I would like to eliminate the gallery step and just have the dataverse form - so when I click on a record in my power bi table the dataverse form picks up the ID in a new or edit mode. I have been able to do this successfully with my source as a sharepoint list but when following the same steps for a dataverse source, it's not working. Do you have any videos showing this? Although the PBI data I am trying to work on comes from a built in Table from Visualization chart where data columns come from different tables and source files, and also with a 'new measurement' data. I have a power bi report for which the source data is SQL Server. One of my requirements is to write comments in power bi and while doing so, i don't want these comments to reflect on SQL database since i have only READ view in SQL. Do you have any suggestions how we can overcome this ?

    • @RezaDorrani

You would need write access in order to write to SQL through Power Apps. power Apps cannot update power bi data set. It is read only.

    Awesome video.
Having one doubt, as everyone know PowerApps has limit as it can not get more than 2000 items.
So now, if PowerBI has 7000 rows in data then all those rows will be visible in Powerapps gallery, or it will only show top 2000 rows only.

I tried to navigate as explained but the navigation keep showing blank if the list (item) at gallery(from PBI service) is not on the list at SP .

hi Reza, i created the same but i did the lookup in gallery since my scenario is "Role" be selected in PBI then multiple name should show in power apps Gallery but it is only showing "First result". Was wonsering if it is possible to do lookup but getting all result and not just first?

Lookup function only returns single row.
Im not sure what Role means in your scenario.
