, in my opinion anyway.
Mmm Interesting Just had to add this is a minute thing but remember in episode 2 Marcus was so cold he tethered himself to a rock and went to sleep 2 of the long faced thingy's pushed him in. This has been bugging me, food is scarce they were hunting for food or so I think why push a massive food source in to the pit. At first I thought they were feeding the other of their kind then I saw what was at the bottom. So why did they do it.?
Cos those creatures seeking food in holes, and holes are actually tunnels filled with dark energy beams from core. Those creatures was altered by beams long ago, they were actually ancient keplerians, but was altered and now just servant of Sol. They threw Markus at hole cos Sol ordered them to do so, and Sol was in need of a new human "agent", cos Ottho from Ark was enjailed. And Ottho stopped to hear Sol voice after crash, just at same time as Sol found new puppet Markus. This Sol is playing his own game using humans who was in hole, creatures, etc, everything that getting affected by dark beams altered forever. And if you died inside hole, well, your mind is part of core now. And your soul.

Earth is the Garden. Kepler is hell with the devil in the core. This whole season was the snake devil faction manipulating for its birth. Why we didn't see its influence until the girl fell, why Paul was deceived to throw the cards away and try to strand them. Why those devolved creatures tried to push Marcus down the hole... Etc etc. We haven't even seen or heard Sol yet.

