Your magic garden actually made me cry today. You turned this poorly yard into a beautiful garden. I will always remember when I saw this house the first time and felt so sorry for you as you had left a magic garden. I got over the shock once I realized actually you had a clean slate to work with and knew you could make it beautiful. Linda, you created the most delicate and pleasing to the eye garden I have ever seen.
Ok, props to Leah (I'm guessing) who made the back garden gate open so magically. It didn't go unnoticed. 🤩
Love this video, the tulips are beautiful. Live in the Quiet Cornet of CT and it is still too cold for things to be in bloom. Happy Gardening.
lol yes I wondered who opened the gate. Lol
🌿💗 Ditto!!! 🤣💗🌿
I don't know how you go out each morning and not pinch yourself with this gorgeous garden you have created in such a short period of time. Its just amazing!!
The Tulips are absolutely stunning in your garden and a beautiful arrangement.
Linda i LOVE the addition of the Lomandra grasses! Fantastic!!
Zone8b-I’ve wanted that grass since she showed it in a pot at the old house at least 2yrs ago! FINALLY, I ordered it online just last month, and of course 1month later, my local HoneDepot got it in for much cheaper than I paid online 😩 BUT, so far-I love it!!
@@jdartdiva1I’m zone 8b in GA… I’ll be looking for it at my Home Depot!❤
I too loved when Linda potted and displayed in previous garden. Stunning ! Always wondered what it was, now. Zone6B here, will it be available and thrive in my zone ?
Picture of Spring ! The neighbors must love you 😍🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌹🌹🌹💐💐🥀🥀
The front yard looks absolutely beautiful.
❤I bought two topiaries today. I must have Vaterititis
🤣🤣🤣
You've taught me so much. Thank you. Because you are a perfectionist and a wordsmith, you might want to know that an engineer or physicist might take issue with the way you use the word "torque."
The back looks wonderful. I like the red geraniums in the middle of the grasses. The tulip show in the front yard just gets better every time you show them blooming. I saw plenty that still are in buds and will add to the beauty. You did a. Wonderful job as always.🌷🌷💐
I live in Ft. Worth and planted Sunshine Ligustrum in my beds 5 years ago and they still look amazing. They made it through the Snow Mageddon and the brutal heat...I love them!❤
Your yard is so beautiful!! It is amazing in 1 year what you have created !! ❤❤
Your table in the back turned the other direction looks so good! The gardens are gorgeous!
I wish I could post pictures here because I did a bed last year with sunshine ligustrum backed with red lorapetalum, and behind that, blue point junipers. It’s such a pleasing contrast of colors and texture.
I have sunshine ligustrum in my South Carolina garden. I have them pruned in three was, round, flouncy, and I am trying to shape a taller one into a small tree. The brick patio is just stunning! I have watched the entire garden plan, but it is even more beautiful now!
You have taught me so much about mixing texture and form to enhance my gardens. Thank you!
The added grasses outback really add a lot of dimension to the area. Working with red colors draws your eye in. Nice choice and the back is really coming along. Congrats to your vision for the back as I know it took a lot of mental thinking, but so well worth it.
I cant get over how beautiful your yard looks already while in SE Wisconsin we have snow on the ground 🤷♀️
Our latest storm is just ending here in VT. Mother Nature graciously gave us 2 feet of snow today!
Oh Linda! It is all absolutely beautiful! You have done a beautiful job in the new garden! I know you will enjoy this for many years to come. Bravo!
That tulip blend along with the pansies and violas look so beautiful in your front garden.
I can’t believe how much the pansies have filled in!
So happy you have grass plants Linda. It would be nice if you in corporate it a few in the front. Just a little suggestion. It will look good in your garden.
I’m brand new to gardening and I am learning so much from watching you. I love how you talk about the names of the plants and all the details. I feel like I’m in gardening school! Hoping this new hobby will take off for me.
Oh, my goodness! The person hiding behind the gate to the back yard is hysterical!!
Absolutely love Stuart’s regular variations of “lets do it” at the start too the videos ! Makes me 😊
I am so amazed w/all the beautiful tulips! I am in awe!
Linda in her rubber riding boots is always amazing to see :)
Jim Putnum influenced me to buy this wonderful plant for Texas and you influenced me to make it into a topiary 😊 I shape mine into a four sided flat conical shape. It looks so cool!
I love the Platinum Beauties! I have three of them. They transformed my front garden with their flow-y, spikyness. I have them with holly ferns, aspidistra, yupon hollies and dusty miller in one area and one is in a bed with lilac colored penstemons, raspberry colored rock roses and impatiences. And, that bed also has a two tiered topiaried sunshine ligustrum!
