Thank you. I learned so much from this and am now searching for a mill and a bucket of wheat berries! I was diagnosed with leukemia 6 months ago and need to eat healthy. I have become very conscious of all the additives and preservatives there are in our food and try to eat as whole as possible. This will definitely help me towards that end. Thank you for all of the content you produce. I really enjoy your videos and get so much out of them. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

I love my Mock mill. I bought the 200 pro. It was a tough decision because of the cost but I don't regret buying the one I did. I also like the whole wheat bread I have made. I have also made seeded bread with milled flour which was very good. Have a happy week!

    Wow! Beautiful snow! ❄️
I love my milling my own grains. I use a WonderMill...
Also wanted to say how much I appreciate that you use your normal speaking voice, I don't understand why so many on UA-cam feel they need to shout all the time .
Appreciate you & your content so much!

Great info! There is a channel called Grains In Small Places. She used fresh milled flour exclusively. She does everything with it. Bread, cookies, pie crust, filo dough, tortillas, cakes, focaccia bread, hamburger buns, you name it. She doesn’t use any bought flour. She is a wealth of information and recipes. You may be interested in her stuff.

You have reminded me I need to grind some of the wheat berries I’m keeping. I use einkorn as well. I used to make it more when the kids lived at home. Now it’s the two of us and I am having trouble with wheat for the last couple years, so it’s just for my husband now. But I’m going to try the einkorn again, sometimes I don’t react as badly. (Menopause years are fun!) I don’t have any dust really. I also keep the berries in the freezer chest and they don’t get as hot when ground. (But I don’t get the bucket size amounts) definitely a completely different bread experience with fresh ground!! Thanks!! ❤ for people new to a grinder, it’s not just for bread. You can coarse grind berries etc for hot cereals too.

Thank you, Michelle! I have einkorn in the freezer that will be made into bread very soon. Thank you for the wonderful tip about grinding to make cereal!! ❤️

This makes me want to get a mill. You make it look easy and I know I can do it. I've wanted to invest in a mill, I just wasn't sure I'd use it. You've made me want too. I'm just gonna start saving. I want a mixer like yours too! I wish I could sit at your table Julie. I'd love that. Love to your family.

Thank you, Carol! You can do this!! It really is very easy and so much better nutritionally. Start saving now, and maybe by fall, you'll be milling away! 😊

Loved the video we just recently got the mock mill and have started to use it. Was the ap flour you used freshly milled or was it white flour already ready to go? Just wondering how much flour I would use if it was all fresh milled hard red wheat?

The all-purpose was already ground. Kamut can be used 1:1 ratio with all-purpose. I love kamut flour! If you are using straight wheat, you may need to add more than you would just using all-purpose. I would start with 8 cups, mix, then let it sit a bit, and absorb the liquid before adding more. I'm not sure how much it will take, as there are so many variables... weather, altitude, home humidity, etc. It'll be a fun process. I love the process! Have a blessed week!

Looks delicious! Due to a gluten allergy...now down to sensitivity, I use Einkorn flour. I have a successful sourdough starter and have been experimenting with different sourdough recipes.
As long as I don't overdo it, I'm able to tolerate the Einkorn sourdough breads.
I love the idea of milling flours. Does your Mockmill grind rice? I haven't successfully made a rice bread yet but am working on using yellow peas and beans for bread as well. It's a work in progress...tastes fine, texture and crumb...not so much. Will keep trying! Always enjoy your content!

Thank you! We love Einkorn flour, too! Yes! The Mockmill 200 will grind rice into flour. It's such a great little tool to have around! 😊