@@LouSkunt44 the Campion who knocked up mother was not sol or the original creator, imo. It was the snake alien faction. They drove all the events of the season to get to a birthing spot that had its supporters near (4 legged creatures) and the all the food it needed couldn't get it away. It spoke to Paul to get him to strand them, then kill the doctor who could be a threat. It also showed him the cave paintings that I don't think were really there. The snakes have been shown to have telepathic like abilities. Snake got this info from mother while in womb. I think the core of the planet is theirs (hell symbolism) and the tunnels were their travel system. I think otho and Marcus got the twitcher virus and they're behavior is a red herring. Could be wrong there totally. I don't think we saw, heard, or witnessed the real sol at all this season. I think it was all to manipulate mother to get pregnant. How did they know she was there and could do that? The initial ship they arrived on fell into the hole. They were able to get current info from its databases as well as when the girl fell in. They were able to use her image to try to influence people. That also explains why 4 legged creatures tried to push Marcus into hole. So he could be absorbed and used. The black cloaked figures are anti snake faction, which explains their trying to give the cards for warning and trying to kill mother before she could give birth. The snake speaking to Paul to destroy the cards was to prevent mother from seeing whatever warning was in them.
One Thing i noticed, the a.i said "over and over and over and over again" which implies he's seen it repeated ALOT, giving credence to the fact we May be dealing with time travel, that or kepler 22b wasn't homosapiens origin world, but one in a long cycle of rise & fall of mankind leading to exodus, but that they brought him with em every time except this time since he turned against em on kepler
Never heard of Raised By Wolves. Watched E1 here on YT, yesterday. Immediately got HBO & binged the rest of S1. Best Sci Fi I've seen in many years. Gave me major Asimov vibes. Will likely re-watch today. Thoroughly enjoyed the analysis & theories in this vid. Looking fwd to future OneTake vids on this show.
Also big point on “what impregnated Mother?”.... we never actually see her lower half in that scene. Sure in the simulation it LOOKS like sex, but in reality I think something off screen was putting that thing inside of her. The Mithraic even said that she’d be at her most vulnerable in the sim. Just a theory, but I don’t think she got pregnant virtually. I think it was a distraction for an off-screen real life implant.
She tells you in the show if you listen it was data transferred to her that showed her how to create the fetus inside her... nothing impregnated her she was given the code to create that is all...
Yeah she probably has some 3-D printer esk capabilities & given how exhausted the planet seems for materials I think that’s the A.I’s best chance at getting a new semi artificial form
Before she went back to the sim pod, Tempest and Mother talked about nightmares and dreams, so I feel like she was having a dreamlike thing in the sim while someone/thing put into her the recipe for the serpent baby.
GREAT In Depth Analysis, very nice. I suppose I'm a bit confused about who, what, what process and when Mother was prepared to be knocked up and how and why have her go through an orgasmic humanesqe mating ritual. WAS she really constructed by an actual atheist who donned grown features of the child back on earth and actually captured and reprogrammed OR was that all a holo- dream and what actually happened was she was drawn to the plug interface and a creature there on Kepler 1b implanted an artificial snake embryo that genetically interfaced with the unknown mythraic tech to thus incorporate the cyborg coding enabling its flight and other capabilities? ADDITIONALLY, was the entity on Earth that captured her and performed the Frankenstein like procedures on her a Human? Or a evolved / devolved species from Kepler 1b who has surgically, physiologically etc. blended in with Earths human population ( like the Reptilian conspiracy theories of today?).. and does this mean the robed creatures are as smart as the programmer from Earth, fully knowledgeable of Mythraic Android physiology, coding, cognitive functionality ect.....????? PLEASE HELP
Could the Advanced A.I be David from Prometheus? The timelines match. From Prometheus to Alien Covenant To raised by wolves. I think David got too obsessed with playing God...i mean he was responsible for creating the Decon /Xeno.. Could be possible after alien covenant he took all the frozen embryos to kepler then tried his experiments there then failed again. But got betrayed by the humans he created from embryos and the Android in the box is actually David. David is Sol
The androids have similar white blood and the thing from mother’s vision definitely gave space jockey vibes. On top of that, the intelligence definitely seems to be experimenting in very David-esque ways. On the other hand, if you check out any of the recent Ridley Scott or Guzikowski interviews, they claim the similarities are just due to this show and those movies having similar themes + they just liked the aesthetic so visually, there are similarities. They claim there is no true “connection” and Raised by Wolves is its own continuity. Though who knows... they could be misleading us or they could even change their minds later!
Awesome video, I really enjoyed it. Thanks. Here's a way to prove if those creatures on Kepler are indeed related to humans: if human meat tastes like pork then you have your answer. Remember that scene when the Mithraic children tasted the creature's meat? The smartest kid said it tastes like pork.
As the skin that that father find still loosely hangs to the wall of the pit it, I think that is a freshly peeled snake skin. So they're not completely extinct. Further, I believe that snake skin might be from the snake that was being birthed during the vision mother had. And since the polyhedron and weird mask thingy were found although damaged but not too weathered, I don't think it happened to far in the past. It seems to me that the intelligence wants these snakes to re-emerge as the dominant species. So these two snakes might be the new Adam and Eve.
Those who had fallen into the pit have been affected in some ways(Tally, mouse). Then would Mother, Father, and the flying serpent also be affected by falling into the pit with the lander? If so, How?
Bravo, you among very few who noticed it. Holes filled with a beams of dark enegry that core emits thru them. Eveyone who affected is altered forever, they can hear voice, they can be watched, they can be controlled, they can make someone pregnant for seeding his altered DNA to born new kind of life. So, we have seen 3 pregant characters in season 1 - Mother, raped girl and Markus wife - he made sex with her after falling at hole, and see himself in mirror like Otho, who raped girl on Ark. So, she obviously pregnant now, and her baby, like girls baby, not a human being.
Everone speaking about dark photons, but nobody asks - where is the source of it? I think that Kepler's core is actually the source. Maybe its was created artificially, its not connected with planet, its just floating there inside. On cave picture we see ship with two androids filled with nine "seeds" of something. I think those seeds was not embrions to bring life on Earth, its 9 mini-cores of dark energy, substracted from Keppler core. We can see how they emits beams around them at that cave drawing. Like Keppler core itself emits dark energy beams thru the planet holes in all direction, similar to sun. Mini-cores where used to build 9 necromancers on Earth, every core is key for Necromancers abilities. Mother have such one inside her for sure. And who knows, maybe Father too, maybe he is one of 9 reprogrammed Necros from earth, and his abilities locked cos he don't have his eyes anymore, they was removed on Earth. Really, lets speak about Father. We don't know how Mother's creator gets Father, all we know that Father was already on the ship, but... who is he was before? He don't remember anything from Earth, like mother. He never mentioned his creator, or someone who send him on this mission. He knows only mission itself. Like Mother. They both came from one source, and both have erased memories. Why to erase Fathers memories if he just usual android? Also, usual androids wear usual human cloth, but Necromancers wears tight suits, cos since they can transfrom bodies they will lose usual cloth in seconds in fight. So, if both Mother and Father are Necromancers with dark cores inside, that actually explains how they survived when they pointed their ship at planet core. Core recognise them as "own" technology, and not only allowed them to pass, but even repairs them too (they both was literally melting before touching core). Or, maybe their inner core activated himself near its own source, and created protection shield, not really matter. Since its literally same force, they passed core safely. I think final goal of Sol is evolution itself. Its breeding machine. He can emits beams of dark energy at all directions, he can create new forms of life by altering creatures that was affected by that beams, he can manipulate those creatures and he can plan and create conflits among them to speed up evolution, cos to win you must be smarter then your enemy. He absorbs then new life forms, their minds, and add to hismelf cos he is like hive-minded creature, its like a food for Sol. But who created Sol, this is question. I think it was far more advanced race than humans, they created evolution machine in particular sector of galaxy to get most advanced race it can produce, or to get most advanced AI that can improve himself forever. Thier goals just cannot be understanded by human mind.
