Love the project, Vasily. Use cardstock to template around the cowl area, shock mounts, hell maybe all edges. Then weld +/-1" strips around those edges to strengthen and bring the reveal lines to where you want them. It would be sweet if you could do a colored lacquer coat over the sheet metal and show the welds.
Very cool man. It would be crazy if you could enclose the whole "cab" and add heat to it along with air vents so that you could cruise that thing year round.
Dude I’d love to see you fully enclose that thing, windshield doors and all! Would look effin crazy seeing that thing rip down the roads or through the desert
Looks good. I would have cut out the panels and made them all fit between the tubing and be held on by Dzus fasteners but it’ll look good as all one piece like your doing.
Hey bud here's idea you might want to try getting some dzus fasteners. It'll make it easier to make panels in smaller sections and 1000 times easier to remove. Race cars doing way faster then that cart will go use them. Like the build
I'd be careful with those turn signals in the mirrors. I know in my state any blue lights are illegal, especially if they're flashing, and I'm sure it's like that in other states too.
The more i watch your videos, the more i appreciate your efforts and developing skill sets. You learn from your mistakes and move on. That is how you become a good fabricator. Your work is good and will continue to get better. Good for you.
That is pretty cool! But you should be using 1.2 mm or 1.6mm or whatever that is in imperial. Cheaper , bends easier and you don’t need much strength I have a video on my channel making panels for my buggy out of 1.2mm aluminium it came out pretty good
Really interested as to how the dirt legal process is. Please give as much detail as you can on it because id love to have some stuff legalized. It just seems super iffy because i cant get an exact explaination of HOW they make it legal. Im looking forward to more info on that.
I really feel like if you watched a bunch of Ron Covell videos about working in aluminum, it would really help you out because he shows you how to do cheap metal bending jigs and stuff like that.... He's a Legend of body panel fabrication and he can make the coolest bomber seats on UA-cam.
I'm kind of glad that prices are up in America. It's making them think twice about wasting stuff. The "extremely high" prices there are "normal" prices elsewhere.
Looking good. Don't sweat the aluminum. It took me years to get decent working with it. But, you're turning into a GYM-BRO, pretty soon you'll be hanging with Bradley Martin, lol.
I second the Ron Covell videos man, the man is an absolute wizard. I would also suggest you get yourself a nibbler. I have a Bad Dog Tools one, and I couldnt be happier. Keep at it man!!! Im also extremely interested in the street legal battle, excellent stuff
So cool, this is my next project got sick of rolling my hammerhead buggy with 100+hp and changing gearing so onto safer and more fun things fingers crossed i can get AWD working
Cardboard, trace, cutt, mount.... Repeat.... Saves 175 dollar sheet of aluminum from going to scrap.... 55gallon plastic barrels work really good as well, maybe even better since theyre double the thickness and half the weight.... Heat gun and ur done... 10 bucks a barrel.... ???????
Awesome build!! Quick question, where would be the best place for me to find an engine with everything I need?? New to this, so this may be a stupid question. Thanks Vasily!
Im sure someone has mentioned it, but those shock mounts on the front lower a arms look like theyre too close together. It looks like at full sag the bottom part of the shock will bottom out on the other mount location. This thing is badass regardless!
Carbon wrap the pannel to match the spoiler and id do the seat and spray the frame a mad color like metalic plum or cream with black control arms and wrap them carbon
What state u live in brother? The weather looks nicer than Detroit in yer videos. Always use posterboard/cardboard. You did awesome tho, looks tough, and yer hella capable as a builder much love and respect bro.
I wonder if you had a complete motorcycle, cut the stem off the frame, mounted it on your frame nicely, took it and your title to your friendly Hiway Patrol, if that would fly? Just a thought!!!
Man this guy has all the tallent in the world I wish he’d just make his videos a little longer he’ll give us a ten min, video and six min, of that are time lapse lol it’s just if he want to make a living at the u-tubing thing he should at least act like he’s all in

🙄 what he said 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Making this bad boy street legal is the icing on the cake. Love your vids👍
As my buddy says, "beat to fit, grind to match." LoL All funnin aside, the body work looks pretty darn good for your fist go.
Little tip for people building there own carts, the vin can be on the engine
Very cool man. It would be crazy if you could enclose the whole "cab" and add heat to it along with air vents so that you could cruise that thing year round.
