Hated the design choices made for the Wolverine Anime. Made him too tall and thin as well as young. The violence was actually a true hallmark of Wolverine though.
I’m disappointed they gave Storm the Mohawk look again for X-Men 97. The only good Mohawk look Storm ever had was as Bloodstorm in the Mutant X comics.
I think for some reason X-Men Evolution guys hated Gambit so much. He only appears for 2 episodes entire show. And hes the only character did not join final Apocalypse battle where all other xmen and brotherhood characters are present.
Anime has different styles. That X-Men anime did not look like Ghibli(Nausica) s, Gainax(Gunbuster), or the style used in Gall Force. Definitley does not look like Pokemon. It's like comparing Yogi Bear to Fimation's He-Man.

i don’t think they hated him, at least his story was actually developed in an episode unlike colossus.
