It also blows my mind that whoever did your alignment previously put the adjustment so visibly far off centre, and somehow didn't notice, or occur to them that something must be very wrong. Unbelievable!
1.2° is very light, try between 1.8- 2.3°, soft front sway and mid rear, open all your ducts and push the spoiler into its most aggressive setting. You'll dial out the understeer that way and make it truly balanced.
Max, you really enjoy your Porsche very much, be it 987.2, be it 981 GT4, this really touches me. Your smile is right from your enjoyment, but nothing else. I am stuck at whether I should get one too, or put the money in the bank. After seeing your video, I hope I can make the same decision as yours.
Thanks for your kind words. Paying off debts is always a good idea. Depending on your stage in life and so many other things, only you can decide what gives you more pleasure. Money on a Cayman or reduce your borrowings? If you have no borrowings much easy to answer! Life is not a dress rehearsal and I may not be financially rich but I try to have a rich life while I am fit and able. Wish you all the best in your future choices👍🏼

None that will affect your ride. There are some shims used in the front headlight system so when you go over bumps the headlights shift accordingly. I think it’s called the litronic system or something like that.

My question is because I bought a 2nd hand 981 GT4 and I think I can see a shim in the front wishbone and I wonder if this is something that the previous owner had added or it's something stock. The shim benefit is it does not come in the area of unsprung weight.. like a spacer..