Regardless of what did and did not play out in Season Two from your theories here, I compliment you, sir, on what you've put together in your head. While I'm no expert on the entertainment industry, when I see the imagination and skill you possess, I get to wondering if a position of a writer, director, or show runner might suit you.
I don’t think the voice (or sol) directly influenced or controlled the de-evolution of the “humans” on 22-B, rather it seems more likely that they destroyed themselves with some form of advanced weapons (a la nuclear bombs) thus rendering the surface of the planet unlivable for a period and would explain why the fauna is still radioactive. This forced the survivors to live below the surface where over a very long period of time they actually evolved into the creatures that currently inhabit the planet. This would simplify a lot of the lore as de-evolution isn’t really a thing and the circumstances of living underground for such a period could select for traits that would lead towards a quadrupedal organism like the ones we see. I don’t think the voice has that level of direct control over carbon based life which is why it needed Mother and other androids to birth the snake creatures.
*Also Its Confirmed that the engineer's from Prometheus sent Jesus to earth as a teacher to the humans and then they crucified him which resulted in the engineer's wanting to destroy humanity. (Now we talkin about Garden of Eden?? Hmmm
Yes. I 100% believe Kepler is Eden. Eventually the humans will leave for earth, as predicted by the cave painting prophecy. Then that will be the birth of humanity on earth.
Maybe it’s not ‘Sol = Sun’ but ‘Sol = Soul’, with Soul being the geological scale AI within the planet. Add a dual meaning ‘Sol = Sole’, a single intelligence.
Here is something worth noting: Why does the "intelligence " uses the look of the hooded figure to disguise itself as Tally for example 🤔? Plot hole? Or doest is mean something 🤔 Or I'm just crazy ? 😂🤣
the engineer was hiding as their memories of her. Like when he made Campion impregnate her with the same creature that Shaw was in Prometheus, he used Mother's memories of the real Campion.
@@snakey319 Yes you are right but what is your point? That just shows they are a cultist/religious group the fact they wear hoods. I don't think it was an "engineer" that spoke to Mother in the sim. It's much more likely to be the being the "engineers" worship because we have not seen any of them in the present time; They may have all reverted to the canine-like humanoids (which is suggested to be the previous human population that has devolved according to father) Also there is the white fleshy humans who tried to push mother down the hole; going by their white, almost translucent appearance we can guess they may reside underground; Maybe away from the prying eyes of their "lord" thus they've retained some of their evolutionary traits and have not devolved to basic animals.
In one draft of my script, I theorized it would be an older Campion haha. I feel like when you put a character under a mask, you’re totally setting up a “ohh that’s what it was the whole time??” twist... now you add time travel... we’ll see! haha
This flying serpent remind of the world serpent Jörmungandr - son of Loki in Norse Mythology. "The serpent grew so large that it was able to surround the Earth and grasp its own tail", the one in the finale grew pretty fast.
Maybe, This Eden cycle is a means of evolution for the intelligence or Sol. Every time the cycle repeats itself, the Intelligence get some of its aspects advanced, like evolving from land snake to flying serpent.
I think that mother and father are following the Jewish mythology. Where mother is actually Lilith and father is Adam. In the Jewish myths prior to Eve there was Adam and Lilith, but Adam found distaste for Lilith and this made Lilith go crazy when he fell in love with Eve. There are stories of Lilith that circulate (I don’t know how true they are) that suggest that Lilith was vampire-like, and was one of the first female demons. There’s also a picture of Lilith from 1887 showing her naked hugging the serpent
Another sci fi possibility involves the main issue with interstellar travel and advancing technology resulting in ships after your arriving first. Like the forever war optioned by Ridley Scott but not produced, maybe the story characters arrived much later and a newer faster ship arrived before them, colonized, collapsed, and devolved. The androids and humans never really state how long their journey took in non relativistic time 12 years their time could have been 100,000 years in Earth/Kepler time. The radiation on Keppler could be from a prior nuclear war and the evil sentience is a leftover AI that saw humans escape earth’s destruction then destroy themselves again on Kepler. Hence it’s pessimism.
Campion was born dead, but revived then by tears from Mothers eyes. Adn mother eyes was necromancer ones, meaning they built with dark photons. So, Campion body is actually was altered by that strange force, in unknown way. At least he got radiation immunity, and who knows what else...
This is giving me major matrix vibes. The paintings Paul saw in the cave, made me think that this has happen before, and that what first brought humans to the planet in the first place, the devolved maybe because the conditions where not right to sustain human life (or as we have seen them struggle to find food to sustain the children) or that it new what was going to happen from the get go. Humans being there might have also lead to the extinction of the first snakes we see their bones everywhere , that's why the intelligent being wanted something that could not be destroyed and put the baby (indestructible snake) into mother, further confirming its hate for human beings.
I think the cave painting is a prophecy. They eventually will have to leave Kepler and go to earth. Then restart there. And that will then become human civilization as we know it now.
Check out my predictions for season two here! ua-cam.com/video/AAKrXeiO5e8/v-deo.html
Maybe they just had their environment changed to the extent that deevolution is like cellular entropy (?)
@@OneTakeVids really excellent points. I'm now a bit more open to the idea of "devolution."
I think the neanderthal skull was a historical fossil, not "devolution" in action.
That scene where mother and father fall into the center of the planet looks like a sperm fertilizing an egg. There's a metaphor there somewhere.
I think that is where the time travel happened, perhaps it is a metaphor to hint that they are going back to the “Beginning” to seed the planet with new life.
The Mithraic symbol itself looks like a star with wiggly radiating lines... or an egg fertilised over and over and...
This is hands down the best and most concise theory video for RBW I've seen. Well done!
Wow thanks Nestor!
Agreed! Well put! 👍🏻
@@OneTakeVids I see that too, especially if the cyclical theory is correct (which you make an amazing case for!)
Also, Mother introduces herself as 'Lamia' to Marcus and others - in Greek mythology Lamia was able to remove her own eyes, also she lost her children and had serpent qualities
She also was cursed by Hera to eat the children of other mothers in her grief of her own loss.
@@SevenThunderful Yeah with season 2 showing hints of other necromancers I think we'll see this happen to Mother.
In the cave when Mother finds the helmet and views the head inside it - I got the vibe it was a Necromancers head in decay.
Gotta be time loop situation. "Chained to time." "Destroy themselves over and over"
It's not devolution, it's the past being found by the future about to loop itself again
This the first show I’ve binge watched ……ever. Don’t let that adorable little face to the left fool you, that was me 73 years ago 🙃
Any adverse environmental factor could cause "devolution." The notion that it can only go in one direction is obviously ludicrous.

