I loved this video, I live just outside Glasgow and some of those places to eat I'd never heard of, I will try and go to some of those places in the future once Covid is gone and we can all go out again. Wish I could have met you when you were in Glasgow.
Ah yes, Döner Kebab haha.. so many memories with that food, well probably some more that i cannot remember anymore if you catch my drift. Great video man was fun to see this
This is a nice tour but I'm missing the names of the places a lot. The noodle place looks nice but what is the name? Where is it? Now I still don't know how to go there ... Also not in the description...i hope you can still add them? Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed the trip, all the food looked so good. especially the puddings. now i just need to know if you liked the IRN-BRU wish i could plop around eating, but dont have the funds for all that, maybe someday
Yes!! This is awesome. Sometimes it’s good to evolve. As long as it’s with food. Wait, are you eating stroopwafels in Scotland?!?!? I love how Rach steals the toffee sticky pudding 😂😂😂😂. It does have the look of HP architecture.
Hi only to give you a update. The doner kebab you have is a german style doner with beef or chicke which is in a fladenbrot which is in general eaten with hands. The english doner is done in a pizza bread or so and has lamb. The german version has much more flavour then the English one.
I have only just found your channel and it's really weird seeing you in places that i know. and have been to. glasgow is my town. I hadn't watched the whole video but you were so close to were I live, also loops and scoops 😁😁😁 but it's weird seeing everything open.
Glad you enjoyed your trip to Glasgow best place for Japanese food in Scotland is in East Kilbride just outside Centre. Rooky mistake every Indian place serves HUGE portions. Not been to loop n scoop definitely gonna go after seeing that. Whisky over tenants any day of the week. Donna kebab is amazing I've still to to watch Edinburgh one but hoping you slummed it with a munchy box and big Scottish breakfast at one point.
If you make haggis ad 50% mince meat(porc, sheep or rabbit). I know is not traditional but the taste is way better. As herbs I recomand using tarragon and some garlic. In the same composition if you add blood and red wine you get a wonderful blood sosage. If you add 70% rice and you mince the meats as smooth as a pate you get Lebber that is so delicious. Also everything is way better if you smoke them for 2 to 3 days.
this is a breath of fresh air... i love the cooking vids i learn a lot but this just seeing you enjoy is really a wonderful sight... you should make this a thing when ever you go travel and just try out food...:) P.S. if I see you in my country i would definitely challenge you to a Shokugeki hehehe... And also show you the wonders of our country... hehehe...
That Japanese place at the start was Nanakusa right? I went there to practice my chopstick skills before moving to Japan 8 years ago. Was really cool to see again.
In germany we have a doner (döner) kebap shop almost everywhere. I think it's also the most popular or at least one of the most poular fast foods here. And you can find a really good doner for 5-6 dollar. By the way loved this video.
I had plans to travel to Europe this year, but sadly this pandemic ruined that, but this video gave me some ideas of cool places to visit, so thank you for this video
Man, it feels so weird to see people without masks on. Dope video though! Would love to see more of these in the future if we ever get back to a "normal" state.
@@CHEFPKR fr 😂 great video tho made me discover new places to eat in Glasgow I didn’t even know existed, gonna check those out next time I go after Covid
Sticky Toffee Pudding in Scotland is one of the best things I've ever eaten in my life! As soon as I saw the title I hoped you tried it too and I'm not disappointed with your reaction. My wife actually made some this week and I inhaled it. She's a great baker. You should do a collab, or maybe it'll be a recipe challenge for you.
Doner is so good, the best is doner box, it's all the insides piled on top of fries. Good doner places are to germany what good burrito places are to san diego
@@CHEFPKR Oh you missed an amazing shawarma place called Shawarma King. The Shawarma they deliver is soo juicy and meaty but at the same time, its not too overwhelming so it just pronounces the meat flavour. Soo good! Next time maybe check out that place!
I hope you made it to Edinburgh. The Elephant House cafe there is where Harry Potter was written, as well as the real school hogwarts was "based on", and a cool cemetery with the characters names.
Thank you to Curology for Sponsoring this video: curolo.gy/chefpk
Wishing all the best to the friends we made in Scotland.
I have found out your secret on how you comment so early chef pk
That Doner Kebab, the Indian grub, and the ice cream & churros? UGH! DROOL-worthy!!! 🤤🤤🤤

it's funny seeing chef out of his natural habitat (the kitchen), he's evolving hehe

Exciting to see a new kind of video! A breath of fresh air! Especially considering the quarantine thing. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! This was taken back in March and I have learned so much since then. I'll make sure to apply that knowledge to Tokyo :)
Love these types of vlogs. It's great seeing you try food and stuff
you can actually do this as a series where you go out and explore and try foods from around the world
of course until covid ends that is
Food is the numer one reason to travel, imo
For someone who lives in Glasgow, I can agree that loop & scoop is great!
Imagine going different parts of the world like joichiro and doing shokugeki
D best
or going around the world doing dojo (kitchen) challenges...
Ah yes, Döner Kebab haha.. so many memories with that food, well probably some more that i cannot remember anymore if you catch my drift. Great video man was fun to see this
