Add: yes, you can run these or similar in your OEM fogs as well. The fog light does not project the light the way the low beam projector in the housing does so from my experience it has no issues with incoming traffic.

One of the first things I did when I purchased my Tacoma was replace my headlights. Just like this guy did, wow, what a difference.
Im glad I came across this video. I had tried some Auxbeam LEDs that had high reviews from YotaVerse customers. They were bright, however they did not project better than the halogen bulbs. You could visually tell the lux was significantly lower from the LEDs. They were so dangerously dim on some Kentucky back roads and I swapped them out for the OEM halogens I had. These LEDs are awesome and I can actually see down the road.
The success story we love to hear!
Awesome, thank you! I've had some Tacoma LED's in my cart for quite a while but always hesitated to purchase. There's an Autoone H9 and H11 combo for $60 on that link also so I got the high beam and low beam, hoperfully lol. Got yellow LED fogs a few months back (Alla) and LED interiors (Bojer) on Amazon as well, very happy with both!
Yes, the lamps are amazing at a wonderful price point.

@@teamoildrop Gotta love Amazon, installed em today already!
I always enjoyed auxbeam replacement LEDs did great but then I splurged on morimotos the fancy stuff . Well money spent great coverage and nice cut off lines so oncoming drivers don't get blinded
Yes, a quality set, with a sharp cut off is paramount
Greg
Gonna have to get these today. I just got orange fog lights which I love. The led headlights I got now are not the brightest and halogen I can see better with. Now are there high beam leds I can get dame brand? Thanks man love and appreciate the channel so very much!
Info on the Orange LED's? I got a set of yellow ones but I'd like orange, not sure which color works better.
Right on!
Orange or the yellow?
Greg
@@teamoildrop well the fog lights I don't notice a difference from the yellow ones I had when it comes to brightness. I drove into work with the led headlights from your video and I can tell it's much better then what I had btw!
I got the lasfit led switchback on my fogs and man leds do last longer and run cooler to lol
They really do. Some people have had issues int the winter with LED headlights icing over. Less heat from the lamps can lead to an iced over lense assembly.
Greg
The problem with some of the higher wattage LED bulbs is that they can blow fuses, or even burn your wires.
This is 52 watts vs the more common 60 watt halogen option. Light emitting diodes generally use less power than halogen.
These work for both low beam HL and Fog lights?
No, these are just for the low beams. Each light has a separate lamp
Greg
The problem with having these as your main light is that most tacomas are higher sitting vehicles, and those bright lights can blind the people coming at them. I would only use as fog or high beams.
This is based on outdated info of vehicles that couldn’t directionally throw light as our Tacomas and most modern vehicles do. For example, look at the beam pattern in the video in the example. Identical if not even cleaner. I’ve ran LEDs since 2020 and nobody flashes me. Now, what WILL get you flashed and annoy drivers is if you lift your truck and forget to adjust beam aim OR adjust beam aim incorrectly.
No, that is incorrect. The beam pattern and horizontal line of a properly designed LED lamp will not do that. It is always imperative to check the aim one replacing any headlamp bulb regardless of type.
If the lights are aimed properly, they will not clear for oncoming traffic.
You must adjust your lights after putting in new bulbs . Most people don’t and then they get flashed ! There are plenty of videos that show you how to properly adjust your lights !…….
@@thomasdaum1927 if yours install and aren’t like these then by all means adjust!
Tried joining the discord but it says it’s an invalid address. Is there another way to join it?
Hmmm… did you click the link in the description? I just tried it again and it worked.
Question, do you have anything protecting your catalytic converter from the... dare I say it...... cat burglars?
I'm thinking of Security Cat Shield and then getting an engraver and putting a huge middle finger on the shield telling them to "Get a Job bum"!
I don’t… my work area is secure as is my house 😌 But one day I may.
I picked up a set of used Cali Raised cat shields. A friend was selling his truck and getting a Tundra. Great security item

I've read a lot of threads and watched a lot of videos on head light options and a lot of them discourage putting LED lights in reflector holegen style housing because it blinds drivers on coming drivers and scatters the light pattern as opposed to being used in projector style housing...
An alternative I read was to put H9s instead of H11 in your low beam. H9s are actually high beam lights but won't be as bright as they can be in that part of the housing. LEDs kick As for sure but sucks when they are blinding you because they are not in the right housing.
None of that is true fortunately and based on outdated info of vehicles that couldn’t directionally throw light as our Tacomas do.
