Hii! Thanks for the info! My sublimation keeps coming out "frosty" on the clear acrylic. The print looks good, but the acrylic is frosty/cloudy/patchy on the side that had the paper. I've rinsed in water, I've scrubbed, I've magic erased. Any tips??
I get a foggy film after removing the paper from the 'bath' using a magic eraser. How can I get it back to being clear? Thank you.

If you do white vinyl on the back you can always add glitter to epoxy or uv resin on the white vinyl if worried about it being plain. Or even add another vinyl or waterslide design on the white. Possibilities are endless to jazz up the white

I actually used Cricut infusible ink on some clear acrylic blanks and they turned out great! I like that you have white ones bc I think the colors would show up better!

How to put white vinyl at the back on sublimated clear acrylic ?
How long do you leave it in water for? I have been soaking the acrylic for 5-10 minutes and the paper is still on even when wiping it off. :-(
It varies depending on your pressure, use a magic eraser to help remove it if needed
I tried this for the first time this weekend and I cannot figure out how to prevent the tape from leaving impressions on the acrylic. Also sometimes it subs matte and sometimes shiny and sometimes both lol. I can't figure out how to get it to sublimate shiny. Did you encounter these issues? Maybe it is just trial and error...

Are you sealing these with anything? Ex: UV resin, epoxy, etc?

Did you cut your acrylic yourself? If so did you cut it yourself? Just curious as the acrylic is perfectly sized to all the images you sublimated onto them . Great tutorial just didn't see that information provided
When ever I use the heat tape on my acrylics, it always indents the acrylics where the tape is so there’s tape lines in it!

Thank you for this video, Did you remove the clear plastic that was on the acrylics?
Our acrylics don’t have clear plastic :) it has brown protective paper that you will remove to reveal the clear acrylic
When placing the adhesive vinyl on how do you get it exact? Are you just very very careful?
You can add some soapy water to the blank before you add the vinyl. It will let you move it around to get it as exact as possible. Then squeegee the water out. OR, remove just a small portion of the vinyl and stick to the blank with parchment paper under the vinyl until you get it placed where you want it, then slowly squeegee the vinyl down as you remove the parchment paper. I hope that makes sense. if you look up adhesive vinyl hacks, you'll find both of these methods on the web.

How do you add the white vinyl on the back? I mean how do you cut it?
Do you use a plotter with the shape & size of the acrylic or do you just go around it with scissors or something?

How did you cut the vinyl for the back. Did you put it an laser cut or did you put on and trim with an exacto or something?
For one of them I just trimmed with an exacto, the others I did with a vinyl cutter (silhouette)

question: I tried this and didn't put anything on the back because I wanted a see-through effect....but after removing the paper, it still leaves a slight residue (clears up when wet, but obviously won't stay wet)...any ideas on how to get this to stop?
Epoxy or UV resin will keep it shiny.

Can this be done /w clear sticker paper? Can the sticker paper take the heat? If not is there a material this can be done /w which is not sublimation? Tku..
waterslide is an option, no heat needed
How do you get the picture to sublimate? How do do you know sizing???
the files that come with our acrylics are already sized so if you have a sublimation printer you just print it ready to go :)
if you dont have a sublimation printer you can order a custom sublimation from the website and what you would do is set up several images you want on a 8.5x11 sheet or 12x12 sheet in your software
select print
select save as PDF
and then upload it to the website and we will print it for you!
So do u add the vinyl before or after the heat press sublimation

I believe it’s adhesive vinyl. So you might want to add it after you sublimate.

I tried this and it came out black and white. not color. what am I doing wrong. I have 3x3 clear acrylic circles and I also have 2x2 sublimation circles and it wont transfer to the white on the wooden sub circles
Only cast acrylics will accept inks so it could be your acrylics but also is the image you are using colored and is it sublimation print and sublimation inks?
Why not do a Hot Peal after it's been pressed? heat resistant gloves? Just asking. Thanks
You could but it’s super important to get it under something heavy right away and hot peeling can add to warping ♥️
Why do you have to put something heavy on it? Why can't you just pull the paper off right after you take it off the heat press?
The acrylic will want to bend while it cools so you want to put something heavy to keep it flat

Nice work what paper do you uses and I’m having trouble sublimation it looks like it has water stains or sweat mark my press set up to 375f-60 sec but it’s still not working I started out with Teflon sheets only and then I switch to butcher paper only so I’m having trouble still any tips please and thank you

I am trying to sublimate acrylic keychains, am using cast acrylic, my prints comes out well but when scratch with nails the some of the ink comes off, is there a way to protect the print on the acrylic to come off.
Would you use something like Hyperion on the sublimated acrylics to add to the longevity of the image/vinyl?

Hi any video on car coasters? I'm confuse I order clear decal and I thought they were ready to tranfer to my my keychain? But if they are sublimation clear decal do I have to press the acrylic keychain?

Can you sublimate on all your vinyl products.
This isn't working for me at all :( The ink is barely transferring, the paper isn't sticking, and the acrylic is warping and looks bubbly even after putting it under something heavy. The acrylic is cast acrylic, the ink is hiipoo sublimation ink, and the paper is A sub (started with 105g and then tried 125g), using Epson ET-15000. Help :(
is your temp set to farenheit/ sounds too hot or not actual cast acrylic

I've done several tries and followed step by step, and each time it messes up the cast acrylic... severely warps it and leaves little dots all over it...(I assume it's from the heat) but when I tried turning the heat down the image didn't do well..... I'm so frustrated. :(
Is your acrylic from us (Zindee)? If not it likely isn’t cast acrylic

That sounds like maybe you are pressing acrylic that is not cast?

Hey Neca I have an answer:
You use the same file you got when you bought your acrylics. When in design space, change the colors, play around with patterns, etc and then print on a printer that you have converted to sublimate with sublimation ink. Then heat press onto your acrylic blank. I am really thinking of doing these!!
what can i do if mine warped? They are cooled off now and was wondering if I heat them up again and put something heavy on them if that would work?

when you purchase from them, they provide the cut file for the blanks. You would need a cutting machine (Cricut, Cameo, Brother, etc) since some are delicate cuts

The white will leave a matte finish :)

You would need a sublimation printer. There are videos for converting an epson ecotank to sublimation.

I designed them :) but with purchase of the acrylic you get a matching download
