    I just made this bread after watching your video and we are going to “sample” it with our dinner. I love my Bosch and like you said they are real work horses. I do love my Kitchenaid as well just has a different use - I usually make smaller batches of cookies in it, use the pasta attachment and other attachments with it. If you look at all the preservatives in store bought bread it should make anyone want to make homemade bread. I have been making bread for more years than I want to admit but I still love the smell of it baking in my kitchen. I always think of the scripture when I am making it…..”I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger and he who believes in me shall never thirst”. John 6:35. Blessings Julie!

    I love making homemade bread. Earlier in the month of January when I was trying to really eat from pantry and use up some older things, I found I had a box of instant oatmeal packets. I used those to make some oatmeal bread and it was wonderful! I want one of those mixers some day!

    What a treasure you are. I am so happy your video was in my feed. I am looking at Bosch by the way. I had a kitchenaid Pro 600 that recently bit the dust. It can't comfortably make more than 2 loaves without struggling. I want to try your bread recipe tomorrow. Thank you

    Maybe you could use steel cut oats if you soaked them…maybe overnight?!
    Every time I see someone using the push up measuring cup I say I’m getting one of those but I always forget when the opportunity is there. That’s what happens when you’re 65 I guess.
    I still make single loaves by hand, any more than that is too hard to knead for me.
    I wish I had known about the Bosch mixer before I got the kitchen aide.
    👍🙏🇺🇸🧐
    I have 7 quarts of beef in the canner while I watch you make bread!🤓

      Thank you! Yes, I think you would definitely have to soak them. I love my push cup! I have 3! 1 each for the kitchen and pantry, and 1 smaller one. I have had a kitchen aid for over 20 years, but have always disliked having to work around the head of it to put my ingredients in the bowl. My bosch is so much easier, AND you can get the different attachments just like the kitchenaid. I am so happy with my decision! ❤

    Hi miss Julie my name is torey perschall, I am blind and a mudlsician and learning to make bread in my bosch mixer for the first time. How will my bosch tell me when I have enough flower to start beading?

    • @JulieKeeperofMyHome
      @JulieKeeperofMyHome  Рік тому

      Hi Torey! Welcome to my channel! I usually use all the flour called for in the recipe. You want your dough to be soft after kneading. If it's sticky, add an extra 2 Tbsp of flour, then knead 2 more minutes and check the feel and texture. If it's still sticky, repeat. I hope this helps. I love that you have a bosch! It's the best mixer for bread, in my opinion. ❤

      @JulieKeeperofMyHome  Рік тому

    • @debmartindale6991
      @debmartindale6991 5 місяців тому

      I see Azure Standard has 'vital wheat gluten flour'. Is this what you use or is it something? ALSO do you use blackstrap molasses or some other type?

    • @JulieKeeperofMyHome
      @JulieKeeperofMyHome  5 місяців тому +1

      I have recently stopped using vital wheat gluten. I actually ran out. I found I didn't see a huge difference in our bread either way after I stopped using it. A penny saved is a penny earned!
      I don't use blackstrap, although you could. It would give your bread a stronger flavor if you do. I use Crosby's molasses. I'm not sure if you have that brand in your area or not. I hope this information helps.

    Using fresh ground wheat is better. White flour from the store is nutrient deficient.

    • @JulieKeeperofMyHome
      @JulieKeeperofMyHome  2 місяці тому

      Thank you. I do appreciate your opinion. I use both, actually, when making my bread at home each week. Many of my viewers, however, do not have the option to use fresh ground wheat, as they do not own a grain mill. Creating videos showing recipes using both store-bought flour and freshly milled flour is helpful for everyone. Have a blessed day! ❤️