You've got it right!!
The back is perfect!
Love ❤
What is the potted shrub on your table? Love its dramatic shape. Please share.
Please also tell us the blend of tulips used in the front yard.
Enjoyed your video today😊🪴🪴😊
Your storybook cottage and gardens are magnificent. Your tulips are exquisite!
Linda, your garden is beautiful, as well as you!
22:04. Those 🌷 tulips ❤. You had a vision last year and it’s a pleasure to see it coming to fruition.
I love the pink & orange tulips. 🩷🧡 They are unflinchingly gorgeous. It’s a nice change to see a bold color palette for Spring.
You have recently added a good bit of larger plants both in the front and back and that coupled with the tulips have really made a big difference in your garden. Looks lovely and more mature. 👍🏻❤️
Your garden is so beautiful. I love everything about it. I love the Easter arrangement and your sweater as well!
I like it both ways! Nice job Linda🪴
Linda love your garden so beautiful.
The Platinum Beauty Lamandra is so gorgeous in those two pots. I love them! Your centerpiece is perfection. When you took us to the front and walked along the tulips and onto the front, it was just beautiful beyond words. No one would believe how young your garden is. The back is beautiful too. I can’t wait to see the tulips in back in bloom and see your Easter table. Oh, how I wish I was your neighbor. The next best thing is watching your videos and ‘visiting’ with you and your team. What joy you bring to my life. Thank you for sharing!❤
I liked it all billowy and lush looking!
Absolutely gorgeous and stunning garden ❤
Made my first Sunshine ligustrum topiary last year and it is going strong in a container on my southern facing deck. It looks amazing this year!
Beautiful surprises of pops of color!
Wow your garden looks so beautiful in no time each week better and better. The tulips are stunning along your border
🌸🪻Love, Love ❤ your front and backyard! They have turned out amazingly beautiful! 🌷🌹
I can’t believe this was empty space just a short time ago. Amazing, Linda! Thank you for sharing this unbelievable beauty! 🌺
Wow the yard, Linda! Wow! Wow! Wow!
Beautiful!
Vater, that is absolutely gorgeous.
I'm absolutely like you, in love with the lomandra! The back garden is amazing In a different way from the front garden. As far as the ligustrum is concerned, I'm kind of a flouncy girl. I like things to grow in their natural shape but your topiaries are to die for!
What a beautiful spring show!
Love the Lomandra in the back. It is very eye catching.
Simply magical
Garden is truly gorgeous! Even prettier than last week! WOW!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ❤❤
I just love the way you front and back yard looks absolutely beautiful!!! Love the music at 25:18. Thanks for sharing
Thank you kindly for your ongoing inspiration. Enjoy.
I bet you just can’t wait to get out there and stare at your beautiful garden. It’s stunning really .
Stewart, you’re so fun and you really make the videos!! Luv from WV❤
Love the container!
Garden is like a pretty easter basket full of beauty ❤
In New Jersey, Our daffodils are up but not the tulips or red buds. Magnolias are in full bloom. The National Butterfly Center uses a fermented butterfly brew with tremendous success to attract Lepidoptera, And, Dr. Doug Tallamy uses a bucket of leaves with water and BT for mosquitoes! We passed an ordinance no mow Sunday and quiet electric blowers. (Montclair, NJ). Love your bouquet.
What is BT? Is this technique used as an environmentally kind way to kill mosquitoes?
@@highislandwoman yes, bacillus thuringiensis for organic gardening, the leading insecticide, no harm to birds or beneficial insects but will kill caterpillars (who shouldn’t be in a bucket attracting mosquitoes).
Love ligustrum! Go it all ways you have suggested🦋
Linda, Your garden is so beautiful 😍! You have done such a wonderful job! Everything looks so "magical" ! From Georgia with love ❤
Yard is looking beautiful!!! Love that sweater!
Beautiful as always. Love it.
Your back yard patio is just lovely how you are putting it all together. I thing your colors are perfect. And the tulips in your front are just beautiful, just like you looked today. I love your sweater!
So pretty. Spring is in the air 🎉😊❤
So amazing what you have created. Your tulips are gorgeous and I love the color palate. Your neighbors are all smiling and I'm sure inspired by you.!!!!
🌿💗 I never ever doubted you, your eye, nor your abilities. Love it just like I knew I would. 💗🌿
Happy Spring Gardening 🪴 everything is looking amazing. I’m looking forward to your Wednesday video on boxwood 🤗
You did such an amazing job in such a short period of time, Thank You for sharing it with us!
