Looking back at the cutscene with Lucina vs Chrom. That would probably scare the daylights out of me. Some mysterious figure is constantly appearing out of nowhere, claiming to be the hero king of old. And when you go to fight them they not only have your sword, but match your fighting style to completely. Even down to your stand and how you flourish your sword. Its basically like fighting yourself but it's not you at all.
I always thought chrom was thinking holy hell is this a long lost relative or even a apparition of Marth sjdjjfjf this game is so so cool I still play it haha

I thought it was repeating the cutscene from the beginning as like a bookend or restarting the game or something, but then Robin's hand is shown to no longer possess the Mark of Grima and god damn, I nearly cheered out loud.
No wonder the Risen were over running the castle. All the soldiers wield lances and the Risen wield axes. They have weapon advantage! Probably why Lucina wanted them to grab a SWORD. 😂
Man, these cutscenes are still all amazing, even now. but... my personal favorite moment was at 13:43 with that scream, like when I first heard that one, it felt.... real. It felt and sounded like she was truly afraid of her seemingly inevitable death, but still carrying her last bit of hope in a bid to stand her ground to the end.
After years i just learned what great gift these cutscenes were. They are animated in ONES, the amount of EFFORT pumped into a dying franchise's presumed last battle was incredible. The fluidity still makes me swoon.

No matter how many times I watch it, the scene where Lucina reveals her eye to Chrom makes me tear up. She is Fire Emblem's most amazing, heart-touching, character, and a hero above and beyond every sense of the word.
Its so crazy the differences between Chrom and Lucina expressions when Grima finally awakes. Chrom is worried but Lucinas face shows dispair, almost as if on verge of tears.
9:13 Bit of an oversight here. Lucina doesn't have the Brand of the Exalt in her left eye. Of course, this is before it is discovered she is Lucina, aka Chrom's daughter, but still, I would've appreciated that bit of detail.

Even though Fates had 3 games that expanded more on the plot, I still couldn't enjoy it as much as Awakening. The story felt less compelling after chapter 7 and the characters weren't even close to Awakening's amazing characters. The only thing I can say about it is that I LOVED the gameplay for that game.
I have a confession to make. I've never played fire emblem but I come back to this video daily to see Chrom ^__^ I doubt the 3DS can do the graphics justice
