The emotional release I experienced from this session is almost indescribable. There is so much catharsis and healing in this practice, thank you for sharing it with the world. I feel so connected to my body.
These are great. Thank you! I've been looking forward to them every day. The echoes of a bad accident and chronic pain are beckoning me to thank you. I was in a bad accident a few years ago and also suffered an enormous personal tragedy. My heart and body were broken. I was lost in terrible grief and weak from "chronic diffuse pain" (neuropathic) and could barely walk from other complications. Then, amidst the storm, I discovered a beacon of hope: Yin yoga. Your free online videos, along with two other instructors, became my daily anchors. For about a year, I surrendered to your calming voice and gentle poses, stretching past the ache, finding strength in stillness. But with each dragon pose, my resilience bloomed. I felt my muscles whisper "thank you," my mind finding solace in the quiet strength unfolding. And then, one magical day, a miracle: I went to rise from the floor, a monumental task then, and just... stood up! As if my body knew it could, just like that. Words can't express the gratitude for your invaluable gift. Sharing Yin yoga online, for free, isn't just providing classes; it's building bridges to healing, one pose at a time. For those struggling with pain or trauma, know this: there is hope. And it might just be found in the quiet embrace of a Yin yoga pose and Devi's videos. Thank you for being the light in the darkness, and for the strength you helped me find within.
Oh Bonnie this is an incredible testimonial! It sounds like you've been through a tremendous cycle of loss, recovery and healing. It's wonderful to hear how your UA-cam Yin Yoga habit has been such an integral part of your path! Thank you for sharing your journey. 🩵
The deer and sleeping swan pose and half saddle after it reminds me at the replay in the yin studio yesterday. I like that cat's tale so mutch and prefer to do snail on my bolster. It is more difficult for me than caterpillar. And the way home brings you to your hart. Thx 😍🤩😍.
The richness of adaptation as part of this listening yin journey. So grateful to my body for telling me things, for my homemade bolster, cushions, blankets, my blocks, my mat, and my breath for supporting me, holding me, enabling me to still do these wonderful practices with arm injury, heavy menstrual bleeding and so many other potential barriers. And so grateful to Devi ❤ for holding this grounding space even when the words send you to vast places, I still come home to myself here on the mat with my toes touching the ground and my mind awake.
I think I love you….your yoga guidance is exceptional. I found today that I like to lightly rest my front foot on top of my bent foot when in the half-saddle pose. I am so inflexible that this helps my quad stretch. Thank you so much for this series.
Thank you. I discovered that hero pose after deer made it much easier for me. When continuing this journey, I am getting more and more in the quietness.
Yesterday was a busy day, helped my cousin with her dog- I am still strucling to calm down and schedule a yoga time if I have a busy day. Enjoyd the legs behind the head pose (I used to do it when I was a kid).Day 12 now to day 13. My hubby and our dog were practising with me and now both are snoring 😂talk about relaxing. Lovely day to all of you💚🧡
