    1. Count subscribers in current year: COUNT(Subscriber[SubscriberID])
    2. Count subscribers in previous year: CALCULATE(COUNT(Subscriber[SubscriberID]),PREVIOUSYEAR('Date'[Date])) - calculate works with Expression and Filter, which is PREVIOUSYEAR. It requires a single argument - date
    3. Add 5% (not 6% as in your formula) - which results in final formula: Goal =CALCULATE(COUNT(Subscriber[SubscriberID]),PREVIOUSYEAR('Date'[Date]))*1.05
P.S. Great video on showing PowerApps capabilities

I agree with Alex. Calculate, Count, Previous.
Count how many ID are from the result of the calculation of the previous year. But should multiply by 1.05 question said 5% not 6%. There is an error in the formula.

Hi Ruth,Thank you for sharing! clear and awesome video as usual!! Do you have idea on how to export BI service report which with embedded Powerapps , and import it to BI desktop report? Cuz normally a BI service report needs to be updated from BI desktop report , and unfortunately since Nov. the new version of BI desktop have trouble supporting building or choosing an existing app to embed (have reported this issue to MS). That's why I'm trying to build the embedded powerapps in BI service..but now don't see a way to import it back to BI desktop, any advice is appreciated!!

for such slight changes Enter data option and subsequent transformation would be much more convenient way of doing this. It would suit if there would be no limitations with row import to PowerApps, are there any for sharepoint lists? I believe this enter data option should be expanded for more user friendly feature in Power BI

Great video. Thanks. Just a small doubt. As far as I understood, PowerApps needs extra license, doesn’t it? I mean, it is not included on PowerBI license, isn’t it? That’s what IT told me when I asked them to use PowerApps. Thanks.

Dear Ruth (and anyone else that might be able to help). Thank you for this great video! We have created a PowerApps where the users of the Dashboard can insert data that should appear in a column in our table visual. For some reason, a lot of the inputs are not showing up in the table, even when we refresh the dashboard and publish manually. The data appears in the SharePoint and in the PowerApps, but not in the table. Do you know what can be the reason for this? Thank you!

    Answer to Q14 = #4, #2 & #6. In that order...
Re: Write-back: After you publish the report, would the updated data in SharePoint be reflected immediately after an entry is made via the PowerApp visual or only when the dataset is refreshed (either on schedule or triggered manually)? 🤔 Thanks, Ruth!

    • @CurbalEN

Hello Ruth, thank you so much for this video. i truly appreciate you.
    1. I used this measure just as you showed us in the video but i am not getting back the values for when salesplanupdate is blank. can you please take or look or suggest what might be wrong
    New Sales =
    VAR UpdatedSales = SELECTEDVALUE(Sales[SalesPlanUpdated])
    RETURN
    IF(ISBLANK(UpdatedSales),
    SELECTEDVALUE('Fact - Sales & Units'[Sales Plan]), UpdatedSales)
parameters to change the discounts and other columns on the table.
    2. Do you have a video that shows how to create a parameter that will change that individual column
    3. Is it possible that when I make a change on the sales column it affects my YoY% and W/W%
I will appreciate your prompt response. thank you

re :Question 13. I have created a paginated report that is connected to a dataset with RLS rules. When publish to the service you can get the embed token with no additions and put it in your report. the beauty of this is that user when open the paginated reports will only see their data.

Great video! Using this to enable dynamic comments writeback for one my clients report dashboards. I am facing an issue when trying to publish to the same workspace I usually use. I'm certain the issue is now this SharePoint integration, but I'm not sure the work around. The error message I'm getting reads "An error occurred while attempting to publish 'name.pbix': Publishing failed for an unknown reason. (PowerBINotAuthorizedException) Help?

    Hi Ruth,
If you were to have users interact with the report in the service, how would you be able to set up a report refresh to trigger whenever the Sharepoint List changed? Is there any way to do this without making a composit model and connecting to sharepoint live?

Dear Ruth, I just followed your way and am able to edit, add new record and can refresh to see new result in PBI DESKTOP. Then I published it to PBI Service as report. I can update the PowerApp data on this report with the [Powerapp Visual] on the report but then when I select 3 dots on Report and click Refresh , my table visual does not update with the new value I edited. I then goto PBI Workspace, then select the DataSet and click refresh. It goes to [Refresh failed due to gateway configuration issues]. But my SP is online and I can see the SP list has been updated and I have access to it and I do not use on-Prem data. Please help. What am I missing here ? Thanks
