Dude nice setup!! I got the 21 Trailboss custom and I wanna swap out the custom grill to the LT version but it’s hella pricey. About $5000 all said and done. But can I recommend something for your setup? Add the rear wheel liners from the dealership. It’s only a couple $100 bucks but it make it look a while lot better in the rear wheels
I actually did this conversion to my own Custom Trail Boss for a lot less. I ordered the grill directly from GM for about $450. Found the headlights on eBay for around $1200 or so. Then I got the GEN five DIY harness for about $350.
I have a 23 Trail Boss as well. My grille surround was not clipped in, just like yours. 2 locations. Just took a little push to snap it in. What is really annoying is that the front bumper is not centred to the grill surround. Yours looks the same. Inset on the passenger side. Proud on the drivers side. The dealer says there is nothing they can do to fix it. General Motors quality.
Beautiful truck. I just bought a 2023 Silverado RST with 3.0 Duramax. I am torn between going with the 2 in Leveling Kit or a 3-4 inch lift. How are you liking the drive quality?
Did you have to add any lower strut spacers to the front to give it the level look? (Ex. 4” bds kit +2” factory + maybe 1.5 lower strut spacer). I have a 4” Rc +my 2” that came on the Trailboss and it still nose dives a bit in the front.
Nope, just strut spacer along with factory 2 in front. Rear block is the difference. They make them in different sizes but this kit eliminates factory rake. Rough country I believe gives you the option to install a bigger rear block.
You think 37s would fit with the BDS 4 inch kit? Maybe if I raise the front a little more with a shock or spacer? In the market right now to get my 21 trail boss lifted 🙌🏼
I would say with a positive or zero offset wheel, and no mud guards on the front, definitely should fit. The 35’s with the -24 offset have plenty of room but the mud guards touch when backing up. I’m actually considering this myself. If I go through with it I’ll upload here! There’s a video of a 2019 or 2020 that has a 6 inch kit with 37s, he didn’t add anything else either. I’ll try to find the video and tag you.
I’d be ok with a zero offset… 17s on 37s I like my trucks with a little “bro lean” the back I’d have to figure out what would work since I don’t want it so high.
Sorry for the late reply. Just slight trimming on the front mud flaps. I do get rubbing when reversing at times. But can do full U-turns with no issues. If I removed the mud flaps completely I think it would eliminate rub. I just haven’t got around to doing it, not really a need. But definitely some rubbing.

@braylonbarnes5588 Appreciate that man, I just got a ZR2 and was looking to setup similar to yours. Just didnt want to compromise the drive. Beautiful truck though bro.
Sorry for the late reply! It was difficult due to the bolts behind the headlights, the entire front clip has to come off. I let the shop that lifted my truck put it on. I didn’t have the tools or the patience
@@Torred717 I've got a 2022 Glacier Trailboss custom and I'm gonna swap the grill like u did. Your truck is really sharp. I just did the mudflap delete on mine. Got the kit thru Rough Country. Made itook 100% better.
Super clean and the wheel offset was a perfect choice/fit. Nice truck man!
That truck is so badass .
Thank you!
maaan this truck is so sick, perfect in my opinion. not TO much but just sits so tall and nice
Nice, Simple & Clean
What a beautiful truck. Congratulations bro
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
Wow!! Badass machine!
Thanks for posting. I have the same truck and I want to do a four inch lift also.
You won’t regret it!
Nice, thanks for uploading. The thought of changing out the grille made it unique, nice touch!
thank you!! It’s definitely my favorite mod so far.
Beautiful truck I have the blue one and thats how I want it to look.
Thank you man! I love the blue! I wish I could’ve found one!
Love it man! Picking up my RST today, silver too! Time to wrench

How's the 2.7L holding up with the lift? How bad did it tank the gas mileage? Looking into doing this on mine, thanks!

Можно выдвинуть передний бампер вперед, подложив шайбы под болты крепления. Говорят, помогает.
It is bumpy or smooth on the back?
when you say 4 inch lift, is this the 2 inch factory PLUS the 4 inch you put in? Or do you remove the factory one and add in the 4 inch one?
