- We've been blessed to have gotten to experience some of the world's most beautiful hikes. So here is 5 minutes of some of our favorite footage from hiking the world throughout the past few years, set to our brand new channel song, "Shine".
For those of you wondering - we have been hit with an overwhelming amount of illness, work, and rainstorms over the past few weeks, which has prevented us from getting out to the hiking trails. However, with a bit of luck and good fortune, we hope to make it back to happy hiking trails this weekend!

Adam finally started feeling better toward the end of last week, so of course he decided we should do a grueling winter ascent of San Gorgonio yesterday. It was really, really hard but totally epic. Great video! You should make a book of your experiences or have something like this and have motivational presentations for schools, clubs, or organizations. Inspire them to follow their dreams but with the reality of all the hard work involved. Ok I’m getting a little too mushy but I thought I would throw it out there. The title of the book and presentation: “Finding Your True Snack Spot.”
Now that is a great title, Monte!!! Honestly, that's the kind of thing we would absolutely love to do and quite likely will one day. We should have quite an adventure portfolio built up to present on if 2024 and 2025 go the way we're planning! ❤️

Yes! We are absolutely doing that at the end of June to celebrate leaving LA for full-time adventure. Will probably be a hike up Mt. Baldy since that is the true LA classic hike, but we'll let you guys know for sure once we're about a month out!! ❤️

@@LiveHardxLoveHard easily my favorite view of Yosemite so far, and my friend and I had it to ourselves! So cool to see Yosemite falls, which is roaring right now, and Nevada falls in the distance both in one spot. Half dome, clouds rest, and the snowy Sierra dominating the sky. It was truly magical. With the soft snow up there, though, we worked for it. Didn’t have it in us to go to el cap
@@colbyclay5911 That is perfect! The views from Eagle are even better than the views from El Cap, and the suffering required to get to El Cap and back in soft snow would have been extreme. Eagle was definitely the right call -- so glad you guys loved it!!

I'm pretty sure they're in no danger of running out of ideas. The weekend weather in the Sierras and Southern California (SoCal) Mountains have been rainy, windy or snowy lately. No idea why it's just been the weekends. It's still windy and partly cloudy but, looks nice here right now where I live. Hopefully there'll be hope for a new video from them soon

That is a great question Martin, and the answer is absolutely yes! That has been super high on Adam's bucket list for years. We will quite likely do it -- and film it! -- in the next year or two. Have you done it before? If so, please give us any beta you have and we'll file it away for when the time comes! ❤️
@LiveHardxLoveHard Hi Elise, sadly no I haven't hiked the GR 20. It was on my wish list to for years. Business and family intervened. Its a two week undertaking, and reputed to be one of the hardest hikes worldwide ! An old hiking friend of mine did it in 2014... in his sixties! Halfway across, he had to get a lift into a town to buy new boots, his existing ones had worn through. I'm now almost eighty, so out of the question for me.
can you do a version of the video with the names of the various hikes? that is the strength of your channel that people can follow you.

That was Lake Braies in the Dolomites. It's really something, isn't it? We walked all the way around it one day while taking a recovery day from climbing giant via ferratas! And yes we're doing much better, thank you, and looking to do a big adventure this weekend! ❤️