Beautiful ..i love it...evertin garden...❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Linda
The backyard is beautiful! It’s like another room added to the home with the benefits of being outside. It’s a terrific transformation! ❤🥰still too cold for any of this in 7 a New York even my daffodils have not bloomed yet !
I love sunshine ligustrum here in NE KS both ways. It’s really deciduous though here but does so well throughout the heat with very little watering. I wish I could grow it out in the front yard, it takes too long to fill back in for the front. Love how you shaped that up. I’ve got it growing in courtyard with David Austin roses.
Thank you for the gardening inspiration you have brought into my daily awareness! Your positive attitude and creativity have given me a new outlook on how to think outside my previous “box” of how to design our outdoor space. Stewart brings such a talent to the photography, and love his inputs! Not in this video visual, Leah brings a youthful “vintage” to the trio! Love you and your team! Happy Easter to you all!
ZOWIE!! What a colorful front yard!!! Spring has sprung in Oklahoma!! 🦋🪴🌺🥀🐞🐛🤩
Linda, your front terrace screens Easter. Well done!
What a great corner lot! I didn’t see the before, but the front entrance truly is stunning. Happy Spring!!
Your garden & vocabulary is immaculate. 😁
Everything is beautiful! I planted an Encore azalea “Amethyst” last year, can’t wait to see it bloom this year! 🌸
Your gardens are beautiful. You have got a lot done in a short time. Very beautiful!🌷
Look forward to seeing your videos ❤
Just bought 3 small ligustrum plants and 2 platinum beauty lonandras for my south facing coastal nc (hot & humid) patio! Thanks for the recommendations!
I am so curious about where (and when) the rain barrel got removed (or moved). How did I miss that? The garden is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing! 😎🇨🇦
I have struggled to find a foundation plant that would hold up to our weird Louisiana weather the last few years, but the sunshine ligustrum (I just keep it size controlled by clipping a little bit) has been a winner. I have red dianthus planted in front of it as well as red and yellow pansies since last fall. Oh, my, it has been truly beautiful the last month or two. Not tried the grass, but love the vibe it gives the backyard, Linda!
Have you ever considered Lady's Mantle? Especially good cut flower fresh or even dried. Would look stunning anywhere in your garden, but maybe Lemon Lane? Everything looks beautiful!
Hi from Annie you look great in the jeans and the two toned jumper. Tulips are splendid show, the garden is looking good, when I do any type of pruning I get carried away it is easy to do as you know.. Flowers from the garden are always such a delight to have indoors or gift to others.
It walkways amazes me how fearlessly brutal you are when pruning. I am such a chicken... I am so happy to see full foliage , I just leave it alone. But I do know pruning will actually make it fuller. The apples and azaleas was a picture of perfection!!!!!!!!!!!! That is reminiscent of LV style to me.
I like my shrubs more natural. I plant them in the spot where I can let them do their thing. This old gal doesn’t want to prune 125 shrubs. I’m a once and done kinda gal now.
So nice ❤❤❤❤
Your tulips are stunning. Mine are slowly rising! Can’t wait. And my globe Alliums are popping up as well
Did some pruning on my lavender. Looks so much better. The pansies look pretty. 💚🌷🪻🌿☀️
I love the ligustrum!! I am so happy to see this today. I saw them at Home Depot over the weekend and I have been dreaming about them. I sort of like them free form, kind of breezy, but you have given me new ideas. I have the perfect spot where they will be next to blue salvia.
Very nice information
I love everything in your garden, but where did your Texas sage go that you had in the ground in that left corner?♥️♥️
SO BESUTIFUL.....I LOVE❤❤❤
The table placement is nice that way. Makes the garden more welcoming. Everything is looking beautiful. The tulips really amp up the cottage vibe. We have daffodils and hyacinth blooming early here in IL, but tulips are a ways out. Hoping the Sunshine Lagustrum might do alright. We are now a zone 6. I like boxwood balls but unsure on the lagustrum. Both maybe!
Hi again like to say was so happy to see the red geraniums they are great, I have a hedge of them out front and inside my garden they never disappoint always come back thriving no matter what weather even if you over prune them they still come back fabulously. best investment for plants they last over 20 years and more....
Linda I bought those Barnel clippers last year from you link and LOVE them. Could you talk about how you take care of you tools and keep them sharp.
Great information. Please provide this info for those of us who veggie garden in containers ONLY! Much appreciated.
I like to keep my Ligustrum spherical. I noticed that by turning my pruners over (tip facing down) it makes it easier to round out the shape of the shrubs I'm clipping.
Great video, thank you for sharing this with us
Im going to invest in the beautiful plant.❤