Wow thanks for the kind words Highwon!
Agreed. Most other videos are incoherent rambling in comparison.
@@Someone-to5cd Definitely an android, when mother took off the helmet you can see the synthetic skull
@@hhd2415 I ment the head of one of the robed aliens had what looked like a long snout. I agree they probably seeded multiple worlds.
Best theory so far. I don't know, this show has given me serious "great sci-fi" hope and I'd hate to be disappointed. We'll see.
Mother was also able to scan that metal card thing like a QR code.
Really great theory crafting based on impeccable analysis. Well done.
Thanks for the kind words, really appreciate it!
I finally feel at one with this show.
I like your thinking. Further, perhaps Campion and Paul serve as analogues to Abel and Cain.
@@KirkParsonsinPhilly Or romulus and remus, and maybe it's Paul who will, despite acting morally dubious in the episodes to come, will eventually found the new human civilisation because he has that rational edge being able to pass the tests like in the story.

This is my favorite show by a lot. I can’t believe it’s not more popular than it is
As long as their holy text is accurate enough it can be encoded into the very DNA of the humans, ensuring that they always seek the same tech from the book, make the same two androids, and follow the same cycle. No time travel necessary. Indeed, their may be no "projections" or "voices" at all, but merely encoded DNA or digitally encoded memories, depending on human or android.
Ahhhh, the Sol sigil represents the core of the planet, not the sun
Ha, that makes perfect sense 👌
Andy Andeeee I musta had a synap cuz it was my birthday lol
Big brain time I see
So the Catholics were right and Galileo was wrong? Sol is the center, not orbiting the planet :/
A planet is just a baby sun.
Just a continual cycle of self destruction
yes nailed it!
@@OneTakeVids WOW thank you! This made my day.
when mother and father fell to the core, they were seen melting.
@@jackwayne8809 that’s because the devolved humans are probably controlled by the ai, that’s why they’re seen eating and walking in the hole.
Nice. With the Actual serpents I didn't catch the metaphor that mother's dialogues in the simulation was an analogy for Eve being tempted by Satan
Say what!????😱😱😱😳😳😳
Very cool too how many "serpent gods" you can find in ancient drawings.

