*BRAND NEW* Metroline BDEs enter service on Route 142! | BDE2761 LG22AXS

Today, the first NEW Electric BDEs (originally for Route 204 but now for 142) entered service. Before people mention it, yes, Metroline already operate BDEs on Route 43, and whilst these are almost identical, the new ones feature new electric blinds and windows on the staircases, etc..
So it was originally 2 in service but a third entered later on in the day, the other was in Watford so I only caught this one, I highlighted some of the features of this new bus and caught some footage of it. There were some other Spotters there including ElectroDekka so please check out his channel too.

Yeah, they were ordered a while ago, and I think that was on trial with abellio, but otherwise I agree It would be nice to see that. Maybe in the future

Nice video. These EV buses are much reliable than the standard enviro 400's as they build more power on the hills. Unlike the Enviro 400 which they are so slow on the hills.

Think these were ordered a while ago, when the new bus type was only on trial, in the future they will probably use it, there's a Demonstrator type on route 134 (LV22AGX)
