Thanks for sharing. One comment, though, and I mean it with care, please try to migrate away from plastic serving/storage dishes and also try building up an organic grocery list for yourself, including spices. I say this lovingly because being a woman, those 2 things, plastic and pesticides, reak havoc on our hormones and have been linked to so many hormone related issues and diseases. Other than that, I loved the video. Thank you for sharing. ❤️

Hi Renee! So happy to hear you are enjoying my videos! :)
Ghee is clarified butter, which essentially means that the butter has been boiled and the milk solids (most of the sugar and protein) are separated from the fat. Ghee is primarily the fat. I like ghee because it still tastes like butter, and has some of the benefits that grass fed butter has but without the lactose, or protein that some people are typically sensitive to in dairy. I Hope this helps!

The cravings for bread and sugar and refined carbs were out of control and lastly... my mom had a heart attack and needed to have a quadruple bypass surgery. She has always been extremely healthy and i got scared about the cholesterol i was feeding my body. Since ive been doing Paleo the cravings are almost non existant and my energy is way up. Hi, I enjoyed watching! I want to make the switch to paleo but I don't seem to find any videos on how someone made the switch and what they did! I need simple videos and don't have time for a book etc. I want/need to use fat to burn for energy instead of sugar. I know that paleo is NOT low carb and that is GREAT. anyhow, if you have any advice pls advise, thanks. I loved your chia pudding. it did not keep me full for many hours though. Wondering what I can do .... I enjoy it with blueberries but do not like almond butter added. So any ideas? thanks I am Insulin Resistant as well.

Hi Kimberly! Have you had a chance to checkout my Paleo 101 playlist? Tons of info there. :) Regarding the chia pudding, I would say add some protein powder or collagen powder and even increase the recipe by 50%. You could add some whole nuts instead of the almond butter. Please keep in mind that I am not medical professional so I can't advise you on insulin resistance. I'm just sharing healthy recipes, I enjoy and hope others will too!

I'm not sure of the measurements in oz. Here is the recipe, I believe a quick google search could help you with that conversion.
      Chia Pudding
      2 Tbsp of chia seeds
      1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries
      1 Tbsp of almond butter

how is this Paleo and use processed food?

    • @tanyaannn
      @tanyaannn  3 роки тому

I think everyone follows paleo differently. The reality of the situation is we live in a modern-day world now, where it is very difficult to avoid ALL processed foods. I choose to include foods that have been processed, but still follow Paleo guidelines (grain, legume, dairy, and processed sugar-free). Hope this helps answer your question. :)

Wouldn't it be better to switch the salad for dinner and the dinner for lunch instead?
I can imagine hunger pangs and cravings during a working day on that salad.
Also, isn't it recommended (and the conventional wisdom) to have a lighter meal for dinner?
I was occasionally glancing at the video my wife was watching, while she was munching on a large chocolate chip cookie (after the maple bar). But we BOTH came to those same questions (above) at the same time.

      @@tanyaannn True.
I was only glancing. I'm the cook in the house, she doesn't have the security clearance. 😆 The house is hers, the kitchen is mine. A FAIR bargain, methinks.
I cook things that I can never reproduce, because I make it up as I go along, vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
I also cook for our dog. Probably eats better than most dogs; definitely not food out of a plastic sack.
I find cooking to be calming and enjoyable. Much like when I used to clean my father's car, which would take me 6 hours. You get into a zone, a rhythm. Wax on, wax off. 😄