Thats to heavy
It's a cross kart not a toyota corolla
@@fullmetaljacket7 I know exactly lmao
Keep hitting that skinny pedal young man!💪🏼 You got a bright future fabricating!
The vision you have for this thing is crazy, one of the best karts out there for sure!
much thanks!
Agreed 🔥
I'm excited for this build, can't wait to see the end result
I'm glad your being honest about your mistakes it makes it more interesting to watch
Nice recovery with the aluminum panel! Most would have just scrapped it!
Such a cool project!!!
The front needs a spoiler so it looks balanced with the rear wing.
Good luck Vasily. We know you'll get it all done right.
That's a tough break with the aluminum. I'm sure you'll get it worked out, though. 👍
Dude I’d love to see you fully enclose that thing, windshield doors and all! Would look effin crazy seeing that thing rip down the roads or through the desert

It was a cart that tried to kill you before....i hope brakes werent neglected on this one?
I'd be careful with those turn signals in the mirrors. I know in my state any blue lights are illegal, especially if they're flashing, and I'm sure it's like that in other states too.
I think you did just fine for your first time around. We learn from our mistakes and nothing wrong with that.
I love that your making a body for this. I see too many power wheels bodies or just naked buggies. This thing is friggin cool.
Vasily, looking jacked my guy, glad to see your getting work done and staying on top of things! stoked to see your build. God bless.
Thanks! 🙏I've been slacking on the gym lately
The more i watch your videos, the more i appreciate your efforts and developing skill sets. You learn from your mistakes and move on. That is how you become a good fabricator. Your work is good and will continue to get better. Good for you.
Great project, will look amazing (already does) when the body is done!
Been watching this progress for so long. I’m happy for you my lad!
That is pretty cool! But you should be using 1.2 mm or 1.6mm or whatever that is in imperial. Cheaper , bends easier and you don’t need much strength I have a video on my channel making panels for my buggy out of 1.2mm aluminium it came out pretty good

It’s looking freaking awesome! Your doing well with the tools you have!
I really feel like if you watched a bunch of Ron Covell videos about working in aluminum, it would really help you out because he shows you how to do cheap metal bending jigs and stuff like that.... He's a Legend of body panel fabrication and he can make the coolest bomber seats on UA-cam.
Such a cool build. Looks awesome. Looking forward to seeing the body finished.
You guys are awesome! Incredibly talented! You’re building things that I could only dream of building! Very cool!
I'm kind of glad that prices are up in America. It's making them think twice about wasting stuff.
The "extremely high" prices there are "normal" prices elsewhere.
man i’m building a GSXR600 cross cart with walker evans shocks atm just popped the new engine in last night. love your builds
Looking good. Don't sweat the aluminum. It took me years to get decent working with it. But, you're turning into a GYM-BRO, pretty soon you'll be hanging with Bradley Martin, lol.
Really coming along! Looks awesome, will be a sick street machine 👍🏼🤩
Always a pleasure to see a progress video on this thing 🤘
Cool kart! You can buy aluminum that is annealed or a softer 3003. Also .063 is thick for a body try .032
not only does it look good it sounds even better, great stuff thanks
dont know why but im just now getting into your channel. your pretty awesome dude! rock that stuff out and the cart sounds CRAZY
You’re not worried about melting the shock bushing while welding with it in place Great channel love the build
It's a solid metal hemispherical bushing
@@VasilyBuilds Awesome keep up the good work great channel
You do some great builds. You need a nice shop for more great builds. 👍👌
Looking good Vasily! Like the wing and slim brake light !
Hope you're planning on a having at least a LITTLE windshield, because with that hood it is going to be ramping air RIGHT into your face.
Molto bello.
Beautiful. 💪💪👍👍👍🇮🇹🖐️
That thing is looking so bad ass. Great build!
I second the Ron Covell videos man, the man is an absolute wizard. I would also suggest you get yourself a nibbler. I have a Bad Dog Tools one, and I couldnt be happier. Keep at it man!!! Im also extremely interested in the street legal battle, excellent stuff

Looks absolutely EPIC bro 🔥
Awesome build 🔥👍✌️
Sweet build Vasily. Love it
Great build brother. I want to build one just like it. Except I have a 500cc Polaris snowmobile motor.
