what if someone doesn't like to be a influencer on linkedin, what happens to the personal interest of peoples, you said be an influencer on inkedin thats okay..but what if i have no personal interest to be publically available by posting regularly?
Hi Ritik gupta, I had the exact thought a year back, but after reading one concept in "Show your work" book. In our digital era, "If your work is not in online, it's not even exist". you don't have be an influencer but you can use the platform to showcase your skills. If you gain followers in this process, it's just a by-product of showing your work!

@@naveens9177 yeah that i understand but with this logic, i am not active on any social media platform, i dont want to post anything, how am i supposed to do this also and .........also with this logic what happened to "our passion" attitude, if one can't even follow its passion of "not posting any thing on social media" (this can also be someones passion) if am unable to follow my this passion, does it means anything in one's life.................ok leave this behind. now........ creating portfolio on github is good, we are collecting our projects at one place, i do that, but i don't want to post my thoughts on linkedin,, i knew one has to change with time, but forcing peoples to post on social media and companies hiring only social media active guys is biasness .......its not the freedom i wanted...i know its complicated, but just think, my passion is to "not post on social media", but with this changing trend i am not able to follow my passion is it right. ?
@@ritikgupta6825 I understand, but in GitHub, there is very less possibility for your work to get noticed. Posting about your work in Linkedin, is just an extension of tracking your projects in GitHub. I can understand you have some policy for your self. But, just for example think, will I prefer the vegetables available in the market just in front of me, or I drive all the way to the farm and look for them ? Yes, It's possible to get job without having the social presence, but you may miss some potential opportunities, which will be available for those who have social presence. It's completely fine if you don't want those possibilities 🙃