SickAndTired he clearly says ‘were’, not we
Thanks for all the great content on this show, Gil!
Thanks Matt! Pretty much fully agree with your thoughts and hopes for the show, and really appreciate the kind words as always!
I had a rough theory that sol was an unimaginably strong ai. Like humans originated on Kepler 22b and got advanced enough to discover the 5th force and make an ai. Also sol has some heavy Lucifer symbolism, being a giant hellscape in a pit
OMG this is the best review ever ever ever for Raised by the wolves!! I have absolutely nothing to add, it’s crystal clear!! So eloquently explained!
Wow! Thank you for your kind words Mihhnea!
You’ve already cracked the whole series i’m impressed!! I also had similar thoughts but didn’t have the words to so perfectly tie everything together like you did!!
They come out of a wormhole in the opening sequence, so time travel is very much possible.
@@oddyseysensai ummm you can technically go forward In time by traveling fast enough according to relativity
The mouth of baby snake is different compared to the other giants snakes remainings 🤔🤨
This bugs me so much. We just have to assume for now the newly birthed serpent we saw was in an infant stage where it functions as a parasite, and goes through a change as it matures to adulthood where the sucker mouth forms into a jaw.
No it looks like the trap that Paul made which i believe he made from under jaws off the giant snake type skeletons...maybe🤔🤔
I'm almost certain it's related to Mother's scream and it will be able to use it too.
It's that "alien" movie thing, the host affects the dna of the alien being born. So it changes as the host changes too.
I assumed it was evolving itself through timeloops with its partner species, man. Of course versions of both ‘species’ will be different each time.
What if ......when mother and father went through the core .....they also went through time .
My mind definitely did not go there when I watched the ep... but after that interview, gotta admit it’s a possibility haha
I don't think they went through time but they were in inside the core for a very long time enough for the child actors to be adults now.
My god
Past or future ?
@Jo Key what about wormholes? Holes literally created by giant worms that allows faster passage. Is kepler where this term originally came from? Next season will tell...
we missed the most obvious thing. Mother is a necromancer, which means "one who talks or summons the dead." I suspect Sol is "dead" and wants to become alive again, whatever tf that means in this show. The serpents are somehow part of this plan, they're probably the key to his resurrection.
The new dark photon serpent could very well be Sol incarnate now
Five to SIX SEASON WORTH OF CONTENT?????? I'm so ready, take my money! Great video, all makes sense and 100% and aligns with provided evidence imo.
Absolute best, most coherent and well thought out theory video out there.
Thanks floetic!
I’ve had this idea from the start of the season that *maybe* the Campion that sent Mother and Father to Kepler 22 was the same Campion that’s born there that later somehow travels in time and goes back to earth and sends Mother and Father to Kepler 22.
in all honesty...i hope not. i don't like time travel used to over complicate a story that is already quite dense.
Then why will campion made her and why did campion kissed her?
Interesting. Seeing the serpent bones reminded me of the nuclear strike in Terminator 2. Maybe the previous Kepler 22B inhabitants wiped out the serpents in a similar fashion?
Definitely. I think Sol is obsessed with destroying humanity or at the very least turning them into docile creatures. The new dark photon serpent will be his ultimate weapon and the rest of the show will be a battle of wills to survive
I thought Mother had to get back her weapon eyes from Ragnar, but she can just take them from the Necromancer skull. Nice.
Thanks Fabdanc! Really appreciate the kind words!
Yea, great voice :)
The electromagnetic zone probably messed up with the telemetry units that are used to land the ark, hence not allowing them to land successfully
Superb conjecture - Best analysis and speculation of this series! Also confirmation that there will be multiple series - Bravo!
Good points as well.
Yaa but if the baby is snake then why is it growing so slow as compared to that of the snake from the mother?
@@naveenyadav9696 Mother is advanced android, tempest is normal human.