Esse carro são top10 😮😮😅😅
Looks wild... Definitely need to Rip it
Miss your videos man I love them
Cardboard, trace, cutt, mount.... Repeat.... Saves 175 dollar sheet of aluminum from going to scrap.... 55gallon plastic barrels work really good as well, maybe even better since theyre double the thickness and half the weight.... Heat gun and ur done... 10 bucks a barrel.... ???????
What blade are you using in your circular saw to cut the aluminum?
Just a regular diablo framing/wood blade
@@VasilyBuilds thanks man. I guess with aluminum you just need carbide teeth and you’re good.
Looking Good The Buggy.Great Video
hi vas i think your front shocks are upsidedown loving the build keep it up mate
He knows alot more than literally any of use shocks cannot be upside down they are not directional
Awesome build!! Quick question, where would be the best place for me to find an engine with everything I need?? New to this, so this may be a stupid question.
Thanks Vasily!
Can't forget to use CAD. Cardboard aided design!
It would be fun to see this run at the Grind hard place or cars and cameras on the new course
Looks like the front sits low but awesome build man I’m building one now got a gsxr 750 motor to run it
Im sure someone has mentioned it, but those shock mounts on the front lower a arms look like theyre too close together. It looks like at full sag the bottom part of the shock will bottom out on the other mount location. This thing is badass regardless!
Carbon wrap the pannel to match the spoiler and id do the seat and spray the frame a mad color like metalic plum or cream with black control arms and wrap them carbon
I like your videos, in Germany you wouldn't have a chance to drive this kart unless you have a huge property, greetings from Germany
I love this, i wish i could do this in Texas.
I love this build so much! Impeccable skills man 😎🤌
What state u live in brother? The weather looks nicer than Detroit in yer videos.
Always use posterboard/cardboard. You did awesome tho, looks tough, and yer hella capable as a builder much love and respect bro.
Very nice work , Im learning 👍
Looking ever so sweet brother! Cant wait to see it finished. Thanks for the video, I know Its a lot of work too, be safe :)
As always Young man enjoyed the video keep the bills coming
Thanks! Will do!
Just take your time and do it right is all I can say. I know how to paint and fix body panel damage but I sure don't know how to weld. :P
Looking good.
When you can just listen and know it's good welds..
Louvre sounds like loover
That isn't a hood, it is just a body panel.
Looking good
Good work dude
It’s coming along
What steering rack did you use?
Why no x brace in the top of the roll cage?
I wonder if you had a complete motorcycle, cut the stem off the frame, mounted it on your frame nicely, took it and your title to your friendly Hiway Patrol, if that would fly? Just a thought!!!
Could you do a build breakdown on this and how much time/money it actually cost for somebody to do this at home?
Yes! Once this thing is painted and done. Spolier its up there
@@VasilyBuilds which muffler do you have on here? Sounds epic, and it's only a 600? Would have thought it's a 1 liter with that sound. Perfection
Very nice my friend
No louvers! Do scoops on the side
You could try using fiber glass as well.
My good friend ... I have 6 words for You ... Carbon Fiber
Give it slicks and take it to a track!
🔥🔥🔥
Make panels out of pieces and weld them together, it's simpler and much easier
To sand it and grind it out takes hours. + They warp when you weld them. Especially this thin
Hey Vasily! We're did the spoiler come from?!?!
Wooo man, I love your buggy or Go Kart, I don't know, how much is that?
As always great job vasily it's coming along nicely 👍 💯✌❤🙏2u@yours
NIce save
It needs a front hood spoiler like on a dirt Sprint car
Do you sell any of your builds?? The shifter kart? This one?
Where are you located?
I have buggy project and I need some help
es una buena idea usar planchas de aluminio asi si tienes un golpe solo te corta un brazo o la cabeza
did you use someone elses plans to build your cart? if not, how did you figure out your design?
I looked at others on Google and just went from imagination
Man this guy has all the tallent in the world I wish he’d just make his videos a little longer he’ll give us a ten min, video and six min, of that are time lapse lol it’s just if he want to make a living at the u-tubing thing he should at least act like he’s all in
You really need to start thinking things through.
Congrats you made a Sierra XR3 or is it X3
You and rather be welding have some cool builds
Paint that front shroud blue or red
