Totally I didn’t get to see any of the differences between the two or similarities with the finished result The colour The placement A respond from The stylist on texture and her opinion on outcome ??
I have curly hair but I just love how this looks on straight hair !!!!! I really want this baby light on my curls. Don’t really want ribbons like I’ve seen other curly girls have.
Great tutorial - but the First thing that popped in to my head when you started painting and checking the underneath of the section for bleedthrough was ‘so what would you DO if there were bleedthrough???’ Small details like that make or break an application...
I have dark hair and the length is the same as the model. My hair is virgin, never done any color treatment! I want to ask for your suggestion what should be the approximate price range for this session, should I go to try out in any hair salon? I do not want to be robbed hehe! Great video, thanks Kenra :)
Hello and thank you for reaching out! We definitely encourage you to get a service like this done in a hair salon. You can get started with just really subtle balayage service and add more brightness later on. Unfortunately, we are unable to give you specific prizing information because each stylist charges so differently based on their location, level of expertise etc. ☺️
Hi there! This was a half and half head (split down the middle) to showcase the difference in two different techniques: hair painting (without foils) and foilayage (with foils.) On the hair painting side, Kelly used diagonal back sections in each quadrant, all the way to the front just like she demonstrated in the back. In the foilayage section, she added a few babylights in foils around the hair line to give it a nice, face framing pop. Typically you would want to choose one method or the other when working on a real client for consistency throughout the look. We hope this helps!
Hi there! For the foil application, Kelly used a lightener that is no longer available. We recommend using any of our Simply Blonde powdered lighteners for lightening inside foils. We hope this helps!
Thanks for the video. Feedback to your video … it needs better lighting and the ending needs to show really the difference of those techniques. Other than that great explanation.
When you don’t know Kenra you don’t know what she toned with so no point. Doesn’t show what she did entirely either except for the baby lights on one side... kind of a pointless video to watch
I loved this tutorial. Could you please next time spend a little more time showing the end result?
Thank you for your feedback, we'll keep this in mind when editing upcoming videos ☺️

Awesome, thank you, Desiree!

Sadly on curly hair, baby lights doesn't look good :( I had and I wear my hair naturally curly... I learned that what looks best are chunky lights.
Such a great tutorial!
Thank you for watching!

At the last what is the name of color she used???
Her lightening formula information can be found at 0:26 & 3:04, Toner information at 5:40 -->
What kind of bleach did you use inside the foils? Thank you

Great job! Please show a little longer finished work. It was to fast to see final results.
Thank you. We'll keep this in mind when filming new content ☺️

Just watched this to get an idea of the differences but it was left out! 😭
Hi Shelly! Each technique was done on one side of the head to give an idea of the differences between them. Hope that helps!