AHHHHHHHH SEASON 2 NEEDS TO COME OUT NOW!!!!
I have to agree, this was a pleasure to watch, enjoying the fanboying over this show bc I’ve been doing the same! It’s been hard looking for well-executed deep-dives for the series, and you completely re-contextualized the show for me, in the best way possible. Big fan, dude!
This makes me think of the “pearls of awareness” of Leto II in the later Dune novels, present in the sand worms of Arrakis.
Same here. As how the Sandworms were seen as divine by the Fremen with the spice melange being this super drug that made almost everything possible. Perhaps there are still some factions of semi intelligent or fully intelligent humans on Kepler 22b that like the Fremen are zealots and still worship these things/Sol.
@@DarkLadyAthena1 I hope! I can’t wait to see how the story unfolds, especially since Guzirkowski said he had 5-6 seasons worth of story!
Timey-wimey!
The intro animation and the song to this show is so incredible. I listen to it every time.
Mmm Interesting
Just had to add this is a minute thing but remember in episode 2 Marcus was so cold he tethered himself to a rock and went to sleep 2 of the long faced thingy's pushed him in.
@@pavelpopov9904 Interesting.

I have a question though. How did Otho (the prisoner) hear the voices even though he has no direct contact with the planet’s ‘artifacts’?
He was hearing voices before even arriving on keppler 22b, and those voices stopped once the ark crashed. Maybe his voices came from elsewhere.
@@coquijams1 True. That's why it is a bit inconsistent to the physical contact leads to communication theory. But his goal is similar to the voice's goal which is to get someone pregnant which makes it interesting. Who is whispering to him?

@@coquijams1 since they discovered their tech and most important the dark photon in the scriptures, maybe the dark photon IS the entity in some sort of sentient energy, soul like form, it instructed the ancestors to write the scriptures in case he was destroyed so he could be brought back, the temples may be for it to come back in a more powerful form, and if does not work then he lets mother and father go back in time through the core, maybe thats why mother can interface with the metal cards so maybe its all a Skynet like loop

Sol was Campion in the sim speaking to mother.
@@LouSkunt44 that was the snake
@@LouSkunt44 edit: so I think. I could be totally wrong of course.
@@oatlord What snake? The snake was created during the mating process witnessed within the simluation. Whatever Campion is, is the main antagonist of everything that has happened in the show it appears to be. Either 'Sol' (The Kepler 22bs Humans "god" which earth humans inherited (along with dark photon technology to create necromancers) Which as the video hints to, is most probably a extremely advanced and sentient AI(created by the humans of Kepler 22b. [I.E SkyNet]. The video shows evidence to this due to the "entity" being able to communicate whilst within a digital matrix with much ease as compared to whispering broken sentences into the ears of organics.
The pentagonal temple reminded me so much of the computer in "The Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy", I lolled big time.

