I recommend to keep the paper on while its still cooling and you can put teflon sheets below it and also above it when you heat press. Also the frosting affect can be removed with a simple brush and water once the acrylic is cooled.
Hi, love your video! Very informative! Just want to ask the ‘unicorn’ image that you transfer, is it printed on regular paper? Im thinking to draw my own design, but not sure on what paper i should print my design on.
Just starting at the sub world and your video is very instructive. Also I love your logofor the craft Fairy, I am tried many different things but it didn't come up well..Do you mind if I ask where you had yours done?
Yes you can! - I will actually be releasing a new tutorial within the next couple of days using your Easy Press! Will send the link to it to you once I do! Happy Crafting!
Yes - I have - there shouldn't be any issue removing the paper if you have to scrub it as if it subbed properly then it won't affect the end result UNLESS the temp was too high.
These are regular pieces - but frosted. You can also do it on matte. They have to have to have a matte texture to be able to sub on them. I'll be posting a video soon on subbing matte acrylics.
From what I know sublimation paper with sublimation in and heat will cause a chemical reaction that bonds the ink to the polyester or plastic fibers of the substrate so I don't think so
yes - here it is dangdesigns.ca/ - Nataly and Phong are great! Let them know you're looking for Frosted and now they have matte as well. My video on subbing Matte will be out next week!
This video was beyond helpful!! Thank you

Great tip!

It was printed using sublimation ink and then pressed with a heat press onto the acrylic.
@@littlekraftfairy888 thank you so much
@@littlekraftfairy888 good day. My cast acrylic bends or warps will it be straight and flat with heavy flat item ontop while it cools?
When I do it with white background, the arcylic sheet take the white colour too , how to make background transparent?

I actually am also a designer so I created my own logo. Thank You!
what kind of ink you used? pigment ink or sublimation ink, to heat press in acrylic sheet
Sublimation ink and yes press to acrylic
It looks like there are little bubbles in the unicorn. Is there or is it smooth?
It's smooth - no bubbles
Love your tutorial, would I be able to use my easy press to sub on acrylic? Thanks 😊

@@littlekraftfairy888 yay, I can't wait to see it. I've subscribed to your channel!
Did these acrylic pieces have sublimation coating on them or are the without?
No sublimation coating - they're just frosted
Any setting for acrylic 0.2 cm thick? And thank you!!
0.2 is quite thin - I think this will melt to a point of no repair. Best to use a thicker gauge acrylic.
Where did you get this design I love it. Is it for sale anywhere?
I would assume that you are referring to the unicorn? It was a purchased design from AdobeStock
Did your paper get stuck on the acrylic and had to scrub it while in the water. I saw other video that way.
Yes - I have - there shouldn't be any issue removing the paper if you have to scrub it as if it subbed properly then it won't affect the end result UNLESS the temp was too high.
Have you got Any tips on how to stop the sublimation paper sticking to the acrylic?
I think it really matters on the type of paper you use. I use ASub 105g.
@@littlekraftfairy888 I use the same one. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong 🙈😁
@@missc78 try lessening the pressure?
@@littlekraftfairy888 I will definitely try that thank you 😊
would this be 350 farenheit or celcius?
Fahrenheit
Are the regular acrylic pieces or specific sublimation acrylic
Just regular.

how to coating acrylic?
360 for how long? How many seconds do we press for ??
350 for 40s to 45s - make sure you use a heat temp gun to check that you temp on your press is accurate!
can i use art ink with sublimation paper???
From what I know sublimation paper with sublimation in and heat will cause a chemical reaction that bonds the ink to the polyester or plastic fibers of the substrate so I don't think so
Is there a website where you buy your acrylics?
yes - here it is dangdesigns.ca/ - Nataly and Phong are great! Let them know you're looking for Frosted and now they have matte as well. My video on subbing Matte will be out next week!
