The smoke is just the release of tension as the car relaxes. In Japan, they have to have dudes massage the car with beer to get that to happen. More marbleization of power throughout.
This gives me more confidence that my setup is at least 900 wheel. 5.3 VS 485 ported 243s, Elgin SS2, SEP 1000, BTR intake, 80e with FTI triple disk. Only had it to 24# so far.
Doesnt seem normal to take about 5 seconds to reach full boost. Trans brake & two step will take care of it at the line, but that amount of lag is kinda crazy. But ill admit 500hp on 5psi is awesome!
@@SloppyMechanics just seemed a little lazy at first. Or maybe you rolled into it? My 7875 hybrid lights off almost instantly. Me seems to think a s480 is a tad large for a 5.3…..but it does make damn good power! And sounds good too.
Once you have the Fairmont together will you try n see why the Mustang isn't making expected horsepower ? Ie: manifold change,turbo change something the that effect? Change to alcohol?