This is a brilliant analysis of the show. Thanks for doing the heavy lifting for the fans. It makes a lot more sense now.
@@AngryAndy_ Yeah but that was just her way of trying to skirt around admitting she had sex which is why father corrects her after and she agrees

PLEASE HELP
Thank you for putting this together. Lots of great attention to detail. I want to watch it all over again now and dig further into it all!
That would be one hell of an insane, and devious plot twist. lol
As usual , great analysis . I look forward to hear more as season 2 begins later this year

Awesome video, I really enjoyed it. Thanks. Here's a way to prove if those creatures on Kepler are indeed related to humans: if human meat tastes like pork then you have your answer. According to Polynesian tribes that partake in cannibalism, humans do in fact taste like pork. Fun fact :)

Not only did I like and subscribe,I came back, watched again. And posted your video to the Raised by Wolves subreddit.
Those who had fallen into the pit have been affected in some ways(Tally, mouse). Then would Mother, Father, and the flying serpent also be affected by falling into the pit with the lander? If so, How?
The knowledge of evil that lurks the planet. Satan allegory?
Bravo, you among very few who noticed it. Holes filled with a beams of dark enegry that core emits thru them. Eveyone who affected is altered forever, they can hear voice, they can be watched, they can be controlled, they can make someone pregnant for seeding his altered DNA to born new kind of life. So, we have seen 3 pregant characters in season 1 - Mother, raped girl and Markus wife - he made sex with her after falling at hole, and see himself in mirror like Otho, who raped girl on Ark. So, she obviously pregnant now, and her baby, like girls baby, not a human being.
@@pavelpopov9904 and Otho said Sol told him to be fruitful haha oh man
Everone speaking about dark photons, but nobody asks - where is the source of it?
Possible corollary to Clark’s Law: ‘A sufficiently advanced technologist is indistinguishable from a god.’ => the AI Sol
Absolutely love the way you’ve woven the plot together!!!! A.I that’s what I starting to think .... Liked✅...Subscribed✅... 🙏🏼
It is all fun and theories with that shows...until final seasons comes up.
Regardless of what did and did not play out in Season Two from your theories here, I compliment you, sir, on what you've put together in your head. While I'm no expert on the entertainment industry, when I see the imagination and skill you possess, I get to wondering if a position of a writer, director, or show runner might suit you.
They stranded in a time loop. so when they discover the painting coz it's happening again and again, sounds dark sequel to me😂
I don’t think the voice (or sol) directly influenced or controlled the de-evolution of the “humans” on 22-B, rather it seems more likely that they destroyed themselves with some form of advanced weapons (a la nuclear bombs) thus rendering the surface of the planet unlivable for a period and would explain why the fauna is still radioactive.
All of your theories make sense.great thinking.well done
Maybe it’s not ‘Sol = Sun’ but ‘Sol = Soul’, with Soul being the geological scale AI within the planet. Add a dual meaning ‘Sol = Sole’, a single intelligence.
Best explanation on UA-cam I've subscribed right away 👍👍
Here is something worth noting:
Why does the "intelligence " uses the look of the hooded figure to disguise itself as Tally for example 🤔?
Plot hole? Or doest is mean something 🤔
Or I'm just crazy ? 😂🤣
the engineer was hiding as their memories of her. Like when he made Campion impregnate her with the same creature that Shaw was in Prometheus, he used Mother's memories of the real Campion.
😂😂👏👏I think the same 🤔
Because Tally fell into the hole, Where the "Intelligence" Resides. I think it could use the image of whomever fell into the hole.
@@LouSkunt44 but the engineers were all in hoods in Mothers premonition.
One of the best and most insightful ending explained videos I’ve watched. Now subscribed
I'm calling it now 10/5/20. The hooded figure is Father from some kind of time warp.
In one draft of my script, I theorized it would be an older Campion haha. I feel like when you put a character under a mask, you’re totally setting up a “ohh that’s what it was the whole time??” twist... now you add time travel... we’ll see! haha
I think it’s Paul as it knows how to set traps
This flying
serpent remind of the world serpent Jörmungandr - son of Loki in Norse Mythology.
The cave painting clearly shows a planet with snakes inside.
I think the cave painting was a prophecy. The snakes come back which forces humans and AI to escape to earth. Sort of "cast out" of eden.
I still believe Campion has a huge secret and a key role in the story. Just the fact that he wasn’t affected by radioactivity is intriguing
His name is "champion" minus the H, so possibly a 'bowl of foreshadowing'
Didn't mother and father have 12 embryos and the picture has 9 so it can't be them no? Idk I'm confused lmao!
I think the cave painting is a prophecy. They eventually will have to leave Kepler and go to earth. Then restart there. And that will then become human civilization as we know it now.
